This was written after seeing Incredibles 2. It really lived up to expectations And I wanted to write something about it spoiler free. The movie was,as expected, just as good as the first one. There was a perfect blend of action and humor as well as the parrs juggling their super lives with their civilian lives, there was even some unexpected curse words but nothing too bad just the h word d word and c word. Overall it was an incredible sequel to an incredible movie(see what I did there😄?) Anyway I highly recommend seeing it, you will not regret it.

@Wubb. Yah they throw curse words in kids movies probably to cater to adults. If you're referring to Shrek then yah the 1st Shrek had it BUT wouldn't consider Shrek 1 as "nowadays" as it came out in 2001.

I love the Incredibles!! It was released the same year I was born and I remember watching it ALL the time. It's one of the All-Time Greatest Animated Superhero Movies EVER!!

It was disappointing. The villains motive was poor. There were quite a few plot points that were undeveloped, like the pseudo-supers, Voyd could've been a more important character if they left out Reflux or He-lectrix etc, also the Ambassador was a nothing character, and the Underminer had no conclusion. But the humour, action, music and overall execution by Brad Bird makes the film great, incredible in fact. It was so enjoyable to watch in the cinema, that it's so easy to ignore the failing points.

Crazy how they projected 100 million opening and on release it nearly doubled that number with 183 million. Worldwide it made 1.2 BILLION. The movie was fantastic and deserved every penny

Couldn't watch the rest of the video, Bird stated development for this film started in 2010. His story as you said "remains unchanged, minus the villain role" the #metoo movement is new thing and has nothing to do with this film. The Par family has always been a Team of Super's that work together. Bob's reason for working alone changed by the end of the First Movie. Helen is selected because She isn't a Big Risk like Mr Incredible. He kind of makes a Mess and it's funny. You know because He breaks things. Anyway if they make a third film it will probably center around the Super Siblings. Still you guys are laying the social commentary a little thick and don't understand the Incredible family at all. Should be called 105 Facts, since the other stuff was fabricated... For Shame.

3018 here, Incredibles 112 was so good! I binge watched all 111 before this one. It took me 11 and a half days straight to do so. Don't worry, sleep is no longer a problem in this day and age, we don't even need sunlight (especially with the ship's ability to mimic natural UV light and vitamin D). Thanks, BnL!

Did anyone else hate how when the first trailer came out all the misogynist trolls were hating on it because elastigirl was now the main character? I thought that was disgusting - but the movie was absolutely incredible and it shouldn't matter whether the female was the lead role or not.

i really loved incredibles 2 and it was definitely worth the wait! i would really like to see another movie especially with a prequel going through the experiences that Bob and Helen had when Dash and Violet were babies! I think that'd be amazing!!
It would be pretty cool to see an Incredibles prequel that takes place during the glory days and we get to see all of the original super heroes like Gazerbeam in their prime and have the Underminer and Bomb Voyage as the main antagonists

Loved incredibles 1 & just watched incredibles 2 today. Love it. So funny & cute. Jack Jack is my favorite character, he is so cute & funny little monster baby. Love when he goes in rage mode, he's so funny. His obsessions with cookies though, great plot twist at the end. The incredibles still won & made it through though in the end. . Loved it.

Saw it opening night and what I noticed was all the young adults my age. We were all 6 when the first Incredibles came out and now we are 14 years older. It was almost seamless. Effortless, even, pardon my pun, INCREDIBLE.

I wish they could have found a way around it, most 3D animated kids shows and movies where a character has the same "power" as the villain have been able to find ways around adding a strobe light effect and still made it look good. I just feels like they didn't care and weren't going to care until people started getting mad. I hope they think about people who are photo sensitive next time when making a movie otherwise I will be dropping them.

i love how the family dynamic's changed and the logic behind it. remember, bob had just lost his job at the beginning of the movie, and he seems to do terribly on keeping a normal job. so it makes sense that his wife would get a 'job,' since she has to be the one to hold a stable job at this point.
