@@panfishin-fool8057 Crappie are crazy, but not pulling two dudes in a 14ft jon boat with two anchors down upstream in current crazy. Welcome to the fun.
Thank you for sharing about your doctor appointment at 7:00 a.m. and that you're still on the water at 1:00 a.m. A good example of the commitment it takes to be successful...at anything. Spencer I hope you are creating a great life for Ella and yourself.
I'm trying my best to. Thank you for taking the time to make note of that. I couldn't agree more. It helps to be a little crazy too I think. Or passionate. Not much difference haha
Your kayak videos are what got me into chasing flatheads in em. Glad to see the water levels are making a comeback there. Looking forward to more flatheads being caught in a piece of plastic.
Spencer!! How lovely to see you in the Kayak again. That last Flathead was what I call a Golly Whopper. Really nice to see ya gently going down the small creek So very relaxing. You stay safe and God bless you and yours!!😊😊😊😊
Loved it! Man, you are so blessed to be doing this! Fantastic video. Thanks for bringing us along! Wish I could send you bags of money. God bless all here!
Although I appreciate all types of fishing, the times you’re on your kayak are my absolute favorite. It feels similar to watching Jeremy Wade catch river monsters. Just a man on a remote creek or river tangling with monsters.
Man its amazing what small creeks can hold at different times of the day/evening. Both the flats and chans looked great. Love these vids on small creeks.
Definitely nerd to find yourself a couple light weight block and tackle that have the swing gates for ease of changing how many pulleys you need. Double pulleys be best, and most versatile for your needs. By light weight, I'm referring to weight of the mechanisms, and not the amount of actual weight they're rated for. Along with few short pieces of rope to anchor around whatever is handy, and one for connecting to the bow of your kayak to allow for any twist in the line on either end, and not between the blocks. Definitely make it thousand times easier to haul up and type of bank you have to go up or down. And you can even rig the anchor line so that once you've got everything down including yourself just pull on it the right way, and it releases it's from whatever it's attached to allowing you just to roll it up and secure it along with the rest in secure location place where it's not going to accidentally snag on some branch or such whenever you're maneuvering through obstacles that allow it. Nice ending for sure. When you going to take your winter fishing down to Texas, because I know that you're familiar with some of the bodies of water we have, and there's lot more you've only heard of from the time you spent here back in your adventurous days. Sure you'll find plenty of folks to guide, and tournaments shouldn't be a problem either if that's part of the requirements you're wanting. Where I'm located it's hour or so to five excellent lakes, many more within hour n half, and two hours several more on top of those. Call it 15 plus easily, and none of them anything to ignore as far as good selection of all three varieties. Baits usually never a problem if you know few farmers with nice live bait containers ready to be thinned out by good bit.
Super nice Flathead you got yourself there Spencer fishing this creek. Man, I'm just loving these creek fishing videos you've been putting out. Never a dull moment that's for sure. Congrats again on your dandy and thank you for sharing as always my friend.
Wore the channel rats out today in the Susquehanna here in MD. Not one under 10 pounds! Fun on a 7’ medium heavy spinning rod. Caught 36 in 4 hours!!! Striper season opens for us this Saturday. Love this time of year!!!
Since I don't swim it makes me nervous when you are moving around so much with a fish trying to pull you into the water. But it was fun too. Thank you again. Stay safe.
Just got my first flats of the year in Nebraska last night both bit on small bullheads, as soon as I took my creek chubs off weird fish. The first one bit as the bait hit the bottom always awesome when you get to feel it
One hell of a video my man this brings back some old school video action glad to see the rivers up and the big boys are on the move should help out the ecosystem pretty good 👍
Be safe when your by yourself! Couple people in my state, right around where I live, got capsized and need to be rescued because of the water and current.
Headed to the Mississippi river this weekend Dubuque area, my goal is to break the Wisc. state record of 74.51, but I'd be happy to catch one half that size. I'll be the guy with the river certified shirt, some really big fishing poles and a banjo. Playing songs like Catch me a catfish, Rollin a big flatty in my arms and Will the circle hook be unbroken.
Catching a large flathead from a small kayak at night seems scary. And portaging that steep bank equally impressive. Enjoying the video variety lately!
3:40 little bit before this he talks about not getting his hopes up was already won but 100 yards down river . His hopes went on 💯 😂 Man I hope I get it do that haha ! Gotta love the enthusiasm! Get um tiger 🐅!
Hey brother hope all is cool at the Doc's. Love your big water fishing but even more so the tight quarters stuff. When you get a minute check out my home river. The lower Deschutes river in central Oregon. Thanx man
Cool video dude. Neat little creek I don't think I've seen you fish it before but idk. Reminds me of the drainage ditches that criss cross SE Missouri. There's lots of nice fish in those, but it does require the putting up with the gar and drum and buffalo to get the kittys. Anyway, I enjoyed that one man and everytime I watch you kayak fishing smaller water I tell myself I have gotta get one of those things too! Lol✌️
man… you pulled out a dandy in the final hour … gave you a darn good fight in that kayak too 😂 and you looked dead tired 😅. good stuff 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 i think i love the deep creek fishing more than anything. i grew up fishin in those back creeks and canals in kentucky..and we pulled some monsters out of them. hope you make more vids in those creeks 👍🏼
How close do you think we are to them going on the nest and do you think water levels being back and forth will make a difference? It almost seems like my catfish bite just died in the last week or so.
I love watching Spencer. In a monkey see monkey do kind of way my flathead angling success rate has doubled since I started watching. River Certified is the best and I'll end up watching old videos tonight while gravel bar camping a small river.
Right in Spencer that was a real good ugly faced one 🤣 your enthusiasm speaks volumes 😂 you get pretty jacked when a plan comes together 👍sweet video man
For some reason your video's vanished from my feed. I saw tonight that you have been very busy back here in Iowa and it makes me happy to see you on home field! Hope there's lots more yo come Spenser.
Nice Yellow Cat!! Love Catching Them Myself. I’m planning a trip and my wife wants to video our catch. How did you setup your GoPro to video in the dark? She has GoPro 8. Thanks for any suggestions. Thank You for the video of your trip!!!
The Bob Ross of catfish fishing
Haha I dig it
Bro you're turning me into a kitty chaser 🤦🏾 I thought I was crappie crazy but after following you I'm starting to feel these cats🫡

