Great tips! I never realized whipping out water from the inside a the lens can remove coating. A friend definitely messed up his goggles by rubbing the interior of the lens. Now I know!
There's also Asian/Low Bridge fit goggles for people like myself that has a flat nose lol 😅 I always ran into fogging issues cause I didn't have a proper seal around my face. Buying Asian fit goggles fixed that.
Hey John, thanks for the video, could you also cover some brands that fit with Smith helmet and also what about face fit, I have a pair that completely pushes my nose and I have to breath through the mouth, some of those recommendations from your experience would help me a lot to make a good investment. Greetings from Germany!
Well i'm getting 2 sets.......i'm selling my Oakley's Flights ,Love how they have the North Carolina one's my home state . Thanks for this video on so many level's!!!
Dude the extra lenses don't fit the goggles posted in your description. I'm seeing now the extra lenses for the goggles in the description are not the ones that are also in the description. Have to return and reorder the right ones i guess, was hoping to use your recommendations to save time.
While they are expensive basically everything is in this sport, I love my anon m4 just because I have two lenses one for each condition and the quality is great, awesome content as always
I don’t have them in camouflage but I have them in blue and gold, black and white. Yes to waterproof and they are linked in the description of my videos. On the sticker store.
My daughter and I watch a lot of your videos (my daughter is only 4 years old) got any tips to help me teach her. She we once last season and she's stoked to go this season but I have been out of the boots for a few years and just getting back into it again myself. She absolutely loves the Roman videos
I ski but one bug thing that you have to be mindful of is to correct bad habits immediately, many people don’t notice it, or just blow it off but it is difficult to overcome.
Spend the money on a good set of goggles. Owned my Smith x/o's for 5 season's now. You can still get lenses for various conditions and they have anti fog dual lense tech. Not knocking the pro series or whatever but it matter's to see where you are going so your not hiding the bodies!🙏 shred safe!
Look for restaurants that are a little off the main base area, they are usually not owned by the resorts. Hard to find at Breck, but Keystone has a lot and Copper has some. (you also don't need your vaccine card and might not need to wear a mask which could be a plus or minus depending on your thoughts on those things.) Many times they will have a sign outside that says $4 PBR or something like that, that's a good place to start! That is as much as I will say because I don't want my favorite spots to get too crowded ;)
Would a low light lens work for night riding or should I use a clear? I know clear is ideal for night riding but I don't want to buy a whole bunch of lenses
So I run into an issue where I gets some fog inside my goggles and then if I take them off or lift them to vent, the fog freezes. Any tips on avoiding this?

If you have to pick only one goggle, pick the mid light or the more transparent one. 10 vlt is too dark. If is too shiny you can squint the eyes but if it's not enough light you'll ski like a blind sheep, won't see terrain and break a leg.
Wouldn't be an issue if you were on a board! JK man skiing switch is sick. I have never had an issue with FOV but I could see how that would be an issue in that case.
ShadyRays has great snow goggles if you are looking for something similar to what he's showing you. you can get the base and three lenes for under 150. that comes with a hard case.
All you need is two lenses, get a expensive pair now and it will pay off later. Lens technology is superior, 3 layer foam and really better quality with more expensive googles.
Hey Johnathan, Rebecca and Jake here from Minnesota. We are huge fans of yours and of your channel. We have bought quite a bit of merchandise from you, stickers and so on. Jonathan Kookhouse back at it again promoting his Amazon goggles. Gotta cash in on those checks for promoting goggle products that will destroy ur eyes.
@@leonmozambique533 Literally nothing they are awesome, I rode 45 days on amazon goggles last year. Everyone says "they will destroy your eyes" but those people literally know nothing about optics. They're just haters. Khunos seem sick, but dude the $20 outdoormasters on amazon are soooo good!
@@bumpsandriffles1041 I bought smith chromapop lenses. First day was at copper in mad pow got snow on the googles on the vents. It melted and ended up with water between the lenses. Took them inside that evening and the expansion of air and moisture separated the two lenses that were just stuck together with some weak adhesive. Not exactly what I expect from $230 goggles. But that’s a “real goggle company” whatever that means. Buying his khunos just because I’m curious how they stack up. Will report back later!
@@alexs825 I have always been a brand snob and would only ride Dragon goggles. But 3 years in a row I scratched my lenses in the trees and was just sick of paying $80 for replacement lenses every year. I was super skeptical but I got the amazon goggles and they actually vented better than my $220 X2's. On top of that I bought the light blue lenses that are almost clear (95% VLT) for those dumping pow days and it changed my life. Don't wear those on sunny days though, cus that will destroy your eyes haha.

Hi Johnathan, this might sound stupid but is there a difference between goggles that skiers wear and goggles that snowboarders wear?
Sold out, bummer. Guess I'm late to the party lol. Will they be restocked?
I'm preppin up baby. Rewatching all the old videos.
Yes 🙌🏼
