It's difficult to believe Ashley's husband is a police officer or PI on so any levels, as they tend to be observant and vigilant by nature and the requirements of the work they do. He is the most clueless husband I have ever seen. It's ok for her to hook up with other men but not ok to have a relationship. Eventually a hook up is going to lead to a relationship. And his refusal to have been curious and learn anything about their finances is just beyond belief. This guy must have been stunned when he found out Ashley was a cold blooded murderer because he literally didn't know anything that was going on in her life outside him. Sometimes I ignore people’s calls and texts but I don’t do drugs I just hate talking on the phone and certain ppl are drama so I don’t choose to speak to them often, I’ve never heard of accusing someone of doing drugs just bc they aren’t around often, I’m not versed on addicts or their habits it just seems those two things wouldn’t be mutually exclusive of one another.

I’ve heard about couples who keep their finances separate, but I think I’ve known more about platonic friends’ finances than this man does about what’s going on in his own home. It isn’t as though he’s unfamiliar with one aspect of his wife’s life. I think he doesn’t care to know about most of his wife’s activities. In many marriages, the wife or husband would be offended due to the lack of interest. In this marriage, with his wife’s behavior, this lack of concern is ideal. No need to hide what your spouse would never know to look for. He doesn’t even know what the norm is, so how would he notice any aberration?
