It always amazes me how many people don’t know how to properly brace trusses, but go around framing structures. Glad you guys were able to remedy that one
I am not one of the internet guys that went crazy over hitting stuff with your hands but I will tell youI agree with them. Multiple surgeries made me a believer.
Little trick to keep the tapes running smooth especially in bad weather conditions and for longevity oil them i use cooking oils light layer top and bottom extended out i havent had buy new one for long time first few uses might get little oily fingers but it works well.
37:49 I would suggest you make a jumper cable to the battery, then run it to the panel as a outlet for a quick access for those times your stuck in corner.
Arthritis at 60!.. I am that man.....Right toe when over 40 years I kicked things into true and right fist when I persuaded it.. I'm retired now ....Yes its a pain on cold wet days...but it reminds me of how hard I worked and what fun I had on the job...
Always learning with you two. Tip. My friend is a tow truck driver. He has jumper cable pins on his truck. He doesn’t have to open the hood to jump a car. You might be able to do the same on the lift. That way you can jump start. No matter where you park. Be well.
I'd like to see how you measure out those electrical boxes so perfect like. Damn beautiful work with no gaps at all. Measuring and material ordering, are the vital real-life skills that can make or break a job. Personally I've done a lot of extra work making the wrong sized stuff work due to miscalculations.
Wow what a very professional but nice installment we really appreciate you taking us on the journey of how to install when the walls are out of whack or slightly out in any case it all went together pretty good as long as you're doing a good mathematical system it always works out pretty good in any case can't wait to see where the next adventure goes😮😮😮😮😮😮
An old truck driving tip if you wanna put equipment on a trailer, get yourself a big kitty litter, toss a little that on your ramps in your deck and your golden. Are used to haul pipe and I would throw a handful of kitty litter down the pipe once each layer was put on dip stay in place the whole trip. Lol. Cheers.
When the trailer deck is slippery you can use a 2" material ratchet strap, it's got to be a long one, use the hook in the side rail toward the front of the trailer to secure one end then lay the strap out on the trailer deck toward the item to be loaded out onto the ground, drive the lift onto the strap then wrap it around the tire. The tire will climb the strap usually without issue. Used to pickup 2wd lifts in the winter time like this without issue. Hope it helps.
it's really satisfying watching you guys work. although it's basic carpentry, but the planning, measuring etc you being meticulous etc. it seems so easy. i like spending more time planning and measuring, my co-workers dont unfortunatley.
Kyle how will be detailing exterior mounting of lights, outlets, etc. Hope you highlight these mounting points and best way to build out and apply steel. Thanks!!
Greg, the stash looks good you just need to let it grow into a great handlebar. Kyle you and Greg work so great together and when he is gone he is missed. Nice to have your son fill in and try and make your work a little easier. Whatever anyone says on here you just need to enjoy the positive and just speed read past the negative or just blink when you get to it. One question ,did you finish that problem with that wall moving? This job was a big improvement to the building and you guys do great work. Be safe and stay positive.
I see you both are hard workers, but you seem to always have a joke or have fun on the jobsite with each other. That is awesome! Well done guys! 😁👍🏼😁👍🏼
Hello Kyle, I always forget to mention a possible solution to your adversity to treated lumber due to moisture content. I live in Skokie which is north of Chicago and my local lumberyard carries KDAT treated lumber. This means Kiln dried after treating. I’ve used it for over 30 years and it holds its shape and does not wrap. If you can find it in your neck of the woods I recommend giving it a try. Love your videos and am enjoying your new shop build 😊. Best Regards Fred Thomas P/S I’m 76 and still learning so please keep em coming!
About those holes in the plywood for the electrical boxes. A jig and a router would be a much faster way of cutting them. But probably your router was also in the tool trailer .
Hello, Kyle! Great video, awesome work, as always! You ask about, what videos we want to see, please make review on your Metabo Cross-Cutting system, saw it in one of your earlyer videos. Thank you for your work!
You should get the NOCO Genius GB40 boost plus. It's not a battery charger but a handheld booster pack, I've got one and it's never failed to boost my truck, it's 12V 1000A great piece of equipment
Come on guys, the last I checked they’re not replacing eyeballs. One and done. PLEASE WEAR SAFETY GLASSES! As a tradesman for 50 years I’ve been very lucky. Two other guys I know were not and have glass eyes. Listen to that inner voice saying “I need my eye and ear protection”. Always stop what you’re doing and go to the truck to grab those glasses, ears or mask. May I suggest you make “safety practices” a major topic in your videos as many of your subscribers are in their early years in the trades. Teach safety. Outstanding work guys!
Can't have an opinion on if this was a worthy upgrade without knowing the cost to do so and what the end purpose will be. Looks great with top notch quality material and install.
Finally, for the first time, it IS the building that is moving 😉.
Hahaha
“Good enough for the girls I run with” as he’s working on in in-laws place. Love it.
1- Look good.
2- Have cool tools.
3- Safety.
I’ve learned a lot from you guys over the years! 🔨👊
Just buy Greg a work truck and haul the tool trailer everywhere! 😂
It should be illegal to have as much fun as I had watching this video. Awesome, Thanks guys
I’ve always preferred the plywood lining rather than the metal sheeting …another great job 👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
You are the best! I am an engineer and you OCD is greatly appreciated
Wow man thank you
You and Greg can build for me any day. Your attention to detail is second to none. Great builds, great videos. And keep having fun. Say hi too Greg.
It always amazes me how many people don’t know how to properly brace trusses, but go around framing structures. Glad you guys were able to remedy that one
I am not one of the internet guys that went crazy over hitting stuff with your hands but I will tell youI agree with them. Multiple surgeries made me a believer.
A great transformation. Just an old building into a smooth finished product.
Little trick to keep the tapes running smooth especially in bad weather conditions and for longevity oil them i use cooking oils light layer top and bottom extended out i havent had buy new one for long time first few uses might get little oily fingers but it works well.
Walls look fantastic.
37:49 I would suggest you make a jumper cable to the battery, then run it to the panel as a outlet for a quick access for those times your stuck in corner.

