Bud light approves Lumity
I live in a rock. What does this mean
@@volutedsauce6404 the bud light Twitter account retweeted a lumity fanart
Makes sense
If only u were budlight tho
I think the simulation we live in is broken.
-“STAY AWAY FROM MY LUZ!”
-Luz now blushing
*THE LUMITY IS NOW BEING TURNED UP TO 11 AND I AM 100% HERE FOR IT.* Also Alador is a mood. I think he may potentially grow to be a better person and stand up to his wife in defense of his youngest daughter in a much bigger way than what we saw in today’s episode.
You can definitely see why Dana said she has fun writing Mr blight because he is definitely interesting like she says
Now that the blights have had their first on screen appearances. I see Alador as someone who looks overworked also it could be a possibility that he was only hard on Amity in hopes she would grow and become a better person that can stand up for herself.
Odalia nearly kill her future daughter-in-law. Think about that. That's gonna make for a fun story to tell the kids one day.
So when Golden Guard found out about the blight parents making a private army, does that mean Belos is planning to have no one revolute him?
Well he probably saw this as a possible threat to his power and decided to use it to his advantage by recruiting the blights himself.
Funnily enough the gg judging by the way he speaks down to odalia, a wealthy and powerful businesswoman, compared to his he was actually fairly respectful to luz and Eda in comparison, literal criminals who robbed, attacked and insulted him, he probably doesn’t like the blights at all
Makes total sense
He kinda already does. he limits the kind of magic a witch can learn through the Conven system where they can only use magic for that branch of magic. the only expectation is the Emperor's Coven which is under his direct control. add the crackdown on wild witches and how magic is taught and it shows how he keeps control.
@@ASmartNameForMe that reminds me of the anime demon Slayer in which Muzan Kibustsuji doesn't allow demons to team up very often because he's afraid that if enough of them team up they'll get ideas in their head that they can rebel against him and overpower him.
So as Tamayo put it "He manipulates demons to behave."
And by that she obviously means that he antagonizes and intimidates them into never going against him.
I think I can characterize amity’s Dad as fully supporting of the relationship But if his babies heart gets broken he’ll kill the protagonist himself
I can see him as the over protective father.
As long as his princess is happy that's all that matters to him but if anyone hurts her they better have a portal door to the human world,While also being submissive but not completely to his wife.
I'm sure she would kill Luz at the end of the day if she rejected or hurt amity just not for the right reason.
What ._. .... Dude, did you forget Amity's dad is STILL toxic? He may not directly abuse Amity like her mother, but he still only cares about his job and Amity getting stronger to become a covenant. He literally doesn't care about Amity's feelings, and has never stood up for her, not for the right reasons. He looks off all the time, like he is in his own little world where only his business exists, and the reason he looked interested when he saw Amity standing up for Luz, was because he realized that hanging out with Luz makes her stronger.
@@lxttlemedits596 Yeah but not as out an out toxic as her mother he still has to pay for his crime of Inaction
@@lxttlemedits596 EXACTLY THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN TRYING TO SAY-
@@josethebeast8709 Alador is good now. Yay
The blights and emperor belos working together this can't be good
Alador comes across as a workaholic with a sense of personal pride. Its clear that Odalia married INTO the Blight family, and the words 'a Blight always keeps their word' and the fact Odalia was willing to break her word, shows she doesn't truly value those words, but Alador does, because he IS a Blight, yes, he seems passive, but he definitely knows how to keep his wife in line when she oversteps, and maybe the reason that he didn't do anything when Odalia pushed for the expulsion of the group, was because of the fact he didn't think it worth pushing against, or perhaps he felt Amity broke her word, and so consequences needed to happen.
But, as to why he isn't Coven head, I think it has to do with the fact that he runs a business, and because he is a master of his craft, he doesn't want to get involved into the politics of running a coven, because then he will have to micromanage other people, which would interfere with his work. He might be the best at making and creating abominations, but, he clearly has a passive attitude when it comes to a group project, that does not make for a good leader.
I would love to see Alador unleash against the Abomination coven leader, just to see if Alador really is the greatest of their generation.
This episode is probably my favorite of season 2 so far (although that might change). So many new info about the characters like glimpses into Amity and Willow’s home lives, FINALLY SEEING THE BLIGHT PARENTS, Alador maybe having a chance at redemption, and I can’t forget LUMITY!!!!! Not only the characters but the lore we get some small hints about how bile sacs work and that leaves us with ways to theorize on witches’ magic and how glyphs command the magic around them basically confirming what was said in Adventures in the Elements of “magic is everywhere”. Speaking of quotes from episodes a common one from this episode is “a Blight always upholds their end of the deal”. I don’t know if anyone else picked up on this but my mind immediately jumped back to Covention when Amity broke the everlasting oath. If that’s not a coincidence that line makes that moment even more significant. I just love this episode and I have a feeling that it’s gonna be topped but I have no idea how. I’m so excited for the rest of this season!! 💙💖
Same!
Alador is now one of my favorite characters. I actually don’t see him as a bad person. He seems sweet. Also, I feel like he’s just controlled and manipulated by Odalia. He just looked mentally exhausted in this episode.
Escaping Expultion was a very good episode we got to see Amitys parents and what they are really like and not in a flash back and we got some very sweet and precious Lumity moments
Not only did one of the witches/warlocks looks like Ludo Avairius from Star vs the Forces of Evil, but Hop Pop Planter from Amphibia had a cameo appearance. Best episode in a while.
