THis channel is awesome. I have been glued to it for the last 2 weeks since I found it. Gosh Sam is the man! He can fix anything. So many skills he has. He definitely gets the most out of his day. What an amazing talent. I never sailed but had a 1984 Bayliner yrs ago. I might never sail but definitely would like to learn. Maybe that will happen after watching this..who knows..Thanks Sam..
Well I'm so glad to hear that you got the surgery and you're recovering good for you wishing and hoping the best for you always. And the new lady friend sailor Jasmine looks pretty darn cute you're a lucky guy
Sam, you get more done in a short video, (always great, btw, including last weeks), than most folks do in longer, more winded ones. Glad you're feeling better. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Great vid Sam didnt want it to end. Jasmin looks the goods and not scared of heights either. I too like a can of chunky soup when camping, usually add a few extras to it. Best wishes for a speedy recovery mate.
Great news about the surgery. Looking forward to your adventures next year. You mentioned Erik. He certainly does deserve his occasional Ciggies and beer. Meanwhile, Sam, have a good festive period.
You have the best sailing channel on UA-cam Sam. I wish you a full and speedy recovery from your surgery, so you can get back out on the water soon. Fair winds form Philly Pa.
Sam, @Erik Aanderaa is a true BAD ASS. Sailing the North Atlantic around Iceland, incredible talent! You are a bad ass in a whole different way, we each have our own journey in life!
I remember sailing by little Cranberry Island on our way from Notheast Hiarbor on way to Isle au Haute. It was soupy all morning but in the afternoon it left and by near Sunset (Fall I believe) the winds picked up a few points off the starboard bow and the Scjooner Stephen Tabers bow was pounding through the waves coming at us from the South sending bow spray far and wide as a 10 Connandments sunset lit the base of the still mostly cloudy sky a fire !! Most wild Cinenascope sail ever. !!!!
A fire hydrant in the woods?? Maybe some home builder ran out of cash. Beautiful Maine coastal waters, and all the gulls chasing bait fish. Jasmin is fearless to scale your mast, even with those folding wrungs. Glad all went well with your surgery. You're an inspiration. Look forward to more vids and keep us in the loop on your winter projects.
Blimey Sam, I never knew, wouldn’t of even guessed , never even heard of the ailment let alone the remedy. But you know what it is what is; your enjoying life so all’s good, plus the fact you can smile whilst you sail makes it all the better. Keep going bro 😎
Btw I found they mKe a $10 adapter for the jet oil and other propane/butane stoves that allows you to use the green propane tanks. Works great. Way easier to find than the mix fuel. Just an fyi. Something youd probably want
I had a good laugh when you showed the can of pickle juice - I can see the caption now: Got pickled on Pickle Juice while on Pickled Herring. Great adventure Sam. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome video Sam. Glad to hear you're recovering from the surgery and hopefully it will all mend well. Keep us posted on that front. Regarding your video timelines is it possible you can overlay approximate dates these events transpire since they happen in the past? I'm trying to get an idea of weather in those locations and time of year for example. Thanks again Sam you made my Friday evening...!! Keep safe and healthy Captain.
Glad you are recovering! You do look a little beat up at home so continue to rest up. This was a great sailing video lots of big air and speed! Another notch in the mast??? Rob
Hi Sam Love your videos. Your unconcerned drive is so inspirational. When you cross the Atlantic, consider visiting our Danish waters. Especially the archipelago south of Funen (my home waters) are quite spectacular. And a meet up with Erik must be inevitable. Best Mads

Oh my gosh, who is this girl? Can't believe that she climbed that mast. You need someone like her as a full time crew.
Jasmin: "I don't always go sailing with strangers, but when I do I like to visit creepy old forts in the woods on deserted islands."
Don't worry Sam, you're about as hardcore as Eric. I can't wait to see more adventures after your recovery. Get back on the water soon.

Jetboil sells a hanging kit, for use on big walls, or ice caves, you could hang it from the ceiling, as long as it has space to swing.
I think that wouldnt work for a sea gimbal because the pivot needs to be near the pots waterline.
nice to see you with smiled lady
