    1-Soda- replace with water
2-Unsoaked chia seeds- they absorb moisture from your body. Soak first
3-Candy and sugar- food dyes can cause behavior problems

Sourdough bread is also beneficial for the gut bc it is fermented. If you freeze it the starch becomes a resistant starch.

I used to be addicted to ice cream but now I love thick Greek yogurt sweetened with a little bit of maple syrup and a few healthy toppings (like chopped dates, peanut butter, chopped nuts). I can now pass up the ice cream known I have Greek yogurt & toppings at home. 😋 Give it a try

Try adding some vanilla and strawberries, topped with sunflower seeds. Tastes like cheesecake. Also, cucumbers and green onion mixed with greek yogert and some powdered ranch dressing to it is great too. Thought Id share.

I love this video. I’m in my mid-30’s and i’m really into the science of self-care. It took me a lot of time getting used to eating well (avoiding sugar and processed food, staying hydrated with water, loading up with fiber, prebiotics and probiotics), exercising and getting good sleep. It really is a COMMITMENT to a healthy lifestyle. And the results are evident (on my skin, on my entire well-being, my mindset in life). Glad to know I am on the right track with this advice. Thank you! ❤

The "eating with elegance" tip is so underrated and I'm sure some people will take it wrong but it truly is a game-changer. My vices are yummy salty potato chips and popcorn. I make myself buy the single-portion packages so I don't overeat them. Also the bread thing is so true. The best bread is one you make yourself. Easier than you think to do, too! Thanks for the video, Tracy. I'm sharing this one!

Thank you Tracy💕 The chia seeds makes sense. I used to soak them over night and drink them in the morning with a greens drink and had no issues. Recently I started adding it to my protein shake in the morning (dry) and It was irritating my IBS, so I thought that maybe I couldn’t have them anymore and stopped eating them. I’ll try again, but soak them of course😉

Great video! I am 50 and have cut most of these out a long time ago. I did start to make my own sourdough bread. Just to add to what you were saying about bread in USA vs Europe ( I am originally from England and spendt time all over Europe), it is actually the way the FLOUR is processed, not the bread. Also the wheat plant is different. You can buy European flour in America, but the cost is crazy.

@TracyCampoli I don't eat unsoaked chia but I have ground it with flax seed to sprinkle on salads and in smoothies, etc. Is this also a no go if it's ground? and another good sweetener is chopped dates (so yummy in choc chia pudding), date syrup, or date sugar. It's more of a brown sugar flavor but works well in a lot of recipes. I used to have to make my own date sugar but it's much easier to get these days 😊

Hey, don’t knock the food coloring in Swedish fish 😉 They come from carrots and grass according to the ingredients list. The azo colorings (the ones causing the effects you mentioned) aren’t allowed in the EU from what I could pick up from a quick search. Sugar is the main ingredient though so I’m not claiming they are healthy 😂 Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪

This is so true!. but not in the U.S it has RED 40 dye + Corn Syrup Yellow 5,6 and Blue Dyes - causing behavioral issues for sure. In the U.S we dont have a good regulation system lol. The foods in other countries are far better because your country prohibits it. I saw a video on basic groceries with less ingredients in other countries but in the US double amount for the same product. Its crazy ! Now I should order from where you live lol I love these but stopped eating them after researching and my brother has ADHD so I took time to look into food dyes.

Just a head’s up about Stevia - it can cause excessive gas. I started making an apple cider vinegar and ginger drink every single day for health, and would add 3 squirts of liquid stevia in it. For about a year I could not understand why my stomach would loudly gurgle constantly in my lower intestines. It was humiliating, and I had to stop going anywhere that would be a quiet environment because people could hear it! Anyway, my sister-in-law randomly told me one day that stevia causes gas, so I stopped using it. It literally stopped the problem in its tracks once I gave it up. I am not bloated and have zero gurgling. I had no clue all that time! So if you’re using Stevia and have gas, ditch it!

Well most of these , I left behind, or never even got into, in my late 20’s. Grew up in Balticks, Europe. Used to have everything homegrown, cooked from scratch, no artificial stuff, no soda ( but for someone who really drinks soda, replace with water, will not cut 😳🤪 lol . I love certain kombucha, which has very little sugar, and I make from that bottle 3-4 bottles, by mixing with seltzer water. So delicious healthy, and I believe, that soda drinkers, would love that substitute, especially the new Gt’s kombucha with medicinal mushrooms) so good. Or can make your own as well. Agave , I don’t use, unless I still sometimes make my raw vegan desserts, but in the past , when I had my desserts business, and I was selling, to the healthy restaurants, in SF, I had diabetic clients, that were able to eat, and not to spike sugar( most of them ) for lower glycemic index, i don’t agree with maple syrup, I would say raw coconut nectar ( I used to use in my desserts , for certain clients) Have a blessed day🙏❤️

We have a great frozen yogurt place in my town that’s made with stevia. MUCH better option. Real ice cream is also loaded with sugar. I look for either with stevia.

OMG - yes Swedish fish! BTW - Trader Joe’s has a Swedish fish like candy that has natural coloring from veggies and fruits. Very addicting, but I try to stay away because of the sugar.

@@mmut8602 I don't imagine the everyday American person wants it either. The UK/EU has many issues but the one thing is our food has always been top quality, especially in Ireland where I'm from. Grass fed beef is what we call beef. The quality of produce is second to none. My concern about any agri deals with the US is that they flood the market with cheaper, less quality food, especially meat. If this happened then our farmers would have to drop their standards to price compete (btw meat is completely affordable and not expensive with good practice). This is where purely market driven forces are inefficient and not always for the greater good of everyone in my opinion and why some regulation and safe guarding is required, or as you say Greed and Corruption wins the day sadly.

@@mrt2215 they still process a lot of stuff here in Europe at least here in Spain, plus dunno if you ever heard of this or if it would give you an ick to know but they’re putting bugs on the food too (Europe, dunno if they do in uk too even tho I suppose cuz they do everywhere), that’s the whole reason I’m watching these videos like crazy, no more packaged foods anymore for me lol and if there’s no alternative then I’m reading the labels like crazy.
