Haven’t they always it’s not unique to the U.S.A. I live in the U.K. and we have the same mentality amongst our government and our security forces are hopeless. Of course if anyone ever questions them when they get it wrong and innocent people die they use the it was in the public interest excuse. They always claim to have information that we don’t but then tell us it would be a security threat to tell us what so they never have to be accountable for anything.

Graeme Craddock, a devout follower of David Koresh to this day, says he witnessed a member pouring gas in the chapel and heard a member yell, “light the fire”, on the floor above him. Graeme’s firsthand account speaks volumes, as he’s not a disgruntled ex follower with disdain for the cult. He’s still believing David will return as the son of God. This devout, individual would have zero reason to lie.
But he also said that they themselves were not suicidal, and to his knowledge there was no plan to kill themselves. Other survivors say Molotovs were being made to fight against the tanks. David Thibodeau was also in the chapel and he says this didn't happen. Thibodeau also still thinks highly of Koresh.
It's possible that the Davidians started the fire, but the FBI has lied so much about what happened that day I have a hard time believing it.
The children were the pawns in all of this.Shame on the lot of them.

A couple things to concider. One is there is thermal video of the ATF attacking first. Two is there are reports that the heavy equipment used to breach the compound had a flame thrower that started the compound on fire. Don't forget the authorities had a mile radius where they wouldn't allow anyone including news crews access.

They should have flooded the compound with fire trucks and hoses hooked up to several mains. A fire hose can be absolutely demoralizing and blow down doors and windows. Water can be an absolute devastating force. Especially if it is cold.

Great question. I believe that like so many other "cults" in history, the c. I. A. had their fingers all over this.
The Davidians owned several local businesses including the "Mag Bag" which sold guns at gun shows. Wayne Martin(Koresh's lawyer and a Davidian) also had a law practice in Waco. The compound was built from cottages they owned and dismantled them for the building materials. The building had no A/C, heat, or running water.
Koresh had a really bad childhood(extremely bullied and even sexually assaulted) and didn't come from wealth. Not excusing his actions, but the guy was the way he was for a reason.
God didn't sacrifice anything! David Koresh sacrificed them!

Koresh was a monster; he had every opportunity to release children and women; some of which he committed sex crimes with. I believe he had over 50 days to conform. He was under investigation for illegal weapons and explosive devices. Think about that for a moment; all of these children and all of these weapons/explosives in the same compound?!? Also, ATF is referred to as ATF vice the ATF. ATF lost four agents; the FBI assumed control and, ultimately, resulted in the burning of the compound. I don't believe that ATF's goal was to do anything other than to retrieve the illegal devices and stop any further wrong-doings. To this day, I do not understand why the FBI attacked the compound. At the end of the day, Koresh is to blame for this horrible event.
