I love the new direction your going in with your analytical videos I like to play them in the background while I learn about things in pvz I never even knew about. You know so much about the game it’s like a fixation for you so you should get checked for high functioning autism anyway I love how you don’t have text in the screen anymore it’s way more engaging.
This is the funniest comment I have ever received
🙏
Wtf the comment went from wholesome and useful to straight up calling someone autistic. Wut

Sun Bean might be underrated but Sun-Shroom has the best lore for a plant imo:
He hates the sun so much that it tries to get it off from himself quickly as possible. His pure hatred for a literal star is unmatched...
He doesn’t like your pfp either. The door’s fine
dude... now i wish there's a youtuber that animates their short almanac lore lmao
your pfp is basically
POV you're kirby: is this u?
Ok when this comment got so many attention i was just away like 1 day. Never knew many people were interested in deep Sun-Shroom lore :D...
Also for pvz2:
"..even Sun-shroom has it's own dark days."
I wonder what those are? I mean i guess it's night everytime, henceforth a dark day?
I really liked using Sun Bean in Dark Ages, then completely forgot about him for the next 294 years and it hasn't even been a year since I last completed Adventure Mode.
This person is over 294 years old 😳 that’s crazy
@@fulookin6701 not to mention pvz 2 has existed for also 294 years

woah he played pvz2 when the release
Lore wise sun beam is honestly a wholesome plant as he is a loving brother to all of his bean bros
Yeah, Sun Bean is such a cool guy
Such a mood
Yeah Terraria npc
He is a sunshine
He was pretty useful to me, at one point I brought him to every level because his gimmick was pretty nice and useful for early levels.
What world
@@phantomsoul65 dark ages mostly
It's not essential but it's definitely useful whenever there are many tanky zombies. As long as I have a free slot I always bring sun beans.
I think my opinion on sun bean certainly changed.
For the purposes of choosing the plants that best fit for an adventure level, the Jurassic marsh argument is certainly very strong in favor for it
So many tanky zombies, so many suns. If dropped on the fossilhead or buckethead zombie with a potato mine it'll always get a return plus interest.
You made me watch a 10m video about the competitive viability of a unit in a game I have only played once then dropped. Good job man.
😂😂😂
Neat! I used to really enjoy Sunbean…until Solar Sage came out. It really is just a better Sunbean in every area…even the skill and timing required to use it effectively.
Still, I found this video really _enlighten-mint-ing!_ I never realized how useful the bean bro was as a counter for Jurassic March.
Also, might I recommend you covering some of the monthly new plants in the documentary style as well? It would be epic to see an analysis of really cool plants like Hocus crocus 🌸

The plants is really good especially when you use them 3 time in one zombies
WHY IS YOUR AUDIO COMING FROM THE BOTTOM HALF OF MY HEADPHONES????

Sun Bean is a good support plant in the middle of the game filled with tanks if you need a burst of sun. It's also a good support sun producer providing you have used it on the right zombie. It doesn't fair well in crowds as a weak zombie can eat it instead.
One of the biggest advantages of sun bean is how good it is when you grow it in the zen garden. It’s an insta kill that doesn’t care about health, so it’s useful in penny’s pursuit
Sun Bean is a "I had to use it just for sake of the level" plant for me, but I had to admit it that Sun Bean is underrated.
I originally noticed the potential of sun bean in eclice. Then I tried it in vanilla and realized that it is actually kinda good. (This happened with some other plants too. Plants that are really slept on include banana launcher, chili bean, gold leaf, thyme warp, celery stalker, perfume-shroom, fume-shroom, stunion, rotobaga, an many more)
Thyme warp is a goated plant its just that it can only be used in neon mixtape tour
Im very sure most people uses celery stalker. The problem is that it doesn't hide quick enough after killing a zombie.
Been reinstalling version 5.0.1 for a while now and I must say that it’s truly helpful in the beginning of the levels.
How did you get It?

