    I was wondering do all the bolts and screws have recommended torque settings, ie you need to use a torque wrench, or do you tighten a lot with just feel?

    • @timothyn4929
      @timothyn4929 4 місяці тому +2

      He showed a torque wrench. All values are specified so you don't shear something

    • @zeto.r
      @zeto.r  4 місяці тому +3

      Yes, all bolts have specified torque values, especially on the engine. On some nonvital components, you can use your feelings (after such a long time in business you already know) but otherwise always torque wrench

    • @zeto.r
      @zeto.r  4 місяці тому +2

      I'm not showing values because it can change with revision and as well I don't want people to use this for maintenance, this way they must look in AMM

    • @patricksmith4424
      @patricksmith4424 4 місяці тому +1

      @zeto.r OK thanks, thats good to know. I have found on bikes and cars that's always been a bit of a problem, how much to tighten something, especially with something like a socket wrench compared to a small spanner. I would imagine that using a torque wrench could be more problematic where bolts are more hidden, but I would imagine that the designers of aircraft make sure there is room.

    • @zeto.r
      @zeto.r  4 місяці тому +2

      Designers of aircraft Don't care about such things 🙂. Everything must be very compact and aerodynamic.

    • @piquecuriosity

      It is for checking. All mechanic has this habit to ensure they are torque it correctly.

    • @zeto.r
      @zeto.r  4 місяці тому +3

      You will not change the torque with a double-click and you confirm the torque

    • @ChrisCokeRobinson
      @ChrisCokeRobinson 4 місяці тому

      Good habit to re-check torque sometimes, for example after using a hammer on clamps. When everything sets into position after applying the hammer, the torque can loosen a bit, thus re-applying torque is important.

    Okay so this video I guess could be dangerous for someone that doesn't want you the proper maintenance or should I do a DIY only these aircraft. But maybe not as dangerous as Boeing and their engineering team with the planes that have been released into the public that are pretty much be identified as fit to be unsafe for use but humans... It's a very interesting question. No?😊

I don't see the problem with showing this because nobody unauthorised will have a chance to get to this point. I have a duplicate inspector for most of my work on the side so what I'm doing is safe
