I started less than 3 months ago and I’m grateful for the growth. I hit 500 subscribers yesterday and it’s like I hit 5 million subscribers 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 I celebrate each and every subscriber.I believe consistency is key, I upload at least 2 videos a week. Let’s do this fam🥰

You are absolutely lovely and I am so happy that I found you. I am 57 years old and I kept talking myself out of creating a channel because I thought it was for younger ladies. I often wonder if anyone is feeling like me and wants to create for the older ladies. Last week I took the first steps and created a UA-cam channel, website, and Etsy shop. I am all in for 2024.

I believe everyone should have a cozy home and I will be sharing projects for viewers to enhance their homes both inside and out. I want to do these projects on a budget by using second-hand items to inspire repurposing and recycling.
@@cristina_aida1 The theme of my channel to is show people that they can have a beautiful, cozy home on any budget. I am really going to emphasize styling a home using only second-hand treasures, redesigning, and recycling.

This is awesome. I mean, I am just a small content creator and I work really hard (I also use a little bit of famester, but I think that is a necessity nowadays). It works like when I post something, I give all my content small initial dose of views and likes, and that caused them to spread literally everywhere, bringing more and more organic views day after day.

You are such an inspiration, I'm on 112 subs started my channel on the 10 July 2023 and I'm trying my level best to push however it is overwhelming and discouraging at times.

You're already there all that is missing must be the consistency, I wonder if the most recent video I made hits at some of the main challenges with consistency and can support you. Please update me when you set a schedule ( 2 videos a month to start.. then 3... then 1 a week! ) that should be enough seeing the time you put into each video and the topics you share knowledge in.

I started at 40 too, and definitely thought I was “too old” and would even put myself down by constantly saying it when sharing that I started my channel with others and eventually discouraged myself enough that I stopped…

It's all perception, I think your video quality is great! I'm just using my iPhone and the other gear ( ring light + tripod) are not fancy lol I link them in the description. I actually edited this video with a free editor app on my phone, only bought adobe premier this Monday :) You're perfect as you are brother and I'm excited for your continued growth. I have a ways to go as well only aiming for 1% better with each video in the intention, message, clarity, editing, etc.

Beautiful Julie, you sound like you have an awareness here. The reasons we give ourselves for not doing it is our brain trying to keep us from venturing into the unknown and expanding. If you can commit to 1x a week gorgeous, if it feels like too much stress start with every other week for a month and work up to it :) you know best

such facts! I also struggled for years, I was first inspired 3 years ago but couldn't figure it out so I only took action now. Honestly I only became very clear about it in December because I focused on " How can I serve other with value" + " What am I passionate about" and removed judgement. If I were you I'd start with shorts so you dedicate less time and can figure out what you're inspired by because it can change :)

I definitely been ready to start mine last year I pushed out 3 videos and they would not get views it was a little disappointing. So I been creating shorts and some of them do really good which has help me gain subscribers up to 89 so far which I am so blessed for them. But I’m ready to try long content again. Love this I’m kinda been wanting someone who is in the same position as me to speak up instead of the ones with all the subscribers. I know we all start somewhere but I wanted a supportive community.

Just subbed! ❤Here's to uploading 1-2 long-form pieces of content every week and working on my startup which is currently manifested as a Chrome extension on the Google Web Store. Will be sharing that startup journey on my channel also. I ditched my other channel with 20k subs and starting from scratch (9 subs at the mo 😢). I love this! Accountability is so important. I went on a wellness retreat last March where I befriended this woman that wanted to relaunch her podcast, I wanted to relaunch my youtube channel, so we became each other's accountability partners. We jump on a phone call once a week and talk about ideas and progress and motivation. Now I'm back on youtube and she's prepping to launch her first podcast episode. It's such a beautiful and empowering relationship. I'm glad youre doing this cause not everyone has access to an accountability partner that can take the time to actually be there for you.

The beginning is a challenge, I started at some point last year and completely fell off because I didn't understand my "Why" so I shared the importance of that in Ep 2 in case that is helpful to you. But I see you are just at the start, you have beautiful energy! Just outline a sustainable cadence to start and do not put too much pressure on yourself. I'm already so impressed with how much you fit into a vlog!
