My opinion (and I don't know the details of how bad the mod devs are) but if you are enjoying this mod, I don't see the harm in playing it. The fundraiser you did was amazing, and end of the day its a free mod; you are not directly supporting ideals you don't agree with. Either way, love your content, do what you enjoy and I'll watch :)
If you’ve never played Darkwood, you should try it out. That game and the LOTZ trilogy are my absolute favorite games of all time. It’s not like you have to record a video of it, just experiencing Darkwood for the first time is incredible. The vibe is immaculate in that game
I played Darkwood back in 2017. There was a poor injured dog outside that couldn't be saved so I killed it to end its suffering then felt bad and went to bed and never played since. I keep meaning to try it out though.

I freaking love the up down head bob without the crazy side to side. I made my own mod awhile back that looked like this but it was snappy and binary in feel. This looks really good and I doubt most people are turning head bob off as in the past.
You mentioned Radiophobia at the end, it has been one of my favourite mods recently. It's great to go back to the ShOC story, it's also stable and makes it feel 'modern'. Highly recommend it these days.
Hey man, you should try SOC: Update 1 (i dont know the exact version as of now) it basically remasters all of Shadow of Chernobyl to good graphics and makes the engine way smoother and less bugy. The weapons are also overhauled to be like those of BAS and anomaly. It is in russian, but there is an english patch. I tried it and its fun!
Question: the goal of 1K was reached and with a lot of days left, so, if you set the goal for 2K you will continue with this series? Because is amazing the way you are playing it
There's heaps of addons that have come out for GAMMA that bring it more in line with visuals from CUSTOM (especially Emergent Zone LUTs, updated SSS, and Atmospherics + CUSTOM's weather thats on the mod-posting page - seriously unreal).
ive been playing the EFP mod recently, (cause its potato friendly) like a lot 6-9 hours a day, every day, for 2-3 weeks now hehe, but every time i hear CHEEKI BREEKI i always think about you haha.
Cheeki you should definitely try the IWP mod for Call of Chernobyl, it’s a more classic side of stalker but it doesn’t have overtly tedious mechanics and micromanaging. It certainly is my cup of tea and I very much prefer it over gamma and anomaly offshoots!
I usually listen to the AI talk and whatnot but one time I heard one tell a joke and the other just says GLASS and laughs hysterically like I don't know anyone else
In Custom, you better sell all mutant parts to Buther, rather than save them for missions. He pays very well for them, and making money early on is more important than getting minor goodwill.
Not a knock against you, but I can't stand this tendency for 'darkweb' publishing through Discord. As if the internet weren't eating itself enough already with algo directed suggested search results, but now half of the content out there only exists in little ephemeral holes that are one community guidelines snitch away from evaporating entirely. I appreciate you bringing this stuff to attention. Just airing my grievances.
You're preaching to the choir here, I absolutely despise discord and spend as little time as I can on it (probably what got me into this mess ahahh). I keep all the install files for the mods I like and cover on the channel tho; especially the story-based ones. So in 20 years when 99% of them will have disappeared, maybe we can revive them (on a good old website!)
@@NIL0S They fixed (reduced) mutant spawns since then. But yeah, R3 was pure pain like a year ago when I first played it. I recall rage quitting in Wild Territory because I had three Chimeras on me and unloading a shotgun into them did nothing lol.

17:25 did Anomaly or did this mod remove the complete randomness of game reloads? It was one of the strong features of the game (the fact that even if you saved scum you couldn't prepare yourself for what would be present on reload).

Does your install guide for custom works for Hayzee's modpack ? Because their install guide is pretty much none existant for someone not used to modding anomaly.
I'll cover quickly HayZee install in next video but yeah it's super simple; Extract, launch MO2, make sure path to folders are good and thats it, exactly what they show in the pics on the discord

And then I did just extract the anomaly file like with gamma. And they do not explain how to setup MO2 and thankfully I remembered from gamma. I'm not saying the install guide is atrocious, it just lacks some specifics for total beginners.

It's amazing, especially since they patched it a couple of months ago to reduce mutant spawns and tone down the extreme/unnecessarily painful difficulty. Another recent patch did some engine upgrades too so loading time and performance are phenomenal now.

I would like to see you do a run in GAMMA as a mercenary starting in the main mercenary base. It does not need to be ironman.

I am missing the features as gamma has for example the zoom while u are aiming
But also missing the feature in gamma from efp as cratfing armor parts or disabling ones which u dont want to use

How can you open the skill menu?
Either K or J by default. From the MCM menu you can go to addons -> keybinds - > all keybinds and check them out there
Anomaly Custom is a great mod, one of the best ones I've seen so far, but you cannot play it for politics lol.
did you change any shader settings? The game looks too dark, at least for my taste
