Simple but hard to master, Wilko has a very unique style and technique and you captured it perfectly. great Job.

Yes agree - the lick is simple on its own but trying to run it in with the G chords I find really difficult

Great to see younger players digging Wilko. He was a one off, the alternate grips and stab chords is simple genius.

Right that the chord fingering sorted out. Thanks James. Just need to perfect the strutting backwards and forwards with the jerky head movements now.

dr feelgood was a great band. in the larte seventies we organized a concert at the Antwerp Universtity with Dr Feelgood. The rider specified only "enough beer". We piled beer crates from the bottom to the ceiling on every wall. They were happy. it is a shame they don't exist anymore. Roxette was my all time favorite. Many thx for this James.

Please do more tutorials, really like the level you discussed this song at. You mentioned the 1,4,5 chords you mentioned 12 bar blues, you quickly explained the riff and strumming. It was not too basic and not too complex. I know shorts are really doing well on UA-cam, I think it could help you grow your channel. Catfish blues muddy waters style short or whatever 👍👍👍

Just found your channel. Nice one mate-really appreciate the lesson. I wish there was more stuff like this on UA-cam. As much as I like Hendrix, Halen etc.. I feel that there’s too many lessons on all of the fancy stuff but not enough of the sort of lesson like this one. Players may think that it’s only 3 chords and easy to play-all I can say to that is, try playing it for the duration of the song WITHOUT any mistakes AND making it swing. Anyway Mr Oliver-well done.
