I decided to see a dermatologist 3 years ago and had numerous microneedling procedures done. My scarring is 60% better now. My derm prescribed minocycline but I don’t want to rely on meds forever. I cut off my sugar and dairy intake in half and my never had a breakout since. Its going to get better believe me. Goodluck!

My hormones are okay just LH is high. I do have regular periods. I get about 3 to 4 painful cystic pimples each month on my cheeks a week before my cycle. They take quite some time to flatten out. It's been going on for 9 months so my face has accumulated pink / red hyperpigmentation marks. I have never dealt with acne before until now at 21. You are so brave and I thank you for letting us all who struggle with this know that we aren't alone :)
That’s a very pretty natural makeup, but I would like to share as an acne prone skin gal myself i used countless concealers high end and drugstore !most of them clogged my pores and caused more breakouts that i was done and stopped using them,I’m currently using nars soft matte complete concealer just to cover my breakouts and acne marks and so far I’m impressed it covers well and didn’t clog my pores and caused new pimples ,i heard from Dr vinita who is a dermatologist that fenty skin make up has talc and many other ingredients not suitable for acne prone skin I hope that fenty concealer doesn’t cause your skin to breakout
I relate to you in so many levels. I also have hormonal imbalance (umm not pcos). I get breakouts during my period and when i'm stressed. Thank you for opening up. I'd like to ask if you make up routine is mask proof? Also, what is your skin type? Thank you for this vid! 🖤
I totally feel that🥺 mine goes insane during exam season and during my times of the month & no worries thanks for watching!❤️ to be honest it is not the best as far as mask proof makeup goes:( ive been looking for more ways smudge proof my routine on youtube and ive noticed that others have mainly used powdered products. because I used a lot more cream products and have a very oily skin type it can move around under there throughout the day, so id say to definitely lean towards powdered products especially if your skin tends to grease up like mine🥰
@@MichelleGia omg thank you for the reply! Yes it is hard to have a mask proof makeup and we could only rely to powders ughhh. Hard to achieve a mask proof glowy look! We have a same skin type and i will definitely check out your future vids!💕
@@dabanana1393 its no problem at all!! i love getting responses so much so thank YOU🥰 maybe i will try to do a mask proof makeup test soon:) and thank you so much for the support🥺wishing all the best and stay safe!
Loved this! I used to have breakouts just like this. As I got older the cheeks have calmed down a ton and now I just get flare ups in my chin area. Concealers don’t sit well on my skin and if anyone has that same problem I STRONGLY recommend the Milk Makeup foundation stick. I use it as concealer and it’s amazing because the creamy consistency sits really well on textured skin!
I have PCOS too! You should get tested for zinc deficiency. Zinc deficiency is related to PCOS and can cause acne. Idk what your skincare routine is, but Curology worked wonders for me. I had cystic acne too and Curology got rid of my breakouts in about 2 months. Now Im just trying to get rid of my hyperpigmentation.
hi!! i actually have tested for zinc as well! the levels were normal surprisingly, but im def not complaining haha. omg ive heard so much about curology but ive never tried it, maybe ill keep a lookout if the supplements im taking now dont work out:) thanks for the suggestion!
Hi I came across this video and have some questions to ask, I would really appreciate if you could answer any of them : ). So I'm 16 years old and have had irregular periods ever since I started my period. My breakouts occur randomly but are similar to yours, I don't seem to break out due to skin irritation and I don't think my diet is causing my acne. Is it possible that I could have hormonal acne?
hi! yes, for sure! i'll do the best i can with what i know from my experiences:) so for me, one of the biggest giveaways that i was having a hormonal imbalance was the irregular periods and some THICK chin hairs (so whack lmao) but also because it was different from what i had commonly experienced before. my situation was a bit different from yours in that i had pretty regular periods from ages 12(when it started for me) to 17. at 18+ i was getting some irregularities and that was the same time i started getting a heavier cluster of cystic pimples and the facial hair. i know that for some girls, when they begin to menstruate it can be irregular at first, so that could be whats happening with you, but if its been a while, it may be something that you'd wanna keep an eye out for. also cystic pimples (the big deep painful ones) are more likely to be related to hormones. But to be honest, the only way that i was 100% able to know if it was hormonal acne was by taking a blood test ordered by a naturopathic doctor i found online, she basically asked me about my history and suggested certain blood tests to be taken. its hard to really say for sure if it is the case for you, just because everyones situation is so different and i dont want to lead you astray😭. i know is not what you wanted to hear and im sorry i dont have a definitive answer for you:( thats whats so frustrating about acne
You need to see a gynecologist if you haven't already. It sounds like you have PCOS. If your irregular periods are untreated for a long period of time, it can cause Ovarian Cancer. You should also get tested for zinc deficiency because it's related to PCOS and can cause acne.
