Both the long and short format videos have their pluses and minuses. Since I am not a professional builder, I have learned a lot from the shorter video with step by step instructions. However, now that I have been watching for a few years I have a basic understanding of the post-frame build process so I was able to watch this longer video and appreciate all the details that went into the final result. With that said, I think I like the shorter videos as the majority of your content with an occasional "start to finish" video thrown in. Keep up the great work.

Talking about what you are doing is good. We live in a day and age where people forgot how to communicate, they would rather text or email and they love videos where a word is not spoken. Do not cater to the people that are disconnected from reality, which only enables an out of touch society to go from bad to worse. Love your work, more words are better. As for the silent people ..... they have nothing to say anyways.

I’ve been watching and learning from you since Greg’s brother was on the team. This was a great format to sit back, enjoy and review the methods used in my mind. Kind of predict your moves before you do them to make sure I have the right sequences and techniques down. I’ve built stick homes in the past and my wife and I have decided to use the post frame method to build our own home. Your content has been very helpful in developing our blueprints. It would be nice if you put out maybe 3 or 4 of these a year. Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication to your trade, keep up the good work!

I cannot comment concerning the amount of talking as I haven't seen any other videos. What I saw was fine with me. Thanks for showing your amazing skills. Not only in the hands on of the construction, but the acrobatics involved in the roofing part. I'm sure it was all OSHA approved. Especially the invisible safety belts for the high activity. If construction gets slow again, I'm sure a circus would be an option. Take care and I'll look foward to another video. May even subscribe.

Do either as the schedule lets you. There is a big part of construction that revolves around time and timelyness. But two and half hours of content from a weeks production is pretty awesome. Part of the charm of you and Gregg talking is the "teaching moment"- Gregg has asked some questions I was pondering but hadn't formed. So, do both when can. I'll enjoy them both.

On a cold and wet Sunday after walking the dogs on the beach, this was the perfect watch.
Not being a builder it fascinates me how quickly these buildings come together. Having watched you now for a number of builds over the years, I even appreciated all the math you were doing that just make it all go so smoothly. Very impressed. Oh and from a position of zero credibility, my opinion regarding that tab is like yours. Chop it off. It serves no purpose other than to introduce annoying gaps in the corners.

My one question would be [it's a process I've not seen you use previously], what was the reason/necessity for the triple tongue in groove around the base perimeter?

This was perfect to see the full build... in one... I like the little ones where you show the specialty skills to do some of the details.. but this as a full build was great... I use this for reference as i build some sheds on my property.. and seeing the full job was good... ya it was long.. and probably not something i want a lot of... but i liked this and its very useful I watched it all over two days. And I am a mechanic... not a framer or sheet metal worker.. but like i said.. i need to build storage sheds.. and this seems like the best option for me. this takes alot of the black box out of this construction method.

In my opinion, Kyle, it wasn't as educational in this long form like you usually do, and it is the educational aspect, I think, that has grown you to nearly 2 million subs, so, that being said, the downfall of a company is usually because it departed from what made it great! I know that is what drew me to watching your channel, nearly 6 or so years ago now!
I think it's great, though, when you go back to a building that you built years past to add to or make some remodel or altercation to it!
You always do great work. I do miss the "Tool Tuesdays" you used to do. There's other channels pushing tools out there, but I always felt like you usually gave your opinion on the tools you used or gave demonstrations on them side by side! I think the side by side comparisons were probably some of the best "Tool Tuesdays"! Thanks for sharing the content, Kyle!
