I can't tell you how happy I was to see the first Bug Fix being the octave matching for different DAWs! It was really tough keeping track of things in Reaper sometimes because of the misalignment. Thank you SO much!!

Nice update! Addressed a lot of inconveniences with the initial release and the new features added are going to step up the writing a lot. And I’m glad auto slide is a keyswitch now, that’s something I personally wanted to see.
I’d like to see something similar done for vibrato if possible, maybe a toggle on/off keyswitch. A lot of times I only want some notes to have vibrato, or I want really aggressive and fast vibrato on one note, but it makes every other note sound bad. I think that would be a great move and would cement this further as a definitive metal guitar plugin. Super excited to see where you go with this next.

This update is really necessary! Especially the feature with the working midi keyboard in the plugin, because it is very convenient. It would be nice to add a slide feature, as Serum has, for example. When two notes touch, the transition between them is smooth. Keep developing Odin III, it's the best vst guitar ever

Love this! In the future it'd be great to get the other tuning options. Drop A#, G# and F# especially. Not a big thing though, this is awesome already.

Yes, Odin 3.1 is the new version of Odin 3, which came out 1 month after release of Odin 3.

Oh damn I was literally thinking about those bent pinch harmonics today, you guys are the best, even the playable keyboard, I use it only a little but now it's there and it's great.
If I may make only one suggestion(only if you're planning to work on this more in the future)
Perhaps besides the auto-slide switch an auto hammer-on and pull off with ranges for example 2-3 semitones for hammer-ons and pull-offs would be perfect.
Regardless this was one of the if not the best purchase this year, almost finished two or three songs already(i say almost finished cause I'll keep working on them till I can't hear them anymore)

Yes it needs single coil options for less heavy styles.

Thank you for midi-channel string selection. I purchased and I'm going to be messing around with it in the coming days.
Please include a way to disable all velocity-sensitive triggers so the instrument can be controlled exclusively using the keyswitches.
Maybe a quick tutorial on how to dial a clean DI tone? For very clean guitar parts you would find in a lot of djent songs? (satellites by periphery for instance)

Amazing Work. Would like to know if there's a setting where I can separate the left and right guitar into two tracks? It seems like the vst is by default into 1 track with panned left and right. Sometimes I prefer to write different part for both left and right. Thank you for your reply. Just wonder if I open 2 instrument tracks and pan left and right inside daw, will it create phase issue?
You’d open guitar 1 solo’d on 1 track and guitar 2 solo’d on the other track :) You definitely don’t want to pan the pre-panned settings. The 1 and 2 presets are there for this reason.
When using the keyswitch for the new palm mute, it only plays one string? What am I doing wrong here my guy?
Maybe I'm missing it on the website but what the authorization process for this and how many installs are you allotted? I ask because I'm so close to making that purchase.
That would be cool if you sample extra natural harmonics on 1fret, 2fret, 2.1fret etc. And inbuilt pitch shifter that can be binded to midi cc would make it complete progressive midi thall guitar xd

How do you perform unison bends? It isn't a keyswitch, and there's no way to bend the strings individually, so that's an obvious 3.2 addition.
I bought it and I have been having hard time trying to put in midi what I do in the guitar (real guitar) is there a way or a easy work flow ? What I like to see is my press a string on a specific freer and see a key on the piano roll telling me where to write the midi so it triggers the string and freed where I want it. So basically my problem find the right key on piano roll that triggers a specific position. On my guitar

If I want to program a song with standard D tuning (6 string 1 step down), how will the sound be affected if for example: The low D note is fret 2 on the drop-C tuning VS the low D note being an open 6th string? I know a real guiatr player is not going to be playing that, but if the notes are tracked to a different tuning is it doing to affect the tone making it not realistic? I noticed that standard tuned down tunings are not available by default.
Yes, they would sound more like the fretted versions then, but after going through an amp and in the context of the mix, this difference would mostly vanish. The difference in pick, picking strength, pickup, etc.. will all have their own impact regardless.

What about actually TUNING it? Some of the samples are up to 30 cents off

@@SolemnTones just open any good tuner (Pod Farm for e.g.) and click through all the notes, especially lower ones
We already replaced down picking and up picking below F# in 3.1 because even Evertune doesn’t fully accomodate the attack going sharp while the sustain goes flat that low when picking insanely hard, but did not find other intonation issues. If you have examples of your issue in 3.1 still, please email us with details. We gladly address any issue in updates.
