I own a 2021 RAM 1500 V6 Crew Cab and love it. I especially enjoy getting 23.1 mpg in town driving. All the storage space inside the cab is great. It's a real keeper for me especially since I do not tow anything. I feel safer driving this because of its size compared to an average sized automobile. Sitting up high is also an asset making it easier to see what's ahead on the road when there is a vehicle directly in front of me not as high. It's also my first RAM truck. I did enjoy my old 2014 F-150 Crew Cab V6 but this is far better when it comes to features.
I have a 23 Ram 1500 with the V6 e-Torque, and I absolutely love it! There are so many cool little details that I’ve never seen in a vehicle before. For example, if you look at the rear cup holders, you will notice a slot that runs between them. That is a place for an iPad so the people in the back can watch movies. On the bottom of the center console lid are a fraction to decimal conversion chart, rulers, etc. The rear storage bins pull out for easy cleaning, which is very nice. But they also have a circle where you can drill a a drain hole. I use that to keep a few drinks on ice, and as the ice melts, the liquid will drain beneath the vehicle. The inserts also have rulers embossed.. I’m not sure why, but maybe if someone wants to keep a couple fish on ice they can measure them? The back headrests both fold down when you have no passengers, which greatly improves the visibility in your rear view mirror. And I think mine has 12 cup holders in the cab… as you said, it is the best interior of any vehicle I ever owned. I love it!
Driving a very similar Big Horn Ram 2022 3.6 4x4. It’s a company truck. I like it so much I’m thinking I might buy it when the time comes to send it back. Very comfortable and great on dirt roads and summer roads and interstates. Plenty enough power.
Pedal commander.... makes V6 feel like a V8. Has 32 different settings. Eco, city, sport, and sport plus! No more throttle/pedal lag. Totally different truck now! Sport and sport plus can spin the tires.. I use city +3 all the time. Get this trust me.. no hemi tick and exhaust manifold bolts/studs breaking off and awesome gad mileage... pentastar is the way to go!
I’m glad you like it. I commute in my truck and considered the Ram but it came down to the feel of it for me. I got a 2.7 EcoBoost xl 2wd. I have not had any problems. The Ecos are sensitive to oil not being changed Because of their turbos and I change the oil about every 8000 miles. I don’t do much city driving. I had an oil analysis done and it came back that the engine wasn’t even wearing out considering the miles I have about 82,000 the problem with me with ram isn’t really the engine but it’s the stuff that falls apart with the Rams including the Electronics. However, I am not one to criticize someone else’s needs or wants I will take a little bit of consideration with your comments on the Titan. It doesn’t really have much wrong with it except Nissan seems to not want to actually sell Titans. I don’t know what they’re gonna do about that transmission recall- it will be expensive and they can’t just say we’re going to update the software. I am glad you like your truck. Please give us an update when you hit 50 or 60,000 miles.👍🏻

12:09 When we purchased our 2022 lone star the salesman had a similar explanation for a use for that box. He called it the "wife box" i found it funny and now it stuck with me.
I've got a 21 V6 with 150,200 on it rn. I give it a 3.5/5. The fuel pump failed at 40k was warrantied but (costs $1300 parts + labor), then the battery pack behind the back seat failed at 82k. That cost me a whopping $4900 for part and labor. Then the famous tick appeared at 94k. Tore it apart and the rollers and camshaft went out on 1 of 2 cams on passenger side bank. Got a quote from dealership for $6900 because they wanted to do all the cams on both banks and rollers. Told them no and continued driving it. I drove it another 40k before I changed the solo camshaft and rollers. Wasn't cheap. Parts alone $900 simply because each of the 6 special rollers were $105 each plus 6 lash adjusters, along with camshaft. It runs like it did when I first bought it, but Stalatis has failed with the Etorque BS.
I thought the ticking was mostly on the Hemi version. That sucks about all of the repairs. I’m about to hit 40K this week hopefully all is well with the Etorque as I heard of earlier issues in the 2020 models.
You said you were getting 20 or so with city driving. I drive conservatively and only get about 18. You then said you do a lot of highway driving. Whew! That explains the difference.
