One of the main reasons I started Chanel to talk metal with people and hopefully introduce new bands to people and give bands exposure , metal 4 life 🤘🏻

Im excited to check these out, I am still beginning my journey of metal music so this series will be great for me to keep track of. So far my favorite metal album, which I'd consider prog metal, is King Gizzard's PetroDragonic Apocalypse. Sonically similar to mastodon here but with some more complex time signatures and a frankly silly over-all premice.

Gotta be Voivod's The Outer Limits for me. Unquestionable Presence and Symbolic are rather close but nothing beats that Canadian clamour.
