As a Mainah I love to see every inch of Maine explored. I can tell you love the coast and with good reason, but at some point you got to come further inland, maybe all the way up to the Appalachian and be amazed again and again. Keep em coming.
Going to Ogunquit tomorrow for five days. Just now I finally learned how to pronounce it. Now I'll get back to watching the rest of the video since I know nothing else about the town either. Nothing like last-minute planning.
Have been visiting here a few times every year. Love the Sparhawk and Beachmere Hotels. Oarweed and Lobster Shack are my favorite Seafood Restaurants. THe Marginal Way is lovely and Perkins Cove is where you can catch a boat ride.
It feels like home when I'm there. We first discovered it when we accidentally found ourselves crossing the bridge after visiting Portsmouth and kept going, ending up driving through York (which has a different vibe but is still very cool) and came across Ogunquit. You can just park (once you find a space) and walk anywhere. Marginal Way has to be one of the greatest walking paths in the country. We just jump on it, as it's right next to the Sparhawk, where we stay each time. Can't wait to go back.
Maine is a favorite vacation destination for me and my folks! We’ve been coming here for many years! Love all the shops! Have you ever checked out the shop called The Sassy Olive? They’re known for their excellent olive oil. 🫒
Heading to Ogunquit next week for my birthday. Heard so many good things about it. Especially Perkin's Cove. On a side note Stephen King set parts of his novel The Stand in Ogunquit.
Beautiful place! Amazing! Congratulations for the video and for the beautiful State of Maine that I didn't know. Greetings from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Loved learning about that amazing town. Of course also got interested thanks to the original stand movie. Was really bummed to learn they didn't actually use the town for filming, was really wanting to see Frannies house 😢
Great Video! Ogunquit has been our annual getaway for many years now. One of my favorite restaurants is the Lobster Beach House right on Beach rd. We always stay at the Dunes on the water front. Looking forward to more from you .
at 3:28. You see the Front porch? Then a small building next to it? Loop, that house behind the other buliding is owned by a good family friend..that is where I stayed.
@@EMILYNICOLETOALAROSADO If you want to enjoy all it has to offer. June-October is best. After that things close for the winter. Still things to do, just limited. Of course the foliage season is nice
Lots of everything. Depending on where you go and the time of year. Maine's #1 revenue is tourism so lots of places along the coast. Many great restaurants too. Look at exploremainelife.com/
@@ExploreMaineLife Hmmm….maybe restaurants, Bangor city forest etc? We are moving to Hermon and have only been to Bangor twice so I’d appreciate whatever you could put together. You do a great job! I watch everything you put out.
What a fantastic tour!!! You're the best! very elegant narration, amazing town! thank you very much my friend!
TY for watching :)

Maine is the greatest place to vacation but don’t tell anyone 😮
It's a big place 😉
@@ExploreMaineLifeChicago people are overweight and will shrink the place.

Ogunquit; the east coast's answer to Guerneville..
Ogunquit is wonderful! We love going there. Spent St. Patrick's Day there this year: ua-cam.com/video/AedYX643eWE/v-deo.html
Nice. Such a fun town.
I’m a little confused. Is Perkins Cove in Ogunquit?
Yes it is. You can walk the Marginal Way from downtown to there. Beautiful walk.
Would you do Bangor, please? ❤❤❤
We are planning a trip up Rt 1 from Brunswick to Bar Harbor, then to Bangor down to Augusta during the spring. What do you suggest in Bangor?

Limited vocabulary….awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome!!! Give me a break !! 1:11
you talk about restaurants in the town, but don't go in and show them
We typically do restaurants in their own video and as short form. Subscribe to be notified of new ones
