- We are days away from the premiere of season two of The Owl House and with that, comes the season two trailer! So of course I gotta do an analysis and breakdown for the new trailer! We've got some exciting stuff like Hooty leaving The Owl House, a mysterious character possibly named Gwendolyn, and Luz and Amity going to the most dangerous section of the library!

I’m still concerned about “Escaping Expulsion” - second episode of this season - where the Blight parents get Gus, Willow, and Luz expelled from Hexside. How is Amity gonna cope with this, even if she does find a way to help resolve this? Like sure, this will more than likely give us cute Lumity moments, which I’m always here for, but I’m worried how Amity’s parents will treat her when they find out that she’s standing up for “not-as-powerful” witches, witches they forbid their family to associate with, especially when two of them are Willow (a witch they ordered Amity to stop hanging out with in exchange for keeping Willow at Hexside) and Luz (not only a human, but human Amity has feelings for)

I don't think Belos's key is the real one, I think he's trying to make a replica.
Same, it looks similar, but lighter in colour, like as if the original was made of a dark type of wood or something, and his a lighter type of wood

I think Gus is using a glyph in the scene he’s shooting fire, if you pause right before he shoots fire he’s holding a rectangle that’s glowing, most likely the just activated glyph

Yep, I was about to comment this! I’m pretty sure he activated a glyph, then there’s the fact that Lilith used her ice glyphs much differently than Luz uses them so it’ll be really cool to see how other characters utilize them

The Hand Dragon is possibly a transformed Kikimora, hence her berserk state in the intro! And the Hand Dragon resembles the hand that stela King’s crown from Eda’s story in the first episode!

Ok I swear, shouldn't gus' fire be blue like his energy (Similar to Amity's power being purple)
My theory is that he actually used a fire glyph to create the fire spell (he maybe didn't know how to perform a fire spell with his own spell circle tbh)
That explains why there seems to be a square in his hand and he only slaps his hands to make it instead of an actual circle
I think he did use a fire glyph if you pause in the right time you can see him with the fire glyph

@@Prismanimal yea he did CHOOSE that track but as far as we know he didn't join a coven which means he can still perform other forms of magic but maybe he hasn't figured out how to or just doesn't want to learn other forms of magic so he just uses the glyphs
@@Prismanimal Kids aren't locked out of different magic types, the youngest we saw having their magic locked was what seemed to be a teenager in covention, so probably happens just after graduation. This would make sense since Willow was in the abomination track when we met her and her plant magic was very much not sealed. Letting them have all their magic let's the kids find the one they're best at.
@@shadenox8164 Dana confirmed witches only get their magic sealed away around 17-18 yo, maybe sooner if they skip years for being good like Gus, but gus is pretty obviously still in school so his magic is not sealed at all
Here's everything I noticed, you were right about Lilith turning into Crow Beast, Belos appears to also have a Curse of his own, and that might be why he has hair now. The Owl House Spy is seemingly going to be trying to trick The Owl House Gang into thinking he's funny, or he's just going to be extremely cocky. Luz is going to be getting a new outfit, or The Owl House Spy might be trying to impersonate Luz. The Blights have their own company kind of like Bruce Wayne, called Blight Industries where they combine Magic and technology, your peers Luz is going to have to face down one of their Creations, maybe a part of the deal in Episode 2. Lumity looks like it might happen. It looks like we are going to be seeing Eda's Mother, and I'm not too sure who that hooded figure is what the moon in their Hood, maybe the personification of magic or something. It looks like when Luz fell into the water she had a rope attached to her that broke. And of course Belos finally restores the Portal Door.
I think the spy impersonating Luz is interesting because if that is true they've been keeping an eye on Luz for a long time even. I feel the abomination robot malfunctioned so Luz has to shut it down

If you look closely you can see that one of the pins on Luz's bag is a pride pin!
Since people are asking for a timestamp and where it is 0:35 there are 3 circular pins on the black patch of the bag and the one on the right side is a rainbow pride pin and though blurry, is very much there especially if you zoom in

Ok so I have a theory that I think parts of might be possible? I know this could be a bit crazy, but hear me out-
First, did you notice the startling lack of present day Eda in this trailer? She appeared like twice, and barely that. And then there’s the fact that Luz has Owlbert for most of this, and seems to be working with Lilith a whole lot more than she is with Eda. Well, and this is where it gets a little crazier, remember that new owl beast? I was thinking that maybe this is a progressed version of Eda’s curse, hence the beak and overall just resembling an owl more. Of course the curse was split, but that clearly didn’t stop it from progressing (as we see on Lilith). Maybe Eda will be stuck like that for a while, and Luz and Lilith will have to work together to find a proper cure.
At the start of the trailer, literally everyone residing in the owl house *including Hooty* is there, except Eda. Where could she be, alone and without her palisman? The only thing I can think of is in her owl beast form, and in this case, possibly a version of it that can’t be gotten through to the way King and Luz could on those two seperate occasions.
That is a possibility considering eda's curse is worsening she might just stay home

