The older I get the less foundation I like, so concealers are perfect. I absolutely trust you for reviews. Thanks for doing this! XO love from Michigan.
I have really dark circles under my eyes and I use NYX Professional Makeup Can't Stop Won't Stop Full Coverage Concealer, 24Hr. The key is to leave the concealer on for about 1 mn let it sit then blend it. That is the holy grail of coverage. I love it! My tone is light creamy skin. I wear the color Vanilla. The makeup I wear is Revlon Colorstay 24 hrs in 150 Buff. This foundation is awesome too. They are at Wallmart and are not expensive
I just tried the Lancôme one and I’m obsessed. It’s sooo good for my 45yr old under eyes. Thank you for all the years, I’ve been watching you since the start. :)
@@okok-uc8hiabsolutely! Im glad I finally gave something new a chance because my wrinkles are sooo much less noticeable, I feel younger using less product and something so light weight yet with such good coverage.
I do like the Lancome concealer, but my fav holy grail is the Wet and Wild Incognito concealer, its super cheap and so great, I am 54, with dark circles, dry under eyes 💖
Umm them glasses! 🔥We need a video on how you do your makeup with glasses! I may need to give up my contacts😢 and refuse to give up my love of eyeshadow looks.
Thank you for breaking down the formulas! I am a drugstore girlie, but I checked these $/oz and esp the Lancôme is very affordable given the quantity you get!
I really need to pick up both of the NYX ones! But can't get over how freaking gorgeous Marlena looks! You could wear anything on your skin and still look like a 10/10. The most important part of your makeup is the canvas it's put on. Having a good skincare routine, wearing your spf, it makes the products you put on top do their job better. The same with finding things that work for you, your skin and your routine.
My Lancome has lasted over 2 years and I've loved it. It works well with my late 40s, oily skin. I just ordered the Natasha to try something different and new. It is quite peachy and it does crease a little on me, but I need to practice more and be sure I'm using a super thin layer. I think I like the Lancome just a little bit more.
I have both. The Lancome is one of my HGs because it works well under my really dry under eyes with good coverage and doesn’t accentuate my fine lines. And it sets down on its own, which I love because I prefer not to use powder if I don’t have to! The NYX is hydrating and looks nice under my eyes, but it doesn’t set down like the Lancome so it does tend to settle some if I don’t set it so then I need to keep dabbing it out when it settles in my creases. So I prefer the Lancome over the NYX myself personally.
Please please please do a video on undereye powders. I have dry under eyes but I need to set my concealer or it will crease. How many of the powers that I’ve tried age me terribly when I smile.
Try the Moira set and correct powder, I have dry skin, it’s a completely invisible powder, it sets, blurs pores and does not look like your wearing powder, and it’s under $12, so it fairly affordable to try, without risking a lot of money. So far I’ve never heard a bad word about that powder, I think it’s amazing.
@@ladidaohoh3168 Omg thank you so much! I really appreciate your content! I’m going to try it! I really need something ASAP! Thank you! Edit: I just checked and there is a loose powder with 3 colors and a pressed one, which is the one you recommend?
I use the No 7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action Powder to set concealer. But my trick is that I only apply a little bit and only from the middle of my undereye toward me nose and up into the side of nose, inner eye corner area. It's so light and actually blurs under the eye. SO GOOD. Target carries it.
Nyx makes a nice one, but the one I use now is the Givenchy Prism in #3. Hands down the most beautiful and finely milled powder, especially under the eyes...and I am 66!
Thank you so much for this video. I sure do appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with each of these concealers. I’m 63 and needed one that doesn’t sit in the lines (wrinkles).😝 You sure did a great job and I know which one I’m going to get, it’s number 1 for me. Which brush did you use to apply this concealer? As always you look so beautiful and you look amazing wearing your glasses. 🥰
I'm 58 and love catrice concealer. Doesn't set into wrinkles as much as many others and also covers red spots. I've found with undereyes sometimes I just need a brightener, but can't use concealer over it.
Bobby brown corrector stick has been my holy grail for years. I’m curious about the dior concealer now. I was skeptical about getting Huda faux filter concealer and then I got their corrector too, the combo is just bomb. I’m in my 30s, live in a colder climate and my undereye circles are dry and really bad because I have deep set eyes (thanks mom 😂) and boy it has become my fav thing even replacing BB. I wear just the corrector with my skin tint blended on top for day to day and corrector with concealer for special occasions. I’m surprised you didn’t mention it, if you didn’t try it, i would look into it. Huda did a phenomenal job.
I’ve been using Dior Forever concealer for the past few years and I absolutely love it. I’m not a makeup person but when my under eyes started to show I went for Dior because I already was using Dior Forever Foundation (very lightly on my discoloured areas) which is great for my combination skin. I’m 49 by the way. I hope it helps.
