- With just a little over a week left until the premiere of The Owl House season 2, it's only natural that Disney would release a trailer to the public showing some of the awesome events to come! So I'm going to do my best to breakdown this new trailer!

The trailer takes me back to Gravity Falls' new season trailers. Right down to the theme song remaster. Good times.

Want to be the first to point out I already made an oversight that I didn't notice until post. When Eda is first shown in her younger days, it's from the perspective of her childhood friend not her family member AND Luz is holding Spy Man palisman when jumping off the crystal. My apologies for not noticing sooner
ALSO Luz at 4:38 Luz is holding a Staff for the Operatives with the Red Crystal in the middle like Belos' staff.
4:53 is my theory is that its the boy who has the golden mask that emperor belos kid i dont really know who's that guy but if u see in the season 2 intro u will see his hair looks a like?the feather
Extra note, at 8:11 Eda is also in that strange boomerang ruin (small statues to the left of the frame)
I'm anxiously waiting to see Luz interact with Mrs. Blight.

8:11 this might be King's flashback when he first met eda because the POV is about king's height and it's Eda about a couple years back

the blue dragon seems to be protecting a piece of wood, possibly the palisman wood, and the red bird is her personal palisman.
Theory: I think emperor belos might be cursed and uses talisman bile/magic juice to stop the curse temporarily
when luz floats up from that lake, it looks like there's a rope tied around their waist that's like, probably snapped off whatever they were tied to? maybe the floating ship? maybe something was trying to pull them down?
it reminds me of one stranger things episode either season 1 or season 2

Finally someone points out that Luz looks like a team Aqua grunt in the pirate shot 😂... I thought I was the only one that noticed
I noticed when we saw Eda and Lilith's mom (whose name I'm going to guess is Gwendolyn) the mark on her arm looks like the symbol for the beast keeping track. I wonder why Eda and Lilith went to the potions track instead of the same as their mom.
If you pay close attention you'll see that Gus is using a glyph to cast the spell as for a frame the fire in their hand turns into a perfect rectangle

IDK why but I have a feeling Emperor Bellows and the Unknown Masked guy could be related. This is just based on their similar hair color, but hey that's just my opinion.
4:29 In this scene, Bellos is probably turning into some kind of monster like edas curse or,he ate a palismen but the palismen is still alive and is fighting back?

The one thing that got me curious is that scene with Luz's mother what is she wearing and what she doing
Just a heads up, the character at 5:29 canonically uses they/them pronouns

@@vgmarkis I think they're not the Bard Coven leader because if you match them to the bard coven's banner from the episode 'The First Day', you should notice that they don't match. However, I do think they were the person in the photo with Eda.

The trailer show some more modifications on the glyphs Luz know for example the ice glyph at 9:32 is different
One more thing. In the jumping scene with the red bird, Luz is CARRYING THE OPERATIVES STAFF. I don’t know if she stole it or he switched side (or at least convince Luz he did).

7:28 I looked over this clip but now I think it even more: Gus used illusion magic to enhance his fireball spell! it fits with the illusion stuff and it's also a thing in dnd (and throughout the show there have been quite some dnd related things when it comes to the magic imo)
In the first day he also used illusion magic to enhance Willow's plant monster

Also, I'm getting serious likeable bad guy vibes from the spy, the way he moves/acts in the trailer seems like he's going to be set up as a charismatic bad guy like Pagan Min from far cry 4.

honestly, im really excited to see Lilith's character development, and her and Eda reconnecting after all those years. I think it will be nice to see what they are like as friends/sisters rather than enemies. Also, I hope we get to find out more about Amity's family. They always interestedd me when I saw them from the episode 'Undertsanding Willow' so i think it would be good to see more of their personalities.

Me personally I am most excited for the coven leaders most specifically the beast keeping coven not only because that’s my favorite type of magic but be keeping got the shaft in season one

Maybe luz's mom is trying to figure out who or what's been sending the letters. In a episode from S1 Luz's mom gets letters from "Luz" Even though Luz is in a different world.
Something intreaging is, that Kings shadow (in the first Episode) fits the appearance of the "Boomerang-Demon".
I have a theory that the owl beast we see in the trailer is in fact emperor belos. That he is in fact has been cursed either through another witch/warlock or it was a backfire that he was trying to curse someone but messed up somehow. And that the green goo from the palismons (or how ever you spell it) is keeping the curse at bay and he is trying to get to the human world either to get revenge on the person who cursed him/ who he was trying to curse. Or that he believes that a world without magic will cure his curse. I also believe that luz’s mom is the good witch Azura or more likely her descendent who cursed emperor belos/ was the target of the curse that somehow back fired
Was that hooty but with an awesome fire scene it’s the best baby that runs their mouth to much. I think that luzs mom is worried about her daughter I think she goes to the camps office or to the police station especially since her daughter hasn’t talked to her in a while. Just a theory.

The animators could have done this on purpose. The color red symbolizes danger, and Luz and Amity will be going to the *most dangerous part of the library* in that episode. Also, that was literally one of the first things that immediately stood out to me. I was like “Hold up, wait a minute, something ain’t right!”
Okay this is quite a stretch but hear me out: Mrs Blight’s flamethrower(6:41) looks a lot like the palceman “blood” (9:36) maybe palceman “blood” can be used in other ways and made into a weapon..?
The Boomerang shaped head statues n stuff makes me think they’re probably going to encounter the healing track head

I've always had doubts about the power base of Emperor Belos simply due to how it has been so difficult for them to capture Eda and how easy it was for Luz to save Eda (even with the help of Lilith and King). Seeing the heads of each of the main nine covens might change my mind on how I feel about them.

I _think_ that maybe the board has to do with 'missing kids' who were sent to that 'reality check' camp? Something seems odd there, especially with what we've seen since then showing there's an imposter-Luz now living with Camilla.

I’m confused how even the the glyphs have the same design they do different things. Makes no sense.
I think they can do different things depending on the user’s will because they are, you know, magic. But it doesn’t change their nature, fire glyphs will only cast fire, for example

We knew so little back then! I can't wait for after the next half of the season comes out so I can look back on reviews of the trailer we're going to get soon and laugh like I did today.

what if belos was trying to get the portal in order to find his family in the human realm but little he didn't know luz was his daughter since he was stuck for about 14-15 years but in exchange to inherit the titan.

Disney just posted a new video that shows that the shadow at 0:43 in the trailer is actually a tiny animal that they are hunting down like a bounty and then the tiny animal get eaten by king!
I wonder if they will manage to actually come up with a original reason why Belos wants access to the Human realm. It has been done quite a bit too often, that the main Villain would want to join the Magical and non-Magical realms together.
Did anyone else notice one of the coven leaders shown looks likes king shadow in the first episode before we see him not just his shadow

I got really surprised when i completely random chose to watch an episode of this series, on one of the Awast me Matey's, sites, and discovered 2 episodes were out already, they are good, and has an overall improved quality if you ask me, though, they are retracing some steps the previous series already covered
I think what's sneeking up on eda is the owl beast and that the owl beast is actually hooty and that's eda's first time at the owl house
