The version you played is a preliminary and rejected arrangement of the famous medley that was put together and added along with other material to the 50th anniversary of the re-release of Abbey Road in 2019. This not the original "medley" that made Side 2 of Abbey Road so famous! This was the bowdlerised version of the album that was issued in the US. It's absolutely unbelievable that the US record company were allowed to hack it about from the perfection of its UK release, and completely lose the natural continuity of the song elements. I guess by that time in their career, the Beatles were past caring, with so many other problems to deal with towards the end - death of Brian Epstein, the 'Beatles are bigger than Jesus' kerfuffle, Paul's cannabis bust in Japan, George Harrison walking out, thuggish wannabe manager Allen Klein's attempts to usurp their finances, being shown that even they weren't above the law when the police raided and closed down the rooftop concert, John leaving - so they probably felt that the issue of the changes to the medley were inconsequential by comparison. It was out there, and nothing could be done about that without years of legal wrangling.
@@Alewifes_Husband As far as I know, a fan here edited the medley the way, it was originally intended, until the Beatles/George Martin finally put it together the way, it's commonly known.
It's hard not to be distracted by your absolute Beauty but I did enjoy this reaction for sure mostly because of the range of emotions and not to mention the fact that I haven't really listened to that all together in quite a long time.. they certainly could tell stories that's for sure

Totally agree with Robbie Lux - start with the 1st LP , right thru to The End ( the UK releases , not US .) Maybe you should start with Live At The Star Club , live in Hamburg 1962 , get an idea of how wild they were before they suited up .
Yeah there's one gal whose head to the whole thing she actually got the vinyl version and did it with that I noticed that there was a little edit it might have stopped or something because you had some video or something I don't know what happened but anyhow yeah they only thing is I think you've got the 50th Anniversary remake and they screwed up the order of the songs because when you go from came in through the bathroom window that actually is supposed to go into Paul the thing Pam and they've stuck her majesty in there and on the original vinyl album Her Majesty is the very last song After the end and to me it's almost like sacrilege that they changed that because it gives the whole thing a kind of anti-climactic ending which is so ironic and really cool it and gives more power to the whole thing so if you can somehow listen to the original version on your own you can see what I'm talking about there's like a long pause from the the end and then going into her majesty and there's also this really cool Orchestra OneNote that they play it's really loud bombastic note you know and then they go into her majesty and like I said that's so cruel to take away any millisecond of The Beatles music it's ridiculous because the way it goes from polythene Pam to she came in through the bathroom window is so perfect and they messed that up I swear I'd like to just do a open hand face slap to It Whatever engineer thought that was a great idea there's a long story about that little song they were going to just cut it out altogether and it was left at the very end and so the engineer just ran it and they thought that's hilarious we got to have it that way code because it's absolutely perfect because it's like the one song that's on its own it's not in the medley but it's just a little thing you know okay my girl but one day you'll hear it that way and I know you'll love it I was trying to think of another song that you might want to do which is the B side of Let It Be it's called You Know My Name Look up the number nobody really hears that song because it's just a funny little thing they threw together which is really cool in my book but they never played on the radio and it's kind of cool to hear of Beatles song that nobody really listens to to be able to know a song that's a Beatles song by the greatest man in the world and yet maybe a lot of your friends have never even heard it okay my girl see if you can get a vinyl copy of the record or just find the original version somewhere on the internet take care great reaction sweetheart I'll check you on the next drop
Thye changed it on the new edition? That's weird, and it feels really off. That's as bad as, say moving the backwards noise at the end of "Sgt. Pepper" to the middle of the album.

Sorry this is not the correct order of “the medley” songs. This is someone’s mix. The album order is this: ‘You Never Give Me Your Money" then continues with "Sun King," "Mean Mr. Mustard," "Polythene Pam," "She Came in Through the Bathroom Window," "Golden Slumbers," "Carry That Weight" and "The End."
Mean, Mr. mustard, polythene Pam she came in through the bathroom window is one song Golden slumbers carry that weight. The end is one song. Her Majesty is one song. I want you. She’s so heavy is one song.
This isn't the medley, as it's referred to. The medley consists of the four tracks Sun King, Mean Mr. Mustard, Polythene Pam, and She Came In Through the Bathroom Window. This track is one of my favorites; You Never Give Me Your Money.
Most people agree the medley starts with You Never Give Me Your Money (a song brought back in Carry That Weight) and ends with The End (or Her Majesty). Look at the Wiki page for Abbey Road.
Hi Ambrose, I looked up the Spanish vibe part of "Sun King" and it translates to: "Because of my great happiness towards my love, I must become one with her." There is no other band like this one. Thank you
The foreign words don’t mean anything. About the mixture of Spanish and Italian words in the lyrics, Lennon said, "...we just made up... Paul knew a few Spanish words from school, you know. So we just strung any Spanish words that sounded vaguely like something." Listen closely. It ends with “cake-and-eat-it parasol. It’s like in “I Am the Walrus.” Coo-coo ka-joob!