Yes! Yes! Amity and Luz blushed at each other! Pop the champagne! 🍾🎉🎊🍾🍾🍾🥂
Also
Willow: this isn’t a cartoon from the 40s Gus
Me: lol
Also, ya know, I can tell gets his personality from alador. Like with Edric being attached to a bat and with alador being attached to butterflies and bumps mask. They seem like they’ll love beast keeping coven
Amity's dad doesn't appear to be a jerk and I'm into that
He's clearly a bit more sane/down to Earth than his wife.
Still a bad father
@@KokaKola633 I mean yeah
Alador is easily 1 of my favorite Owl House characters
Theory alidor knew his wife wanted to murder luz from the start and him saying executed instead of expelled with him trying to subtly hint at his wife's real intentions further evidence for this Theory can be shown in that he's the one who tries to stop odhalia from going too far
That is a good theory
@@lillthl7025 thank you
@@masqueradenoir5767 your welcome I have never thought about it
It's mostly just something that popped into my head when I re-watchd aladors scenes
@@lillthl7025 I have no idea what you mean
Odalia isn’t what I expected and it’s fine but omg alodor is amazing (probably butchered their names)
I messed up odalia better then alador but your opposite
There are a few references and easter eggs on the blights industry card like the zip code and others
Alador does not look happy in the painting. I think Alador embodies the phrase: Pick your battles. He will stand up for his daughter and make sure his wife keeps her word, but does not have to listen to his wife blather about what her plans are for Amity's future.
If Glyphs act as a sort of set of magic words, a real world equivalent to them could either be runes or those protection scrolls ancient Japanese people would hang in their homes (perhaps even both.)
With the right combination of these symbols, certain spells can be enacted
Amitty's dad reminds me of doof from phineas and ferb.
Lumity is happening
Alador's VA does a good job, even if he doesn't make too many appearances. I can almost forget that he also voice acts a verbally abusive war criminal.
6:23 I don't know if only I think it's a reference, but look at the right side near Odalia there are 3 bottles with the same colors as the stones in Amphibia's music box, and blue (which in this case is Anne's)It's not complete, while Sasha and Marcy are complete
So is the owl house and amphibia the same universe?
Pretty much.
Love the episode hopes goes for more
I full support the Lumity Ship
Yay
I already watched the episode when it got leaked but watching the episode on Disney channel now
wait wait wait what? Amity and Katara share the same voice actor? wow, that's awesome
Is there a reason you pointed out pretty much every little detail in the episode, but not that
- Amity says "my Luz" and
- Luz blushes at Amitys sight for the first time, beginning a mutual crush.
Even if romance is not your thing, ignoring it completely makes no sense to me. I think at least the second thing here is important to mention because it it changes something in their character dynamic that will define alot of their future interactions.
I can't imagine a somewhat complete breakdown of this episode without mentioning this.. like at all. o.o
Owl House will be sponsored by Bud Light after it confirms they ship Lumity on Twitter, even Dana saw it
I already saw hop pop
Hey as we seen alador loves inventing stuff and is quite good at it do you think that he made the necklaces and odalia and amity have that odelai uses to talk to amity
I don’t think so. Another video mentioned that the necklace seems to be oracle magic, and that makes more sense to me given the nature of the device.
I love aladors face after he sees luz and amity blush at eachother
Light plant fire ice 💛💚❤💙
Long ago the four Nation's lived together in harmony.
@@ben_dover97 then everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked.
Blight parents Expectation. Haaaaaaaate, reality oh no there hot
My headcanon is that Alador is autistic and has ADHD, reason, I have both and can seriously relate to the dude, as well as he seems really similar to other people describing their experiences with both.
Sea like the last episode like at the end where the golden knight comes he got releaved in that episode with the sea boat.
U STARTED THE VIDEO WITH ALADOR MALEWIFE IM D E A D
Nice video. Can you do a video on separate tides? Or have you already done that 🤔
I think that alador is really the great abomination inventor but he is not the coven head is because maybe he can't use abomination magic that great like he can't summon big abomination maybe he can only summon normal abomination and rip it into pieces and reassemble it again and add some new gear and weapon to it well we never see alador or odalia use real magic except that magic rock that odalia use to talk with amity or it should be blackmail amity
how did my dumb ass realize never realize amity has the same va as katara
Well this thing I know this it is not the part of it of the episode in particularly but watch this theme song look at the flag you could see the emperor's cousins logo on one of them for that by lose yourself
Maybe because Alador isn't the Abomination Coven Leader is that he will be too busy doing Coven leader stuff???? Btw thats why glyphs can't be used on earth because theres so little magic there
I thought because he when to be in the beasts coven
3:35 Seriously, someone help this kid D:
GG kind of reminds me of Obito from Naruto
Mysterious masked characters in animation >>>>>
Odalia please let Alador sleep he looks so tired 😫
Does anyone know where i could watch the episodes for season 2? I really want to watch them but they arent released on Disney+ yet.
Can someone please tell me what's the song here 10:44
We hate Odelia
0:30 how is Alador a male wife? 😂
seethings sea's?
What ep is that?
Is it just me? Or does this guy sound like Soos
Alador is a g
😙
What even is bright indenstreies i have to watch this show
