Clearly this whole court system is strapped for cash. One prosecutor in a first degree murder case and a three day time limit with a judge constantly worried about staying on course. The judge even mentions outdated snacks for jurors and personally going to Publix herself after court procedures to pick some fresh one up. What a crew down there in the pan handle.

My question is, will Brandon Beatty... the guy who was bestowed tens of thousands of dollars in gifts (ie, yacht, motorcycle, guns, etc) by Ashley McArthur... the man she was having an affair with behind her husband's (Zach) back... funded with stolen money of Taylor Wright's, have to give the money back to Wright's widow husband? Or will Beatty keep it?!

Witnesses are there to give the evidence they're asked for, in a structured manner. Witnesses cannot be allowed to ramble. There are strict rules of evidence that must be obeyed. If they are permitted to speak out of turn, it gives rise to constant objections from the opposing side, which wastes everybody's time, breaks the jury's concentration, and disrupts the Court. The judge is doing her job well.

Her professional peers, as well as journalists like myself, were appalled at her unprofessional haste and behaviour in court. Her priority at all times was not justice, but speed!
She was very lucky the defendant in this case didn't call a mistrial after the verdict. If this judge continues in the same vein in future criminal proceedings, she will be sanctioned.

Journalists are not lawyers, and may publish opinion pieces, but their opinions have no standing, unless such articles emanate from established, trained, legal scholars. Despite your alleged extensive court experience, you do not appear to have any grasp of the rules of evidence. The judge avoided unnecessary objections, and allowed testimony to flow uninterrupted by hearsay. She conducted the trial in an efficient and professional manner. If you can point to just one single specific instance where she did something unethical, or illegal, please do so. There are no grounds for a mistrial.

But here's a tip - try to read and comprehend what people actually say, rather than misinterpreting their statements. I said the judge was criticised by her professional peers - that means fellow legal professionals, not simply judges as you assumed. She was - if you check out the controversy that followed this case, you'll have that confirmed. Your praise for this judge is laughably out of step with people far more learned and knowledgeable than you!
I realise when you started this ill-advised attack on me you were unaware of my professional experience reporting trials for the national press. You bit off more than you could chew and feel foolish, so are trying to save face. It's OK really - anyone can make a mistake.
