Corey has said in several interviews that while recording vocals for this album he would scream during some sessions until he would get physically sick. To the point where he had a puke bucket in the booth with him during sessions
Great! Corey Taylor got that verse "you can't see California without Marlon Brandos eyes" from hearing a homeless person screaming it in the streets. The song kinda talks about a few different subjects like him not knowing his father and how thats effected him but also about mental health and just having a really F'd up head among other things. But personally I let songs take on their own meanings to me as it applies to my life.
Because Eyeless is a lot more recognized than disasterpiece. Disasterpiece’s lyrics are angrier, but the song isn’t like this, especially towards the end. Bye
@@seangriffin5942 yeah, but it’s still angrier… well the screams aren’t as raw and brutal as eyeless‘ since they kinda get overshadowed by the instrumentals, especially the drums, but if you take a look at the song as a whole, disasterpiece is definitely their angriest one.
@@VatIva The first album heavier songs would be batshit crazy hyper heavy. Iowa every song is dark raw and brutal apart from left behind lol. The tone is just darker in Iowa
Hell yeah...Let's goooo... Continuing down the Maggot hole🤘🤘🤘 Slipknot got me through the worst times in my life. Music heels🤘🤘Best wishes to you guys. Play the knot and the maggots will follow🤘🤘 The Marlon Brando lyrics came from a homeless guy on the streets Corey ran into who just kept repeating that. Random ASF 🤘😂
"You can't see California without Marlon Brando's eyes" - great line! There's also a live video , showing the amazing drum work!