My theory is that Belos is also cursed, and discovered that the essence inside Palismans can hold back the curse, hence his weakness in “Agony of a Witch.” It could act like Eda’s Elixir. (That scene of the spy and the shadow of the beast that looks like Belos could be him transforming due to a lack of Palisman essence, and he turns into some kind of beast.) Another theory is that he’s using the essence like a drug to gain more magic, and is now dependent on it. Or, he’s using it to gain enough magic to merge with the Titan. That transformation could be the Titan using his body as a new host.
here's an interesting theory:
we all know Belos wants to go to the human realm, but not to invade it but another purpose. Maybe he's trying to find Azura??? It has multiple clues that azura has been in the boilinhlg isles and the human realm, the most known one being that the books are on both worlds and the author being unknown. Maybe Belos is connected or have known azura in a way and had a bad conflict that Belos wants to hunt her down. But then again, who _is_ Azura in the human realm? Well, the only known human is Camilla(?), aka Luz's mom, and I have some evidence that could point out that she is azura.
The fact that the portal is near their house is a really good coincidence, right? Maybe just a little thing for cartoons since most shows are like that. But remember, every small thing in the owl house could tie to the main plot and lore of it. Camilla trying to make Luz out of her wacky imagination and love for fantasy could also point out that she is azura as she hated or doesn't want to go back to the isles and doesn't want Luz and her to get captured. And Amity saying that humans can't do magic has really stuck in my head. Sure, she can't draw circles in the air, but we can see her using a staff and palisman and glyphs. There could be traces of magic in her blood. How does this connect to azura? well, we've only heard from Luz or seen that she only uses her staff and never circles. it could mean that azura/Camilla could be a half-human half-witch breed, but more on the witch side, which had been passed to Luz. Anyway, thank you for reading my whole blabbering about this theory, lol. But it does tie up, eh?

One thing I noticed a little bit after my first viewing of the trailer is that the oracle coven leader looks kinda similar to Kikimora. I don’t know if this is gonna be important or not just something I picked up on.

it looks like for Camilla it's likely she's become obessed with figuring out where luz is and built a conspiracy board herself or she is talking to someone who developed a theory on the boiling isles either the book writer of Azura or someone who has had the misfortrune encountering eda like stan. As for the owl beast assume it's likely lilith given a scene in the trailer shows her spotting feathers implying like eda at the beginning she has to take a potion.
Also Dana said this trailer is the least spoilery trailer that they could make so Im just so freaking excited for season 2

In this scene there's a picture of a silhoutte that looks like Luz holding the staff in the background and the red threads connecting the picture seem like if they were looking for her, this is probably Camila finding out Luz never went to camp and that they were loking for her, maybe someone took the picture when Lilith and Luz went through the portal in s1 finale and that's the last time someone saw Luz in the human world so they're using that picture to figure out where she went after it
If you look closely at the Blight Industries shot, you can see the Abomination track/coven symbol with the halo of the Oracle track/coven. So, yeah, they probably combined their powers.
11:17 im guessing this scene was from Eda's friend's point of view (the one in the photo). I think what's going on here is that friend, just met Eda again after a long time, that's why we get a flashback shot right after that.

Sorry this is prob late, but another thing to note at 2:30 is that Gus actually uses a fire glyph I think before he shoots the fire through his spell. This is likely from Luz teaching her friends how to use the glyphs at some point and them learning to combine it with their spell magic. Just a thought tho.

I just wanna tell today 5.06.2021 i was saw new trailer of The owl haus season 2 and there was a scene where Amity and Luz was touch their hands and both were blushing. And it was so CUTE!
Fun Fact: Amity's voice actress also voiced Tinkerbell and Katara (from Avatar the last Airbender)
when gus casted the fire ball the light first started as an orange rectangle so i think gus used a fire glyph and powered it up with his magic; it would make sense because we never saw gus use more than illusion magic before, usually people only master one kind of magic at a time and that was a powerfull fireball. We know that magic can power and charge sigils making them more powerfull and usually when flames are casted by a witch they are the same color of the user's magic.

7:15 the creature is reminiscent of a kasaobake an umbrella monster. It’s a Japanese folklore thing. With the one eye two sporting arms and the shape it looks like the kasaobake. It’s possible that they will explore the idea of creatures leaking into the human realm with another creature we think are just myths.
Belos and the door, belos has the same hair as the character we see earlier that has one eye, and the one eye character looks so much like Cypher from Gravity Fall.
I got a feeling belos also has a curse alike eda and maybe now liliths and the insides of palismans are his version of the potions eda drank in season 1

Theory: The friend is that famous book character Luz and Amity like. She traveled to the human real and wrote books about tbe boiling isles. She worked along side a partner, which one day finds out all that is in the books is true - or most of it - and driven by a hunger for power enters the boiling islands. How he has so much technologic knowledge and power I cant fit in here yet, but he manages to put the whole island at bay. Problem is, he lost the ability to go back to the human realm, and is trying ever since. Since Belos looks sick, and the funghi in the trailer looks familiar with something of Belos castle, im guessing he got sick from them somehow, and what sustains him is Magic. But as we know, Magic doesnt exist in the human realm. So not only he is stuck, but he has to find a way to take Magic with him, or hell die. Eda was probably of his interest because she sustained the curse for a long time and was able to turn back to normal. Maybe it was even an experiment of Belos?

I think Lilith's shirt is also a tie into the fact that her magic is slowly draining, like a battery on a phone, and that's why the battery symbol is in the red because it symbolizes that Lilith's magic is dwindling.