I dislike how they moved "Her Majesty" from the END of the original album release in 1969 (a few seconds after "THE END" finishes) and placed it BETWEEN "Mean Mr. Mustard" and "Polythene Pam" it doesn't FIT there (even though I hear that is where they originally placed it before releasing the final album in 1969 where it was moved to the very end of the record) It TOTALLY INTERRUPTS the flow of MEAN MR MUSTARD and POLYTHENE PAM. NOW the trouble is, ALL the reactors are reacting to THIS version AMBROSE CYNTHIA just played and NOT the ORIGINAL 1969 like all of us heard back then. It really really spoils that part of the medley.
Her Majesty completely ruined the Medley since Golden Slumber Carey That Weight and The End felt like the perfect end and then A little unexpected jingle plays about Paul wanting to get the Queens attention And I made sure I removed this song From the album when I listen to it On music apps

I really dislike this version. The idiot who remastered it also changed the track order, in the original version Mean Mr Mustard is followed by Polythene Pam and not Her Majesty which is the final track. The original just flows beautifully, this version jars, it's an awful transition. Why would anyone do that? 🤮
Sun king? The non-english part is spanish. Those are a few words, that sound pretty good. Nothing else. John Lennon had a Faible for Fleetwood Mac in 1969 (also seen in the Peter Jackson documentary "Get Back", how Lennon raved about the then new band) and made this track called "Sun King", which was oriented at "Mac's" famous instrumental "Albatross".

@@terryplatt8115 I grew up with the US vinyl album and it was not like that.
John was particularly fond of the bbc comedy radio show. The Goon Show. His wit and comedic outbursts owe a nudge to the cast and writers of THE GOON SHOW.
Hi Cynthia, loved this video :-) How about checking out A Hard Day's Night album? It's probably the best of their early albums, and it's one where a lot of people discover that they know more Beatles songs on it than they previously thought.... Thanks again!! 💖
Yes. Not a bad track, and John and Paul were very good at writing songs at this point. No rock and roll classics borrowed for this one.
We used to have time to listen to the whole album. Times have changed.
Beatles are thee album bands of all album bands..if you decide to do album reviews by them I recommend you start from their 1st album and work your way to their last one by one….each album gets a separate reaction..you’ll understand the progression of the greatest band and artists of all time.
One day I'm going to do the medley on my guitar with my band
They didn’t change it on the 50th anniversary. They have the original LP and then on one of the bonus discs has the trial edit
Great song Ambrose, or should I say great several songs. The Beatles are so unpredictable in their story telling. Well done. Cheers
The genesis of the concept album.
sMILE by The Beach boys was a 3 part concept album in 1967
St. Pepper was a concept album if I've ever heard one.
Read the track listings on the vinyl record whoever put this together messed it up UA-cam music reactors really should do Beatles albums. One album maritime the complete side as it was originally intended.
These were parts of songs they hadn't finished writing.
Another great reaction 😃
The long medley on The Beatles last album was just a bunch of unfinished snippets of songs strung together, musically. Genius, right? What other band would try that? LOL
What? Golden Slumbers, Carry That Weight, You Never Give Me Your Money, The End are unfinished? I ain't buyin' it
ur speaking voice is very nice.
This is not the original version. "Her Majesty " would be on the end, not the middle.
Musical Gods...
Oh my dear. You took the headphones off 3 seconds too early. Paul sings a little ditty about the queen at the very end ):
Please do listen to the whole album at once some time, you will love it fully (: love your channel and your charm :)
Her majesty was moved to between mean Mr mustard and polythene Pam in this mix which sought to recreate the original version with the released versions of the songs
9:40 for the transition of Mr Mustard to Her Majesty
'abbey road' frm 69 was v bugs last album, 'let it be' 70 was relaeased after vey split. abey rd is my fav bug album. on v album her majesty ver was a long apuse b4 n most thoguht v album was finished n ven .......mre!. sequence is wrong, majesty was v last song on v album if i rmebr corect?. tink ur listening to side b first?.
Paul linda denny recorded -BAND ON THE RUN- LP in Lagos. Check it out!
orange suits you 💕 and the smile !
Analyze Spoonful from the Live CReam version on Wheels of Fire. It is 16:54. The straight out playing is better than Hendrix, and any live playing by Page.
Mean Mr Mustard thanks you.
Yeah, well, that smooth part was in Italian.
♥♥♥
This was not the last version
🎸👍👍👍👏💓🥰
Paul McCartney is Genius
The medley is combination of unfinished songs compiled and integrated
More Beatles pls
This isn't the medley, as it's referred to. The medley consists of the four tracks Sun King, Mean Mr. Mustard, Polythene Pam, and She Came In Through the Bathroom Window. This track is one of my favorites; You Never Give Me Your Money.
Most people agree the medley starts with You Never Give Me Your Money (a song brought back in Carry That Weight) and ends with The End (or Her Majesty). Look at the Wiki page for Abbey Road.
Abbey road....good choice.
this version of the medley does not follow the album version, a pity..
It wasn't chronological.
Hi Ambrose, I looked up the Spanish vibe part of "Sun King" and it translates to:
"Because of my great happiness towards my love, I must become one with her."
There is no other band like this one. Thank you
The foreign words don’t mean anything.