Hey girlie i highly recommend the 1. differin adapalene gel 2. Good molecules discoloration serum 3. Good molecules niacinimide toner (you are beautiful and i hope your skin clears up soon!!!)
I appreciate how you acknowledge and embrace what makeup can do for a person, while also recognizing it’s limits and that skin isn’t perfect ☺️ I like your balance!
So wise beyond your years! I’m 53 and still struggle with acne. It took me many years to learn to be accepting and loving of my self just the way I am. You are light years ahead of me. Thank you for being so open and vulnerable and being real so I can learn how to cover and reduce the look of scars and in my case age spots and sun damage. TFS
That Fenty concealer really does a good job. I've never struggled with a lot of breakouts, but I have siblings who did, and it is really tough. You have a lovely, sweet way about you and are very beautiful.
Nearly cried because I related to the feeling of vulnerability you shared, and how honest this was. I experience the same type of acne cycles due to hormones/PCOS and it can really mess with self-esteem! Thank you for sharing and helping those w/ acne know we’re not alone
This is the most natural makeup video I have ever watched. Also struggling with acne issue rn but watching you made me feel really really good to myself 🥰 Keep being this positive girl!! Lovee
hi! you should try spraying a beauty blender with setting spray and then pat it all over ur face, it makes it look so pretty and sets ur makeup rlly nicely! also tysm for talking to us about ur acne and sharing a part of ur journey, i’ve started getting acne in the summer and it used to bring me down so much until i realized that it’s normal, and when i put some makeup on to cover it and i always see texture i remind myself that makeup isn’t a mask it’s just sitting on ur skin so it’s not supposed to look perfect. (i may have worded that weird lol) but ever since i told myself that, i’ve been so much happier. ilysm for this video
hey!❤️ omg ive seen a video of jackie aina talking about that and ive always been meaning to try it, so glad to hear it works for you! im def gonna do it now! and no worries at all🥺 i know exactly how you feel, makeup is never meant to look 100% flawless and that okay:) took me some time to come to terms with that, but the way you described it was beautiful and thats an amazing way to look at it🥰 sending so much love your way❤️
I also have hormonal acne and I get told all the time to just wash my face or get a routine when it’s obviously not that EASY!! I’m just glad that I can relate to somebody because I’ve been trying to learn how to do a natural makeup look so you’ve been so helpful. Thank you
im glad you get it too🥺 you dont know how many times people have told me to just wash my face or drink water, its honestly so infuriating. but im really glad i was able to help you, that makes me so happy fr❤️
Loved this video! I’m dealing with acne scarring and acne is general and this has helped me because I never really found a concealer that could blur my blemishes
I have same situation, texture skin and post inflammatory pigmention on my forehead and right cheek. I use TO alpha arbutin and Axis Y dark spot correcting glow serum for reduce it. And I still waiting for the result, for now it's work. Dear acne fighter, we should have a lot of patient 😂
Gurl even with your high testosterone (?) You are blessed with the on fleek eyebrows and lushful eyelashes, which most people want naturally but can't 🥰
The biggest issue for me is that if I do natural makeup I love how it looks the first two hours, then by the end of the day it completely disappears and you can see everything! Leaving me to have to do full coverage everyday
Have you tried Korean mascara? they're designed for straight asian lashes, so they won't weigh down you lashes. Etude House dr mascara fixer and their curl fix mascara work quite well 😁
Hi you are stunning and your personality is absolutely beautiful .. I've heard from dermatologists that you shouldn't use the concealer brush directly on your face if you have acne cause it can spread bacteria maybe that will help even though i know it's hormonal not bacterial acne i have the same acne but just in case love u 🤍.
hi! thank you so much for the kind words!! you are so sweet❤ive heard lots of suggestions about that as well, so i really do appreciate that recommendation🥰 ive definitely have been trying to be more cautious of it:) so much love for you!