Greg sexy AF, even if he’s a little flabby 😂😂😂
You both make it look so easy. The mark of true professionals, well done. Hope the father-in-law approved. 😎

That bit at the 2:00 marker was legendary, straight up.
You guys are great. The work ethic and tradecraft is admirable and I really like your craftsmanship.
Nice job fellas.
Once again, great job. Having the videographer really makes your videos top notch. He does a great job, like you and Greg.

I busted out laughing when you said safety is my middle name 😅😂. Usually you do a bang-up job I have to say 👍
21:27 I like your new word, "stieling" Excellent work. Keep it up. Love your content.
Good evening from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Great job on the remodel. 🇺🇸

Love the truss bracing lesson!! Very helpful. Would love to see more in the future.

Better than anything on TV.
Great job.
Sometimes you just have to use the "meat mallet" when the actual hammer isn't handy. LoL. Nice video on how to work with someone else's framing.
31:10 "pre-work meeting" hahahahahaaa!!! you guys kill me!! 😂😂😅💪😁
Great work, night and day difference.
Found those Diablo bits at HD for $10 the other day! Best purchase in a long time!!!
Nice!!

Job well done. Very nice
Greg has all of the good ideas. Just listen to him man. It is literally what you are paying him for.

Appreciate some classic ladder boundary pushing. Do one thing every day that scares you, wine moms always say
Fast forward with sound...well done!
Your work is amazing
Helpful hint... make a jig and use a router with a straight cutting bit for the electrical holes in the plywood.
About those holes in the plywood for the electrical boxes. A jig and a router would be a much faster way of cutting them. But probably your router was also in the tool trailer .
Great video!
Me encanta el ritmo de trabajo y la herramienta
Great content. I've watched every single one of your videos and have been a subscriber since you taught Greg how to use a hammer.
Hello, Kyle!

The mini stabila level vile on that last wall with the door 😂

Good gravy you made that look nice!! I sure wish you were in my area, I'd hire you to build my project in a second!
so impressive......
I really like that Greg has a mic now.