I feel better after hearing your video. I bought the haus labs after hearing such amazing things about it and didn’t love it for my undereyes and felt like maybe I was a weirdo for not liking it. I now see you don’t recommend it as your number one for dry skin. I’m a dry skin gal so no wonder it didn’t work that great for me. I appreciate you going into how you apply these and in which areasof the face. Fantastic video. Thank you!!! I’m going to try the natasha denona.
I have to agree Natasha denona has one of the best concealers I've ever tried! I also love abh concealer too. My favorite drugstore brands is also the nyx serum concealer and the joah serum concealer
Totally agree with list...I am very surprised with Nyx....Wow..I have lines under my 65 yr old eyes and to find one that doesn't instantly cake up is rare for me...Glad I have a few you listed and may just need better color for me...Love to watch ya!!!!!
Thank you so much for trying these out. One of my go to’s is the Nyx as well. I tried the ND but it did not work for me. It creased pretty badly. My hands down favorite is the Catrice True Skin concealer. If you can find a shade, it is such an amazing concealer. It is full coverage but not cakey and looks beautiful under the eyes.
I like the Huda Faux Filter concealer. It's great for 47 year old eyes. It full coverage but it sheers out and builds if needed. I like the nyx too but I've got more to try now! Thanks for the info.
Marlena, you HAVE to try the Live Tinted hueskin concealer from Ulta. Based on your top rated picks, it will definitely make it into your top 3. The formula is buttery and full coverage with a natural finish and only $26. Their huestick color correctors are amazing as well.
The best concealer I've ever used and continue to use is the Sisley Phyto Cernes Eclat Eye Concealer - Cool Beige. The coverage is flawless and eliminates red. It doesn't sink into fine lines and wrinkles and is skin-like when applied. It's so good, I've been using this miracle in a tube for the past 5 years and I've never been disappointed. I always have a back-up at the ready.
I really like your videos. I learn a lot and you don’t make me feel. Dumb. Thanks for that. 😮 I’m 63 and just lost 50 pounds so I’ve started a new interest in makeup. Love you in Texas.
I love the Hourglass Vanish Airbrush concealer. I’m in my mid 40s and have very dry & dehydrated skin. I use a tiny amount of it under my eyes and it looks natural and doesn’t crease, even though I don’t set with powder. It lasts all day working in a very busy emergency department with having to contend with lots of sweating in PPE. I also have the Natasha Denona concealer and whilst it looks lovely when it’s first applied, it can’t stand up to wear during a shift and ends up creasing and splitting whether I wear it alone or with the lightest amount of powder to set it. There are a few others on the list I’d like to try, such as the Lancôme, Dior, Armani, NYX stick, and Estée Lauder ones
Hi Marlena: I just rewatched this video about concealers . I have always have had an issue with concealers on my 67 year old under eyes. Purple colouring , dryness, wrinkles etc. I just received my package from Natasha Denona, and I have been using it for about three days now, and hands down by far, this is my favourite concealer!! But as a Canadian 🇨🇦 consumer, it is up there in the price range. I paid about $46 🇨🇦. But it was truly worth it. I do have most of the others you mentioned, but I did like the doll10 concealer as well. The Natasha Denona is my Favourite!! Thank you for all you do!❤️😊🙋♀️🇨🇦
I love your videos! They are so informative that I feel like I am becoming a makeup guru in my 50s. Please keep on doing what you're doing. You are a beautiful woman!!
Thank you so much for this video! I’ve been struggling with under eye concealers, so I appreciate your in depth reviews and now have a great place to start finding my go to concealer! 💖
I cannot live without the Bobbi Brown corrector stick. My dark circles are no joke! My HG concealer was Bareminerals barepro serum liquid, so sad it's discontinued. I tried the dior, but wasn't right for me. I've tried a few others already, but I'll give some of these a try. Thanks!
I recently got the Tower 28 hydrating serum concealer and really like it. I'm 45 and my skin is suddenly dry. I'm going to get the Natasha Denona to try it too.
I’m really surprised NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer didn’t make the cut! Thanks for making this list, I’m going to try a couple that I would have never thought of before.
My favourite is the Lancome because it doesn't settle into my wrinkles. I'm very curious about the Natasha Denona - my next purchase? And the Nyx, that's surprising and at that price, yes please! Thank you for this great video!
I loved this video!! I love all the details, thank you!! Next video maybe how to choose the color of your concealer. Either I’m too light or the color is just off 😅
I bought that Lancôme concealer and I bought 2 higher end concealers around the same time (Dior and YSL) and I reached for the Lancôme one all the time. I’m ready to buy another one.
Tried a lot of them, but the one that works best to cover my bluish-tinted, under eye circles? Ulta color correcting concealer. The peachy colored one. Fantastic! And very affordable. 👍🏻♥️
I’m so happy to see the winner is the one I have and love. I need a lighter color though because the one I got when it came out was for my tanned skin and it’s too dark now.