Thank you, this was so helpfull.❤
Girl~
Your eyebrows are everything🤧
I LOVE this video!! I’m so glad that I found it, I struggle with a lot acne and acne scars on my cheek and I always struggle with trying to do natural makeup as I’m constantly like i need a full face to hide my acne and scars. Definitely going to try this out!! Your gorgeous btw 😍
& i LOVE and thank you for your kind words🥺🥰 Im so happy you were able to get something out of it and i hope it works well for you❤️i feel your struggle trust me, it really does get so exhausting doing full face everyday😔i know youre still beautiful regardless of you cover them up or not tho, and i mean that🥺❤️
You’re genuinely so beautiful, thanks for the tutorial! I have to take medication that causes hormonal imbalances and acne, this is really helpful!
Thank you for this!! You are so pretty with and without makeup ❤
You look so pretty with or without makeup😍
Thank you so much❤️🥺
Thank you, I've been struggling with my acne and I don't like foundation you help me so much, I appreciate you thanks again💯👍❤
Love this tutorial!!!! Thank you for sharing!
You're so beautiful and I'm sure an inspiration to many!! Thank you for this :))
@@dabanana1393 its no problem at all!! i love getting responses so much so thank YOU🥰 maybe i will try to do a mask proof makeup test soon:) and thank you so much for the support🥺wishing all the best and stay safe!
u have like beautiful features!! those brows tho and ahh so beautiful!! 😍❤️❤️
omg plzz🥺❤️❤️you are literally SO STUNNING, means so much coming from you🤧
I struggle with the same type of acne and I’m currently struggling right now to find a makeup alternative for foundation.
Loved this! I used to have breakouts just like this. As I got older the cheeks have calmed down a ton and now I just get flare ups in my chin area. Concealers don’t sit well on my skin and if anyone has that same problem I STRONGLY recommend the Milk Makeup foundation stick. I use it as concealer and it’s amazing because the creamy consistency sits really well on textured skin!
omg ive always wanted to try that!! so im happy to hear you liked it:) thank you🥺❤️and thank you for the suggestion, we appreciate you sm
You are stunning !!! Niacinamide saved my skin but it did take a while to lighten my scars so keep pushing!
YOURE GORGEOUS are you joking😭❤️means so much coming from you
@@MichelleGia STOP i am obsessed with you already!!!!!
@@nicolebeyl uhm i am in LOVE WITH YOU plzz😖💗
I teared up about whya you said the stigma about hormonal acne. I have the same issue. thank you
I’m literally going out to get that rents concealer. Thank you so much for this video
Btw ur so beautiful 🤍 and ty for the positive reminder 🤍🤍
Awe thank you so much🥺❤️you’re the sweetest, wishing you all the best!!
i use the rimmel london matte maker and ive had it for years haha, i cant bring myself to throw it away bc its just so good.
Looking gorgeous with or without those scars. 💚
So beautiful people wouldn’t even notice the imperfections girl you’re gorgeous 💕💕
Thank you so much that really means a lot❤️❤️
i really like watching make up vids like these and try them out but then i realize im broke so weLp lmaoooo
Me On my way to buy that concealer🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
Thank you for posting this because sometimes it feels like nobody has skin like mine 😞
awe no worries, you are never alone, always remember that!❤️
Finally found a makeup video tht most women can relate to..
I’m so glad it was❤️that’s all I ever wanted:)
You are gorgeous, with and without makeup! Like a Disney princess!
you are so beautiful with and without makeup!!!
@@MichelleGia Thank you for taking time out of your day to answer me : )
@@renata4108 no worries! im happy to help, and i hope youre able to figure it all out:))
You need to see a gynecologist if you haven't already. It sounds like you have PCOS. If your irregular periods are untreated for a long period of time, it can cause Ovarian Cancer. You should also get tested for zinc deficiency because it's related to PCOS and can cause acne.
@@laylewalden1831 Thank you for the advice 🙏🏻. I will try to get an appointment and see if this is it.
I've recently been diagnosed with PCOS and is currently struggling with hormonal acne. You're really lovely btw.
i know how frustrating it can be🥺im wishing you all the best, dont let it get you down too much, you'll still be beautiful regardless❤️& and thank you
@@MichelleGia omg thank you. 😘
girllll you look so gorgeous 🥺😭 i loveee your browsss
whatttt thank you so muchhh!!!🥺🥰you are too nice😖
You are so beautiful inside and out
i love you so much❤️ thank you🥰
This is exactly what i am looking form thank you for this.b
Makeup is makeup , not skin 🥲 that gave me a bit of relief 💀❤️
You are so beautiful!
