I can't believe bromance bro-duet is now a genre with how many songs now go there, but it's such a fun angle xD Can't wait to hear the improvement version

I think this one is fun, but as it currently is, I think it’s a tiny bit too fast and WAY too short. It feels like it’s rushing through the explanation, and as the song is, it could be replaced by a couple lines of dialogue plot-wise. We don’t really get to see what makes them alike the way they claim they are. I hate to say it but most of the song is a narration of movement as opposed to an expression of the deeper actions taken. I’d nearly double the length of the song, make them bring up some of the things they said in the sauna that inspired them to appreciate each other. A couple innuendos are funny for sure, but make sure you space them out do they stay that way and never feel forced. That said, every line flows really well into the next, and none of the rhymes feel unnatural in the slightest, so excellent job on that.
I like the tune, and while the instrumental is simple, I think that works great here. Their bond is extremely straightforward and obvious, but nobody can understand how on earth they changed their attitudes overnight, and in the game Taka even claims something along the lines of “a woman can’t understand a bond between men”, which sounds sexist at face value, when it’s really his social ineptitude. Tangent aside, I think the simplicity works well when contrasted with how everyone is thinking and feeling at the time, combined with the lighthearted dynamic between Taka and Mondo themselves. I get why you want to add more, and it might help, I don’t know, but it isn’t NEEDED.
In summary, this is pretty good, but I’d recommend lengthening the song as a priority, primarily focusing on the deeper character perspectives, to give some weight to the song in addition to the fun it already provides. Feel free to add instrumentation if you think it’s necessary, but I think it sounds great as is.

I think you hit the nail on the head here! One of the main problems I've had with this song was that it felt too quick and simple for such an important character moment. I think lengthening the song and changing the general tone from a kind of "narrate-y, describing things that happened" to more of a "showing genuine interactions between these characters" will help make the song a lot more interesting to watch and a lot more impactful in terms of plot. Thanks for your criticisms!!