Thank you for shedding light on Sun Bean today. He feels to underrated imo.
Also I didn’t know you could stack Sun Beans onto 1 zombie. Cool!
Playing mods made me really value sun bean
This thing is like the second sun producer you need but without worrying about the space or why gold bloom is now premium instead from a quest
Like everything else you have to work with him and to know what you are doing and you will be rewarded nicely
How do you play with mods?? I’ve been trying but have no idea how to get started
3:13 bro didnt stuck the landing
I always thought Sun Bean is insanely underrated, feed it to a buckethead or a knight and it pays back 500% more!
I always pick it if I choose sunshroom as my main sun producer. It produces enough to last me until the shroom get to full size.
İ really wanna see more of this types of videos. I love the analysis.
Good job 👍
This video is so slay! Sun Bean is such a good plant I remembered it when I watched this video UwU
Damn actually a cool video, I definitely was someone who trashed on sun bean pretty much exactly for why you said, the permanent sun producers tend to be good enough to not need the extra sun that sun bean provides, definitely interested in more plant videos, I remember one plant I got awakened to when I played last was rotobaga who I previously discounted but might actually be better than starfruit
Always wanted to see a PvZ 2 analysis channel and my man you´re delivering a lot, especially for vanilla which is what I always play. Amazing stuff!
I really enjoy your PVZ breakdowns. Glad to see that the game’s community is still alive
I agree, most of my strats are centered around early game, and getting sun production going as soon as possible, even if it takes 5 seed slots, a few lawnmowers, and the plant food I should probably save for the first wave. Having potato mine, sun shrooms, puff shrooms, iceberg lettuce, etc is really valuable to get your sun snowballing fast enough to lay down winter melons or whatever quickly.
Just curious
How op would SunBean be if its cost 25 sun or had a quicker cooldown
broken as fuck
Good enough
Simple
Its fucking broken + inf sun
Just curious
How op would IntensiveCarrot be if it costs 50 sun and heals plants to max (eaten or not)
@@kSevinVII Hella broken especially for walls
It's really nice to see such lively and authentic pvz content again! But given I haven't played the game in awhile (started some time before the free goldbloom/aloe and ended around when the last mint was released), I was wondering If the game is still good, cause I heard it become ad heavy, and it just lost its charm.
Hopefully I'm proven wrong :D
Unfortunately, you are not wrong, and to add salt to injury, it’s even worse
Personally, I still enjoy the game a lot! Sure, the team _has_ made some rather questionable decisions, but honestly, that doesn't stop me from enjoying it.
@@ayanoakemi2973 oh well... atleast I finished it before the cataclysm
@@thatonecabridog Thx, glad you still enjoy it, but if the rumors of ads is true then I might pass, fingers crossed for pvz 3🤞
I mean... the new plants are mostly the most broken thing to be created, but the old stuff is pretty much unchanged.
The ads are a problem though
Loving the content lately man
So excellent and informative! I must show my friends! 😃
9:27 NOOOO ITS NOT A FRUIT ITS A LEGUME
I personally use it for Sun Challenges but I loved watching your video on this unique topic!
You are the smartest person in the PvZ community.
again with the eye-openers!
I never really used Sun Bean since most places have sky-sun so he didn't seem too useful. but smth like a Sun Bean only run would be pretty fun to see!
sun bean is really good, especially for its plant food fx
Really? The slow recharge and the fact that it doesn't produce sun directly just makes me don't want to use it. It's only useful when you feed a tough zombie but that's pretty much it. I don't know why this plant is even introduced in the first place
Sun Bean was always one of my favorites just because of the gimmick but I also always thought it was useful, just not necessarily the best. Having it boosted makes it more efficient than most other sun producers in the game, discounting boosting those other sun producers (Boosting Sun-shroom is just discount Gold Bloom). Plus, it's just a cool concept. I love harvesting resources from my enemies' pain!
