Hi guys welcome to aclaireytale!!! It's a very special day, it's my Mum and Dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary! I film everything we get up to for their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Hope you enjoy it!!
We go out in the morning to pick up balloons and a cake. We have a lovely meal at The Barn at Moor Hall and then surprise them with a garden party!

Aw, Bless them both. 50 years together is such a milestone. They look beautiful now and then. Chris does look like his Dad back then. And Jaylen-Rae is getting so tall and such a helper. My parents were married for over 66 years. So rare now a day. Am looking forward to the day when you can visit Walmart again. Thank you so much for sharing. Take good care. These kinds of videos should have way more views than newlyweds, shows the dysfunctionality of society and how lost we are and swept up in the romanticism of 'the wedding day' when really the achievement is staying the journey and moving through the motions of life together. Day 0 I would have just sent my well wishes and nothing more but crossing this huge milestone I can actually say is an achievement and congratulations is deserved here.

OMG Claire you almost gave me a heart attack... when you said you dropped off the cake all I heard first was “you dropped” and my heart stated pulsating and my mouth dropped and then I heard you say you dropped it off 😂😂😂😂... lovely day for them.... I would have left that restaurant starving if I had eaten what your parents and brother had eaten as well as gone into debt lol...noooooo not the champagne bottle 😂😂😂😂...table and cake look gorgeous... I know they were super impressed ... congrats to your parents on 50 years ... that was such a cute thing about saving the top layer for when your baby is firstborn… Here in the US they take the top layer and wrap it up really well and store in the freezer and then take it out on their first anniversary and eat it... oh btw your niece has gotten soooo big... jaylin ray or Rae lol still looks the same lol... good job Claire

Isabelle joined me for this one and loved it. Her eyes lit up when she saw the cake. Your nephew is so cute mistaking Hallmark for Walmart. Don’t we all wish we were going there. 🤣 Lovely restaurant with very fancy food and Claire settles for sausage and mash. You’re so adventurous. 🤣🤣. The champagne bottle was lively and that was before you got the cork out. 🤣 Great surprise for them at your brother’s house and I loved your mum proudly talking about her dress, which bride still wouldn’t do that. Say thanks to mum and dad for letting you film such a personal family anniversary and congratulations to them both. ❤️
