  • Still on day 1 and the patterns are evolving, but not in the way I want them too. I'm getting bit and I'm getting the right bites, but it's all over the place. Hopefully I'll start dialing it in as practice continues.

    MY PROFILE:
I started fishing when I was just a young kid and instantly fell in love with Bass Fishing. Started fishing tournaments when I was in high school and have been fishing them ever since. For years I fished every tournament I could enter sometimes fishing as many as 45 tournaments a year. I qualified for the Elites when I was 30 but didn't have the sponsors or money to compete so I turned it down. Got sponsor support later and fished the FLW Tour for 2 years and having been fishing the Toyotas since 2006. I’ve won 5 Angler of the Year Titles becoming the only fishermen to have more than 3 AOYs in the Toyota series. Won numerous events along the way that has helped shape my way into working for Strike King as head of product innovation. Along the way, I picked up a camera and started filming my endeavors. I have now fallen in love with making videos about fishing and delivering it to you. Follow along the journey...it should be an honest and fun ride!

Realizing how "relatively" strong your pattern is, by seeing how tough it is everywhere else... this really resonated with me.
Ive made the mistake of thinking that even my so-so pattern was no good on a rough day. Then i find out that the winner had 5 bites and realize i may have had something real but i overlooked it.
Hearing u talk about this reaffirms what ive been thinking.

This is the best bass fishing channel out there besides your private channel Todd. That is if you are looking for real talk about bass fishing.

Thanks for the video. It is so great to see on the water video and someone who tells it like it is. No selling baits. Just the true fishing story of the day. Its like being in the boat with you. Thanks for taking us along. This never gets old.

Good stuff! With your schedule, I don't see how you find time to put this quality content up. Much appreciated!
No sales pitch, no drama, just good info! Thanks again.

I appreciate this comment more than any. I got so many guys asking for this and that. It’s pretty time consuming doing it this way so thank you

These videos are modern day Buck Perry juice. Is this like a quarterback watching film of himself in order to get better? When conditions are significantly different everyday like water level, light, wind, isn’t somewhat true you just need to go fishing each day with a pretty open mind? It seems you located areas with winning fish and were fishing with an open mind. Can’t wait to see and hear more!

Off subject was just wondering if you ever power shot. I live on brackish water and have been power shoting with blue crab imitators with some good success. Was wondering if you could do a vid on that sometime. This new series has been another great help. Keep doing these when possible I have really learned a lot from all 3. Thanks

I’m still watching blow ups shallow here on eufaula . Mostly in the small main lake nipples with rock transitions and inflow points tons of shad are on the bank

What's your ULTIMATE FROG ROD? I use a 7'9 heavy Abu Garcia Veritas. It's a massively powerful rod and the only downfall for me is I'M SHORT(5'7). Is it to much rod?

Wow thats a giant frog rod. Not sure what todd uses but for me and everyone i know 7'4 or less, heavy power with some tip. Im 6'1 and i like a 7'3 rod personally.

I live near "Lake Eufaula" between Georgia and Alabama. It's 46,000 acres but I already knew there were other lakes with the same name. Just sayin'.
