If the game is 100% realistic then the helicopter is break apart while land because of rotor overtorque

@@justacook6858 Ever since Arma 2 went offline there has been a hole in my heart. That game created so many funny ass memories with how jank it could be, and also all the different gametypes/servers. Arma 3 never did it for me.
I ran a regiment called the SOT(Special operations task force) Raiders and my two best heli pilots were a kid named Frog and a guy called Canadian Dimebag, we just called him Dimebag. Both could park a heli wherever you needed with any issues and could evade rickets like nobody's business

Bad Company had really bad helicopter controls, but BF3 and 4 was where I could do some wacky shit with Little Bird.
Keeping the utility chipper alive through an entire match was a mark of accomplishment. Good times
Mine was battlefield 4. I got pretty competent with the littlebird and Blackhawk helos in that one. I put in a lot of practice time on the armory island.

About an hr of training, and setting adjustments. Flying the choppers are pretty easy in Squad.
The games pretty epic, the zip,ping,crackle,whoosh of bullets going by your head is exhilarating.
By not being bad at the game. You should try it sometime. 🎉

Last time I saw a pilot land a blackhawk like that they sheared the tail section from the aircraft and we had to guard it for three days while NTSB did their investigation.
Ever seen the Main Rotor blades cut into the tail rotor driveshaft before? Fun times

If that were arma, warthunder or dcs his helicopter would’ve not taken off again… not really a good landing, but the maneuver it’s self was good. He definitely took damage from that, but squads helicopters are pretty tanky. He should’ve increased throttle after the maneuver to avoid smashing into the ground like that…
That landing was rough, but the LZ was hot and no cover. We can replace the gear later after we escape the hot zone.

Honestly my hands down favorite game ATM, won't regret it.
Just takes time to understand the game but once you do it's all exciting
I mostly play flight Sims, but I'll be coming over to Squad soon. It bothered be that 90% of the pilots suck ass. If you find a helo pilot on your server that doesn't crash every 10 seconds and puts you where you need to be, it'll probably be me

I’ve only been doing flying in most game so am more better than flying that shooting a real gun but I don’t feel like playing it cuz I can’t get my mic to work and it’s annoying so that’s why I don’t think I can really play cuz all I see is people talking and I can’t cuz of my mic not working for some reason
If you mostly play flight sims, be prepared for a control system that is the opposite of a flight sim.
I'm a flight Sim guy too (and real world fixed wing pilot) and it's been fun getting into squad helis! Sometime people are surprised at just basic smooth and proficient flying and a pilot that doesn't crash every 10 mins haha!
On many servers you have to earn people's trust to even have then get in - too many packed heli crashes lol
Yeah that epic tail strike sells it. Bending the airframe and making it unflyable is the best.
Besides more skilled pilots, mabey one day they can fix hitboxes with bullet registration?

I once knew a phenomenal heli pilot. Spent more than 4 years with him piloting in the middle east. Kudos to you, CPT G***e. Commonly pulled risky maneuvers, but always pulled it out clean.
It's all fun and games until the proximity fuse high explosive ammo comes out.

If there is a map with helos, I immediately make an infantry squad that only uses helos for transport. We get there faster with supplies and can move position whenever, even under fire most times. The best part is the helo pilot loves it and finally gets to fly like they want. Full helo in the hear of battle.

We had a medivac pilot do this while we were under fire. One of the most impressive things I've ever seen
God I remember my Arma 3 wasteland days. If you weren't flying so goddamn low you can tickle your toes with the grass blades you ain't flying low enough
i been flying helicopters in games since operation flashpoint, not sure what flying in squad is like but this is some good manoeuvring.
Also i can confirm that most helli pilotes do listen to smoke on the water and love compliments.
So please, if your pilot is skilled, don't forget to act impressed! give them some positive reinforcement! we get way to much flack for things out of our control.
