🖤 The Chocolate Trifle dessert cups I got in Dollar Tree.

🖤 My Mocha Brownie Trifle Recipe:
1 Box of Brownies (prepared and crumbled)
1 Box of Chocolate Pudding (prepared)
1 or 2 Tsp of Instant Espresso Powder or Instant Coffee (you can do more/less depending on your preference)
1 8 oz container of Cool Whip
( Dairy Free Version: You can substitute Almond Milk in the Pudding and So Delicious Coco Whip instead of Cool Whip)
The Instant Espresso or Coffee Powder I just mix in with the milk and pudding mix.
Then do 1 layer of brownie crumbles, 1 layer of pudding, 1 layer of cool whip and then repeat.
You can make this in a trifle bowl or in individual serving cups and it looks and tastes so yummy.
🖤 For the Fruit Trifles:
1 Pound Cake (crumbled)
1 Box of Vanilla Pudding (prepared)
Fruit of your choice:
Berries like strawberries and blueberries work great, canned peaches are also really yummy
Cool Whip
Layer the cake, pudding and fruit and top with whipped topping.
Only 2 minutes in and this is fantastic advice. Very valuable. Place, people, price - love it!!
I started planning my son’s graduation the day after my daughter graduated LAST year! I made the banners and shopped for the color coordinated tablecloths and accessories ,etc. ( His college is the yellowjackets so I did a yellow ,white and black theme with the cute bees from Hobby Lobby and homemade beeskeps). I also took notes on menu ideas and what worked and didn’t work. My son scoffed at me because it was a year away but you know what? He graduated last month and everything went off without a hitch. Starting to plan my last daughters nursing graduation in 2 years lol! Never too early to start😀😀
Hi Kristen! Great job on the graduation parties! Early planning really is key to making things go more smoothly and I probably could have avoided most issues if I'd put it together sooner. I did my in laws 40th anniversary and I went through something similar. I planned an awesome outdoor event and completely had to change venue indoors 3 days before because tornado weather was predicted. It was also an holiday weekend so finding a venue last minute would be a challenge as well. Fortunately it I do party planning i was able to completely redo the whole scheme because of experience and inventory I collected over the years. In the end the guest always think your event is more of success than you if they are well fed and the atmosphere is fun and entertaining.
Wow! That definitely worked out that you do party planning and had supplies on hand! I'm sure they had a wonderful anniversary party!
And I think you're right ~ we are always hardest on ourselves and often guests are just enjoying a nice time 😊 That's definitely something to keep in mind to making hosting less a little bit less stressful!
I can so relate to this!!! Murphy's Law!! That's when I walk away....take a few deep breaths....say a quick prayer...roll up the sleeves and try something else. My oldest daughter (35) is getting married in November. No problem...we were hoping for spring of 2020 but....about 6 months ago she was diagnosed with cancer to her kidney. A few weeks ago, she found out it has spread to other kidney and possibly liver. So! November it is! My sister and other 2 daughters are planning a bridal shower for her in October. We're going with sunflowers and navy blue polka dots. Her wedding colors are navy blue, burgundy, and blush. So, I've ordered navy blue tablecloths that will be used for both events. Note to self: take them to cleaners right after shower! Let the stress begin. Side note...I do my best work under pressure. As it is, I work a full time job as well as a part-time (Mon - Fri 7 am to 10 pm) and attend school full time online. Jesus take the wheel. Absolutely loved your event.

My, what I wouldn't give to have your kind of "disasters", instead of mine. I didn't know life could be this easy for some people. Perhaps you are not sharing the real hard stuff in life, and why would you. As ever, I love what you created. The idea of getting a photo frame with a nice piece of paper in it, to be your tray, was definitely paying off. Would love it, if you could also teach us to make those delicious desserts and pastry that you make. You are really inspirational and we even learn from you sharing, what could have gone better. It's really helpful and fun tho! I like to get the cake a few days in advance (and pray I have room in the fridge) so if something is wrong, they can fix it. I think I learned that in one of your first videos I watched (a mermaid colored party -maybe?) Also- I am most comfortable with about 20 ppl max so 50 is WOW! I need all your tips and tricks! Thanks! Kiddy pools with a liner would work for cooler for drinks you could get some cinder blocks to make it 2 tiered because kiddy pools come in a couple of sizes but you gave awesome tips
That's a great idea!! I've seen those before and they look really cool!! Since we ended up buying the larger cooler, we decided we would store extra party supplies in it during the year to make it a little more functional at least 😍❤️🤗
@@StyleMySweets I see where a larger cooler would make more sense and it depends a great deal what kind of party you are having. The biggest event I did was my daughters reception and we had it in TX after the kids dad died and when really didnt know anyone but we managed to invite folks we didnt know and gave the rest of the wedding cake to some little kids peeking in the rental office where we held it but all in all I wanted her to have the wedding and reception I didn't get, and the marriage didnt last 6 months lol...It kept me occupied and busy..

How many of each dessert did you put out for 50 people?
I’m trying to do my own sweet table for 50
If you're doing a cake then plan to have 2 or 3 other pieces of dessert per person. I think I did approx 3, so that was 150 total pieces which could include candies, mini trifle cup desserts, fruit cups, cookies... just have a total of 2 or 3 pieces per person in addition to the cake. If not cake, plan on 4 or 5 small pieces per person. This is will give you a nice assortment but probably leave you with a few leftovers as well. Hope that helps! Good luck with your party!! ❤️