This is the spencer we love and missed, small creek, small boat, big fish. Good stuff man
Your kayak videos are what got me into chasing flatheads in em. Glad to see the water levels are making a comeback there. Looking forward to more flatheads being caught in a piece of plastic.

I'm definitely gonna stay after them. Thanks a ton man!
I like it when your back in your kayak. That's why I started watching you four years ago. Stay safe out there man. Nice video
Thanks man. You do the same.

Big flathead in creeks is crazy! Really amazing content! That’s why we all love your channel, Spencer!!!
That’s what I call Super Awesome. Great Video Spencer
Great fish Spencer! Its good to see water flowing in Iowa again!
That might be one of the top 5 prettiest black crappie bait fish I have ever seen! Love them for bait
Glad it paned out Spencer, GREAT VIDEO!!!
Giant fish in a kayak adds to the excitement. Appreciate the videos
Thanks for filming dude. I lost my driving privileges two years ago and your videos have helped me maintain my sanity immensely.
Nice I'm glad you stayed longer. Persistence pays off !
Loved it! Man, you are so blessed to be doing this! Fantastic video. Thanks for bringing us along! Wish I could send you bags of money.

You got me wanting to go hit some creeks around my area.
Always love the flathead videos

Man, that's cool to think about. I really do love the adventure. I'm gonna go on a big one next week. Hopefully the weather cooperates.
Glad I watched till the end, which I always do. That was a nice fish man and even had me saying, don't loose that fish. Awesome video.
Grew up by the Racoon River in central Iowa & the flathead can grow to to sizes that amaze. Flat headers fishing at night all over the place.

10/10 recommend it. Its super peaceful and relaxing to float down the river. Just make sure your kayak has an elevated seat. Thanks a ton Mark!

I have to say, small rivers and creeks are my favorite. That particular one sure has some good flow for not having any kind of significant water.

Haven’t seen a creek video in a while. Need more of those again!
