You can substitute the eggs with condensed milk. 1/4 cup for 1 egg. If you are using sweetened condensed milk you could skip adding sugar. Beat the condensed milk with the butter till it turns light and pale. At the end you could use a little milk to adjust the consistency if you need.

I’m making this AND it’s cooked on the outside and the inside has been cooking for waaaay over an hour! And ohhhh my goodness it’s risen like CRAZY!!!!! Your video shows you pouring batter into another baking pan yet when you pull it out of the oven and cut it the it’s a LOAF PAN??????😢
Sharon if you have followed my written recipe you will see that I have used a 5”x9” loaf pan and not a regular size loaf pan. In fact, I did make a mistake when saying the size of the cake pan in the video (which is a really big size cake tray 9”x13”) but I did correct myself in the written recipe. I did mention there that I made a mistake in the video. May be you should take a look at the written recipe as well. Everyone ovens are different and hence you cannot just follow the time you have to check if a toothpick inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean. I don’t understand how you can say that the loaf pan looks different when it is the same cake that I put in and took out of the oven. I suggest you take a second look at my video.

Difference between pound cake and sponge cake
Sponge cake does contain any fat (butter) in it. While pound cake has pounds of butter in it😊