You need a playlist for plant debate like this and the previous vid
Sun bean carried though the hell that eclise was, so it has my respect. Also it could be good against the level 50 zombies in Penies Pursuit.
8:50 dang what a beautiful tierlist❤
fr ❤
absolutely underrated plant, it with immitater and/or intensive carrot is a blast to produce sun. stacking on top of a common bucket boy is profit all around, highly recommended
hmmm...
Great video! I pretty much always use Sun bean in Penny’s Pursuit as it essentially neutralizes 2 of the biggest obstacles of the entire game mode. The increased zombie HP gives me more sun with which to build up my defenses & also provides me with enough sun to be able to instakill the more annoying zombies before they make me rage quit with their sheer obnoxiousness. Also his PF ability instakilling whatever zombie it affects is pretty nice as it lets me immediately cash out on that sweet 200+ sun with which to spam even more Pokras & Explode-o-vines. :)
The fact that it stucks is insane
One more thing I like about Sun Bean: He has a troll face because he knows that the zombie that eats it will die.
Called it, knew you'd make this video
You have officially changed my mind. Bravo 👏👏👏
I absolutely rocked using Sun Bean as my sun producer but since more and more zombies have the ability to destroy or move plants instead of eating it (especially in Neon Mixtape Tour), I use it less often.
there's no way that 660nj and creeps20 both releasing 2 videos about plants at roughly the same time is a coincidence lol
8:47 If plants tier lists were actually good:
Remember to drag your finger across the sun to collect it quickly. I didnt know you could do that which is why I never used it
I love this kinds of videos! Maybe you will find a reason to use gold leaf?
He did say that he thinks Gold Leaf isn’t that bad if I remember right and ranked him quite high in his tier list just because he is useful in Lost City. But that was before the nerf
Is biggest flaw is just nerf. Gold Leaf should be 0 sun. And at least somewhat 50℅ better to cost a seed packet.
And don't forget the fact that you can only use it in lost City.
I always liked sun bean but was unsure if it was worth usein when I mostly use the shadow plants. This video helped quite a bit.
as an old pv2 player, thank you mysterious algorithm for recommending me pv2 content even though I have never searched it up on my device
This was very... well, _enlightening!_ I'll try using Sun Bean when I decide to play PvZ2 again.
My right ear enjoyed the first half of the video more then my left ear
while my left ear enjoyed the second half of the video more.
Knight Zombie+Sun bean+Hypno-shroom literally can carry you through all of Dark Ages
Ok, you’ve certainly changed my opinion on sun bean so i might have to give it a try.
When I used sun bean AND magnifying grass at one Jurassic marsh level I felt like *god*
A. Fantastic video, would love to see more like this.
B. Sun bean would probably fall into the category of legume, not fruit.
Yeah. Agree on both, kind of.
i like how you use old PVZ2 versions for background gameplay very neato
Now I'm angy after you put Glitter Zombie as she didn't eat and just flatten plant with her roller skate
"I'm not going to lose sleep over someone's opinion on a virtual fruit" is the single best sentence I've heard you say on this channel.
hey 660nj, how do you play on these older versions of pvz? i want to replay the old levels, but not sure how to get it. is there a tutorial somewhere?
My fav plant finally got recognition he deserved. I think he's kinda op in Jurassic marsh combined with magnifying grass and chilli bean
I love light and shadow-based plants, I find it weird the fact Magnifying Grass is not classified as a light element.
Sun bean does fair a bit better in mods, where plants have costs going up to 2000 sun, also some have a different sun meta where you get half of what you normally get in pvz2 and any supplementary source of sun is a godsend.
Anyone gonna mention his nerf?
He used to give sun directly based on the zombies health, now it’s just sun added to a set amount of zombie health
(In layman’s terms, a fossilhead zombie won’t give sun when hurt after a certain point)
sun cap
the audio is all in my left ear and im very upset
The thing I like about P Vs Z 2 is the amount and verity of plants.
