Cracking picks Jeremy, I think I have at least 15 of those albums on vinyl. I'll check out the Mastadon album, I've never really paid them any attention. I've picked 20 in order of release from 1970 through to 89. Black Sabbath - Paranoid 1970 Budgie - Never Turn You Back On A Friend 1973 Rainbow - Rising 1976 Judas Priest - Stained Class 1978 Motorhead - Overkill 1979 Black Sabbath - Heaven And Hell 1980 Saxon - Strong Arm Of The Law 1980 Tygers Of Pan Tang - Spellbound 1981 Ozzy Osbourne - Diary Of A Madman 1981 Iron Maiden - The Number Of The Beast 1982 Manowar - Battle Hymns 1982 Accept - Restless And Wild 1982 Metallica - Ride The Lightning 1984 Exodus - Bonded By Blood 1985 Slayer - Reign In Blood 1986 Savatage - The Hall Of The Mountain King 1987 Voivod - Dimension Hatross 1988 Testament - The New Order 1988 Sepultura - Beneath The Remains 1989 Kreator - Extreme Aggression 1989
@@babisnikol thanks , yeah I’m not really into black metal so not as familiar with sub genre , but the debut Mayhem album would definitely be one to add 🤘🏻
Spot on. You could probably swap out Pleasure to kill for Persecution Mania for the Teutonic scene, just because while p.t.k is indeed essential it’s a bit harder to listen to imo
True , Persecution Mania is a great album, I also was debating on putting Agent Orange from Sodom , but I’ll put in the next list I’m sure I’ll do a few parts to this series 🤘🏻
Here's my list: - Black Sabbath: Paranoid, - Rainbow: Rising, - Judas Priest: Stained Class, - Motörhead: Overkill, - Diamond Head: Lightning to the Nations, - Angel Witch: Angel Witch, - Saxon: Denim and Leather, - Iron Maiden: The Number of the Beast, - Venom: Black Metal, - Mercyful Fate: Melissa, - Accept: Balls to the Wall, - Celtic Frost: Morbid Tales, - Destruction: Infernal Overkill, - Metallica: Master of Puppets, - Flotsam & Jetsam: Doomsday for the Deceiver, - Kreator: Pleasure to Kill, - Metal Church: The Dark, - Sodom: Persecution Mania, - Sepultura: Beneath the Remains, - Megadeth: Rust in Peace.
@@MetalNeverDieswithMarkA nope , I never was the biggest Pantera fan to be honest , I like 2-3 of their albums and yes would agree at least one would be considered essential , I’ll probably do a couple parts of this series so I’m sure will make one of my other list 🤘🏻