Remastered.. again our descendants are being robbed
Prog bands of 70s many turned pop later for money.
Funny Beatles greatest pop band ever, by 1970 (went separate ways) were becoming great prog. Hehe.
You can’t interrupt the Beatles lol
you're listening to the wrong version. this isn't the original version of the released album. the song sequence on the actual album is different and is actually better than this. i see people listening to the wrong versions of songs and albums all the time. its a youtube problem. listeners don't know what they're listening to isn't the original or best version available.
its really quite irritating to tell you the truth. the internet is really, really screwed up. its altering and misrepresenting reality. and that's NOT a good thing. thanks for the video, nonetheless.
Well the original has her majesty slapped at the end so no
@@cancerandaids3822 ... ya, at the end. that's where it belongs. youtube is now represented by lies, misinformation, simple uncorrected errors and a false representation of history.
so, yes.
This ain't the original recording, a sacrilege to mess around with the track listing!
WHERE did U find this Video ! ! ? ? Some of the songs are in the WRONG ORDER .... ! ! ! And the 'Mix' is a Bit STRANGE ! ! It is Definitely NOT the Original Recording ....
i dont know why your version had her majesty after mr mustard. polythene pam is supposed to be right after mr mustard and then her majesty closes it out
cause pam was mustards cousin or sister. something like that
react to ALG Blazer - Jocelyn
Paul stole the title "Golden Slumbers" from a much older song. His version is better.
Her Majesty completely ruined the Medley since Golden Slumber Carey That Weight and The End felt like the perfect end and then A little unexpected jingle plays about Paul wanting to get the Queens attention
And I made sure I removed this song
From the album when I listen to it
On music apps
totally agree at the end of the end it was perfect end
John Lennon hated the medley. But he was wrong.
He was wrong a lot.
What language is she speaking?🤔
THE SONG HER MAJESTY DOES NOT GO THERE THIS HAS BEEN CUT SHAME AND DISRESPECTFUL SHAME SHAME I WILL NOT WATCH HOW DARE SOMEONE CUT THIS AND INSERT A SONG RIDICIULOUS NO ONE IS QUALIFIED TO DO THAT EXCEPT A BEATLE SHAME SHAME!!!! GOODBYE
John was not crazy about the medley
He was jealous of Paul’s genius
The order is wrong
This is one of the preliminary arrangements of the famous medley that was put together and added, along with other material, to the 50th anniversary of the re-release of Abbey Road in 2019. Here's what you're looking for... ua-cam.com/video/pAIUxGn9lCI/v-deo.html ✌😎
This version of the medley is crap, with a variety of deletions and alterations NOT in the original studio release... Why do some folks have to try to "fix" things that are not at all broken?!?
Greetings from Oslo, Norway. Allow me to recommend the following, Ms.Cynthia. "Care of Cell 44" by The Zombies. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Cheers! :)
Dydjkkkkkkk
I really dislike this version. The idiot who remastered it also changed the track order, in the original version Mean Mr Mustard is followed by Polythene Pam and not Her Majesty which is the final track. The original just flows beautifully, this version jars, it's an awful transition. Why would anyone do that? 🤮
What language is that? It's fake Italian :-)