you are still pretty even without concealer
Ummm LOVE YOU and LOVE this makeup look ❤
Wow I don’t even have acne and I’m watching this because you’re so sweet and kind. Thank you for spreading the positivity 💜🤍
omg thank you so much you're literally equally as kind❤️🥺 and i really appreciate you
I finally found a channel that i can relate to.... ❤️❤️❤️❤️
It's simple, yet beautiful..😍😍
You’re so pretty🥺 beautiful brows and profile !!!
whattt🥺thank you so much, that is so nice of you❤️❤️
Hey girlie i highly recommend the 1. differin adapalene gel 2. Good molecules discoloration serum 3. Good molecules niacinimide toner (you are beautiful and i hope your skin clears up soon!!!)
thank you🥺❤️ and thank you so much for the suggestions! ive heard a lot about differin, but not much about the others so im glad you recommended🥰
I appreciate how you acknowledge and embrace what makeup can do for a person, while also recognizing it’s limits and that skin isn’t perfect ☺️ I like your balance!
i am definitely buying the concealer it looks amazing! Do u rec the brush or could i use a beauty blender?
Yay! Hope it works out well:)) I’ve actually never used a beauty blender myself, but I know a lot of people who prefer it, so you def could
So wise beyond your years! I’m 53 and still struggle with acne. It took me many years to learn to be accepting and loving of my self just the way I am. You are light years ahead of me. Thank you for being so open and vulnerable and being real so I can learn how to cover and reduce the look of scars and in my case age spots and sun damage. TFS
finally someone who doesnt use mascara.
Omg u look like aiah from bini
same my acne is mainly due to a hormonal imbalance
you are so beautiful and sweet ❤
That Fenty concealer really does a good job. I've never struggled with a lot of breakouts, but I have siblings who did, and it is really tough. You have a lovely, sweet way about you and are very beautiful.
Your natural skin is very beautiful
Thank you so much❤️you are really pretty
your skin and mine is the same , ily
Nearly cried because I related to the feeling of vulnerability you shared, and how honest this was.
I experience the same type of acne cycles due to hormones/PCOS and it can really mess with self-esteem! Thank you for sharing and helping those w/ acne know we’re not alone
This is the most natural makeup video I have ever watched. Also struggling with acne issue rn but watching you made me feel really really good to myself 🥰
Keep being this positive girl!! Lovee
hi! you should try spraying a beauty blender with setting spray and then pat it all over ur face, it makes it look so pretty and sets ur makeup rlly nicely! also tysm for talking to us about ur acne and sharing a part of ur journey, i’ve started getting acne in the summer and it used to bring me down so much until i realized that it’s normal, and when i put some makeup on to cover it and i always see texture i remind myself that makeup isn’t a mask it’s just sitting on ur skin so it’s not supposed to look perfect. (i may have worded that weird lol) but ever since i told myself that, i’ve been so much happier. ilysm for this video
hey!❤️ omg ive seen a video of jackie aina talking about that and ive always been meaning to try it, so glad to hear it works for you! im def gonna do it now! and no worries at all🥺 i know exactly how you feel, makeup is never meant to look 100% flawless and that okay:) took me some time to come to terms with that, but the way you described it was beautiful and thats an amazing way to look at it🥰 sending so much love your way❤️
@@MichelleGia ❤️❤️❤️
Yay I’m so happy it did🥰❤️ I hope it works well you! You are so CUTE😭
I have same situation, texture skin and post inflammatory pigmention on my forehead and right cheek. I use TO alpha arbutin and Axis Y dark spot correcting glow serum for reduce it. And I still waiting for the result, for now it's work. Dear acne fighter, we should have a lot of patient 😂
the waiting game is the worst part tbh😭but i hope it all goes well for you❤️dont give up🥺im routing for you!!
Gurl even with your high testosterone (?) You are blessed with the on fleek eyebrows and lushful eyelashes, which most people want naturally but can't 🥰
Thank you sm🥰🥺🫶🏼❤️!!
The biggest issue for me is that if I do natural makeup I love how it looks the first two hours, then by the end of the day it completely disappears and you can see everything! Leaving me to have to do full coverage everyday
Girlll me to
Beautiful skin tone❤☀️
Thank you for thisss ❤
Have you tried Korean mascara? they're designed for straight asian lashes, so they won't weigh down you lashes. Etude House dr mascara fixer and their curl fix mascara work quite well 😁
no i havent! ive heard so much about korean brands for asian lashes so ill check those out! thank you so much❤️❤️
thank you so much for this!!!
Thank you so much! This video makes me so happy, also you’re so beautiful
I’m so happy it did❤️🥺& thank you sm