I’ve only used my hy-glam concealer once. I’m trying to use up older ones. But I was wmpressed by how it went on and just get overall pigment and color. This has me excited to use it more.
Excellent video! ND is on my list to try it just goes to show how our skin and preferences are so different. My #1 now is Haus Labs. I tried to get the Lancôme to work so many times finally I gave up and trashed it😮. Dior is fantastic also and is in rotation. I used NARS for years until Haus Labs came along.
"finally I gave up and trashed it" OMG. Next time at least give it away to re-home it. Friends, family, neightbors, strangers (freecycle, facebook marketplace, craigslist) I would have taken it!
@@violetviolet888 I typically do give away, but I had it for over a year, kept forgetting about it and would retry periodically. It was already expired when I trashed it 😔
Hello Marlena, I like these types of videos and also the tutorials, I always learn from your experience. The concealer I use is Nyx's Bare with me and I love it for my skin, which is drier. Thank you for always making amazing videos. A hug from Chile 🥰
The search for better concealer coverage totally began my journey into better makeup for myself. I'm 57 and I've got SERIOUS dark circles under my eyes. Man, I thought they were dark when I was in my 20's!! I'm dying to get my hands on the Natasha Denona one, but was wondering what shade you wear. It'll help me gauge what shade would be best. Ulta is having their 21 day sale and it's in their lineup of sales!
Love the Lancôme and Bobbi Brown concealers and correctors. ND HyGlam and Haus Labs I tried but think my skin too oily. Will try the Nyx for purse. Great video!
Finally! For some reason those young ladies that are making videos about makeup and various makeup products feel they can't or shouldn't be wearing glasses in those videos even though they admit to wearing glasses fulltime otherwise. Your clearly a beautiful woman that just happens to need glasses. You wore you glasses throughout your whole video and simply inserted you applying the concealer with your glasses off. Very nicely done. Based on what I learned in y days as an optician working with a number of very attractive young ladies that nearly all of them were glasses wearers. Concealers were one of the main things in their makeup kits. When you wear glasses often or fulltime it results in under eye circles and even some darkness as well. Concealers work great in hiding those things, and some better than others of course. But Bravo to you for wearing your glasses and proving you can do makeup type videos wearing glasses.
Coming from a mature , dry under eye person I have found the Haus Labs just fab and glad to see it on your list. I have tried all but ND so that's on my list. Thank you, great rundown.
My favorite concealer that I’ve been wearing that won’t look thick and cakey but thin and full coverage and lasts all day is the Lancôme teint idole ultra wear all over concealer! I can’t wait to try the Natasha denona one!
Hey could you do a Video why concealers Look Patchy and what we Can do to avoid this, i personally have really dry skin but really strong undereyes, so I have to put few layers on, but have the problem that it looks afterwards really patchy and seperating. Hope you can help me🙏🏼🩵✨
I’m 63 and I love the Lancôme Tient idole. Gerorgio Armani. I don’t have dark circles. Only inner corner I need to try more. But the Nyx is bomb and even Catrice. My next one is going to be Dior
It cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye has been a game changer for me. It is extremely malleable and never completely "sets" meaning it doesn't settle into fine lines. It has killer coverage.
My favorite is the Dior concealer. So since we seem to have about the same under eye ”issues”: dry skin, dark circles, albeit that I am older than you, I will definitly try one or two of those three you placed above it! 😀
I refuse to use anything made in China, solely because there sanitation and safety standards are sadly lacking. Korean brands on the other hand are very well made and at least with the research, I've done no complaints on those issues. I will say that Marlena does a great job breaking these things down for everyone.
Pretty pleased that i have 5 out of your top 10 concealers! Love the nyx bare with me, Bobbi brown, Lancôme, Natasha denona and Nars soft matte all for different reasons :-)
Such a helpful, thorough review of these top concealers Marlena! I'll be 53 in weeks, and officially know i need that ND hy-glam concealer in my life!🔥🙏❤
Loved this video. I went on a concealer search in the past year - as my skin has matured (just hit the big 6-0) it is the one thing in makeup I still struggle with. I am totally with you on the NYX serum - and this year, my top two are Natasha Denona and Tower 28. Those have made it into my top 2 - and I realize now I reach for the Tower 28 the most. Serum like texture - medium/light medium coverage, and it creases the least of all that I have tried. ND is close. I think I may have to do a face off to see which is my real #1. Loved this subject and your rating criteria- two thumbs up!
