I'm really excited too. Since Toriyama passed away, I've been reading some of his other stuff like Sand Land, Kajika, Kintoki. They're great adventure stories and if Daima gives us some of that same spirit it's gonna be fantastic.
I am actually excited for dragon ball Daima mostly because well it’s akira toriyama vision and this new story sounds really amazing and badass in my opinion.
Just knowing if it's canon and wherr properly in the timeline it happens. Will be a big thing. Biggest clues are the supreme Kai and kibito being unfused which happens in dragon ball super. but... I think krillins daughter is still a full on toddler so it has to be before beerus's arrival.
Super carried so much more potential than what we were presented with. In fact, how Trunks came back i'll always consider one of the worst ways, how Vegito returned, and personally Tune I just couldn't get with Instinct as we could have been given something so much more epic in terms of attraction towards look. But I agree there. In fact, I really don't think there should have been a Dragon Ball Super just seeing what we were presented with.
Toriyama being hands on and what seems like a dream team of production staff and a super relaxed schedule has me thinking that this series will...at minimum...look absolutely gorgeous and capture a super fresh angle to the story with that pure, vintage Toriyama magic I just REALLY wish that it wasn't a "Turn them to kids" concept. That is just a bridge too far.
I don't know why, but I'm a sucker for stuff like this. There's so much comedy potential with all the characters being turned into kids. They just look adorable. That being said, I don't want it to be a pure comedy. I hope it has plenty of serious moments too. And hearing that Akira Toriyama was heavily involved sounds promising. I couldn't get into Super. I can't remember exactly where, but I stopped watching shortly after the Goku Black arc. I didn't like the stories, I didn't like the characters, it was just boring to me. I really hope Daima is good 🤞😅