I don't even play PVZ2 yet I was entertained and thats very difficult to do. Earned a new sub.
8:26 I feel that way with chomper
Collection piece of sun is tidiest task.
I haven’t played in years. I can’t even remember what sun bean did.
9.99k subs...
Hope you get 10 k!
My left ear felt left out during this
after the mods i really saw sunbean's value, sometimes its better to have something like sunshroom sunbean than sunshroom sunflower/primal
"im not gonna lose sleep over someone's opinion on a virtual fruit"
you fucking legend
This doesn’t convince me to use sun bean but I really like your points
I think it fits best if you have the opening to use a seed slot for more sun production. Since it doesnt take up space on the field, including it in your loadout just generally means you're producing more sun. It's always going to be at least somewhat beneficial, unlike an extra attacker you don't need, for example. This extra sun often isn't too important, so running one more insta for flexibility is often more valuable, but particularly on levels with limited sun access, like night levels, or ones where you don't have much space, like mold colonies, it can make the level just that much easier.
As soon as I heard you can stack them I just thought they were awesome
she's up their with concannon and bowlboy
Now talk about the greatest plant, Levitater.
This is incredible however, I will completely forget about the plant
Maybe use sun bean with ultomato strats? It definitely gives something to ramp up to
There was always something to ramp to, even in the oldest version of the game.
Reason why people think sun bean is bad: They're so used to using broken stuff like solar sage.
Where do you find the .obbs for your old versions? I have an APK but I am missing an .obb
Sun bean's one of my all time favorites. I always like to spend lots of coins for boost and plant food just to see how badass his plant food effect is, Also blowing up zombies using it satisfyingly good.
Dude, the moment I met your channel a couple months ago I was like “what the hell are these opinions lmfao literal garbage” but I COMPLETELY changed my mind after rewatching your videos and reevaluating your points made, one by one. Every single video you drop is not just a bias shoved into your face like “Sun bean is amazing git gud” but it’s a video full of FACTS AND EVIDENCE. That’s why I will continue to watch you dropping bombshells to people that just heard from someone inexperienced that “omg cabbage is SO much better than peashooter” when it clearly isn’t (btw that tierlist video was hilarious so many kids were SO ANGRY in the comments that you butchered the “godsend of a plant” lightning reed and more, even though I and lots more COMPLETELY agreed with that statement). Keep making bangers ❤

@@660nj no problem I thank you for the content 🙏 🖤
You might be able to beat all of adventure mode with no sun producing plants besides sun beam
4:20 Yeah i agree with that, defensive plants or a plants that need to be eaten isn't too compatible with NMT
I think Most of them just wanna eat Brain LOL
*THE NMT ZOMBIES ATE YOUR BRAINS AND ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE!*
It’s ok at best, The only good use is when it’s boosted tbh. If they made it so it was a defensive plant it would be really good if you think about it
Fog is coming?
WRONG!
Plantern.
i used to play this game so much when i was a kid , glad its still popular
In high level Penny Pursuits, literally the only thing that matters is either blover exploit, insanely high level plants ( which is a bullsh*t p2w mechanic ), or true instakill plants. Of all adventure plants, only a handful has true killing potential, with others require plant food such as Citron, Tangle Kelp, etc...
Boosted Sun Beam ( zen garden style ) pretty much makes sun production really insane, plus it's easier to manage the space for your defense. Uses as an instakill gold bloom if you think about it.
It’s the best way to get suns where zombies are highly buffed like in three chili levels i penny persuit
(They give sun based on the zombie health)
I think the strategy to make the sun bean a useful plant is kinda boring in my opinion, but I totally understand your point. Good vid man, I'm loving these analysis
my right ear likes this video
You're in both of my ears now. HELP
outside of adventure, it is FUCKING GOATED in penny's persuit. better than gold bloom sometimes honestly as a high level bucket head can give you well over 400 sun
I hope to one day see him do a video like this on phat beet