Just came across this video looking for concealers. What a fantastic job you did! Very thorough and informative! Thank you so much for a wealth of information. Covering every detail of each concealer, bravo! I'm glad there were some full coverage brands, which is what I was looking for. I will try your #1 choice first. ❤
The Natasha Denona, Dior and Nars soft matte are what I am using the moment. I like full coverage and these three are great. I also like the Huda faux filter one which I used up, and the Pat mc grath concealers in terms of full coverage
Great picks! Natasha Denona is definitely top of this list . . . however I also got the Tower 28 one same time as ND and prefer Tower 28 a mild bit more! Another great one that is rivaling ND & Tower 28 for me is the new Rimmel one. Hard to find, but it's full coverage and stays well on both eyes & blemishes.
I love the Dior Forever one. But my favourite one is Lancome Teint Idole. I use it every day, a tiny bit and have not had any issues whatsoever. I want to try the YSL All Hours one. I heard great stuff about it, too.
I bought the N.D. in hopes it would be as good as everyone says, but for some reason it ends up creasing in me and looking cakey. I powder with the Givenchy loose powder which works great with my Huda Beauty but not with N.D. What am I doing wrong? I want to love it because it looks great initially.
The older I get the less foundation I like, so concealers are perfect. I absolutely trust you for reviews. Thanks for doing this! XO love from Michigan.

Thank you for this great video!
I've been using the Lancome one for years and just got Natasha Denona a month ago. Haven't pulled out the Lancome ones since 🤷
@@IndigooceanOrg thanks, I'll definitely buy it!
I loved this video!! I love all the details, thank you!!
Next video maybe how to choose the color of your concealer. Either I’m too light or the color is just off 😅
Have you tried the hourglass one???? I loveeee that one
I bought that Lancôme concealer and I bought 2 higher end concealers around the same time (Dior and YSL) and I reached for the Lancôme one all the time. I’m ready to buy another one.
I've been a lancome girl forever. So happy it made your top 2!
Every time I listen to your videos I learn something interesting. Great video thanks for the useful info.
I’ve only used my hy-glam concealer once. I’m trying to use up older ones. But I was wmpressed by how it went on and just get overall pigment and color. This has me excited to use it more.
Master of her craft !!!! Your look is stunning and your review is on point ...you help us make better buying decisions. Thanks ! :)
Yes!! I was pleasantly surprised by the nyx fix stick. I have the corrector
My favorite concealer is the it cosmetics one with the little blender brush on the cap. So good!
Could you please tell us where you got your glasses? They’re so cute 😍 and thanks so much for the lovely recommendations!
Great list! I’m 40 and very dry. I wear the Tarte maracuja creaseless concealer or the Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion longwear. I’ll try some of yours!
Love the way you explain make up!😊
Please do top 10 powder foundations for dry skin
Hope you can help me🙏🏼🩵✨
I've been loving your videos, i have learned a lot! thank you for sharing your amazing knowledge
I’m 63 and I love the Lancôme Tient idole. Gerorgio Armani. I don’t have dark circles. Only inner corner I need to try more. But the Nyx is bomb and even Catrice. My next one is going to be Dior
Your are the best educator on make up and how you describe in detail is brilliant u are amazing ❤
It would be really beneficial to showcase some cruelty free concealer choices
🙂.
Great content! The size of the Natasha Denona is half that of Lancôme (Lancôme is .43 ox and ND .25). That makes ND $60 for .5 ox. Oh my.
I'll be 53 in weeks, and officially know i need that ND hy-glam concealer in my life!🔥🙏❤
I love the Natasha and the nyx. No one mentions benefit boing but it is great too. And love him or hate him, the Jeffree Star is pretty creaseless too
Thank you for this I save some of your videos especially the best of .💖
Thank you for this, I've been looking for a new concealer and/or corrector!
Your skin is incredible Marlena ❤
Can't wait to try these, especially the NYX one!
My issue (age 50) is finding a concealer that plays nice with sunscreen 🤔 Love this channel!
Marlena thank you so much for all the information…ps you look stunning, your glasses are fabulous xPPx
Thank you Marlena! Excellent informative video!❤️
I've never seen such stunning glasses! Do you mind sharing where you got them from???
Just came across this video looking for concealers. What a fantastic job you did! Very thorough and informative! Thank you so much for a wealth of information. Covering every detail of each concealer, bravo! I'm glad there were some full coverage brands, which is what I was looking for. I will try your #1 choice first. ❤
Your #1 pick, Not surprised! It’s truly great! However recently I’ve gravitated more towards the new Fenty concealer, it’s a life changer! 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
We need more Marlena in glasses videos! 🤓
I love the Dior Forever one. But my favourite one is Lancome Teint Idole. I use it every day, a tiny bit and have not had any issues whatsoever. I want to try the YSL All Hours one. I heard great stuff about it, too.
You look so great with those glasses!
I bought the N.D. in hopes it would be as good as everyone says, but for some reason it ends up creasing in me and looking cakey. I powder with the Givenchy loose powder which works great with my Huda Beauty but not with N.D. What am I doing wrong? I want to love it because it looks great initially.
