Okay 2 things in the first game, you asked about sky striker, it isn't a new deck but it was formerly the best deck in the game and then got some of its cards limited, it is still really good though and you are right they just got some new cards on masterduel, generally sky striker is just about using their spells and there is a couple ways u can play around them if u know which ones they have but its pretty resilient to handtraps. Also about Driver and Ash Blossom, Yugioh is a game about rule lawyering and "erm, technically" type interactions, Driver isn't once per turn on the card so even though you can negate it with ash blossom in one chain, if they opponent uses another card like they did, you can just use it again because the idea of the card is it summons itself so u cant use it again. You need to calm down and read your opponent cards There is no need to rush Don't just activate your cards because they are shiny It's not a problem to wait and see what the opponent is doing first Remember reading is half the battle

They mostly out-grind you in resource management and card advantage. If you can stop them from getting a sky striker main deck monster, they don’t do anything. Strikers may be the most fundamental and simple yugioh deck. They also can’t do anything if they have a card in the main monster zone. They can easily OTK you if they go second. Stop engage, or the red and blue one if they had access to a monster. No access to Raye or Roze means they have zero plays. They also are SUPER weak to Maxx C. They can easily play around the card, but if they’re ever vulnerable to it. Slam down Maxx C. You should’ve done it when you triggered Raye’s GY effect.

The cookie-cutter Sky-striker summoning order: Raye>Hayate attack direct and to dump a card into GY>Link summon Hayate into Kagari to recover Spell card from GY>Link Summon Kagari into Shizuku to draw a Spell at the end of turn. If you use Maxx C right, you get a lot of value out of this. Also If you banish Raye then the deck will struggle a lot if you clear their board.
Sky Striker originally debuted in 2019 on the Dark Saviors set and has received several waves of support since. The last master duel pack ported some of the support which boosted the consistency overall.
sky striker is hard to interrupt if it has good hand cuz most of those cards are not once per turn. But it's very weak against GY vanish interruption. Also itself don't have much interruptions. Skystriker cards are mostly board breakers
16:08 Remember that Lightning Storm does not have the same effect as Raigeki. Lightning Storm only destroy monsters in attack position so in 17:00 you should have summoned Utgarda in defense position in case the opponent had choosen the destroy monsters effect.

Yep! I will expand to other card games in the future once I establish a “culture” on the channel lol. I want to go through MTG, pokemon, marvel snap etc. if it’s a card game you’ll eventually see it in some shape or form.
I think you really could use the 2 shuffler cards in your deck....Keldo and Mudora would give you the ability to recycle cards from your grave back into your deck. Meaning you can recycle Runick Fountain whenever you want. When Keldo or Mudora hit the field you can activate their effect to send 3 cards from grave back to deck, recycling fountain, then you use a runick card to summon Hugin, and put fountain back into play so you can keep drawing more cards. Keldo and Mudora can also be activated from grave so if you can get either attached as XYZ material, you can just detach to send them to grave and their ability is now live. Super powerful cards that I think synergize well with your deck. They can be used defensively to pull resources out of you opponents graveyard instead, pulling out key resources can be super helpful in the grind game. You can also use shufflers offensively, say you activate maxx c and they chain called by, if you chain link 3 and shuffle back your own maxx c, called by wont have anything to target and fizzle forcing maxx c through.
In that last duel you could have started with tip to get the field spell Then activated flashing fire to destroy the negate Then draw 2 with the runick field spell Then normal summon loptr for mardel and get the genraider field spell without getting negated But what you did wasn't wrong I personally would have summoned vala with loptr to bait the negate Then used world legacy monstrosity to get mardel for the field spell But whatever

He means Gamma not Driver. Normal monsters don’t have effects. Also you should be playing Omega if you’re going to play the Gamma package.

The issue is they fuck you with the magic cards that field wipe you when there's no monster card on their side of the field it's a constant cycle

Coming from someone in M1 with sky striker just slow down and watch the widow anchors bc they’re used mainly to climb for game

And hand traps? They mainly use hand traps since it’s a small ss engine so idk about don’t have much interruptions

I love Sky Strikers. One of my favorite decks in the game. It is a very tough deck to ourgrind if you dont know what you need to play around.
