There’s emergency lighting which is connected to the fire system and everything would be lit up. If you’ve ever been the last person to ride the smiler before it closes, then you might see it without the music but with the normal lights on (not emergency)
If there was a fire the smiler would be still laughing in the background🗿 the smiler would be laughing so loud infact you wouldn’t be a fire alarm you’ll only hear is the smiler laughing in the background of the fire 🗿
I can hear that it cuts out the dialogue in some parts and skips the soundtrack. For example I know they removed Marmalise from the ride but it completely skipped the part where it says The Smiler will Marmalise your body and mind.
Yes, the only thing remaining from the original theme is the big sign that says marmilisation complete. I didn't even notice that the music jumps around! Oblivion also removed 'welcome to eternal darkness' aswell all due to what happened in 2015
My honest question is why bother keeping that sign after cutting any mention of marmalisation from both the music and videos? It makes no sense, especially as someone who wants to see these features return.
The music is awesome, I’ve never been on the smiler, as it was shut yesterday when I went for scarefest. Which was sad. But I still got some merch, which was cool. Maybe one day I can ride on the smiler…
I went on the Smiler for the first time last with my sister and as we were leaving through that corridor first time I got assaulted by that laugh track and I screamed so hard I pooed myself!
Ok so I went to Alton Towers on July 3rd and went on the smiler 2 times and the exit corridor both times were really light Did Alton Towers get complaints that the smilers exit was to dark so they added in lights??

I heard stories of that happening, so I put one of my hands on the wall

They don't have enough room though. The corridor just manages to fit in the small building any larger and it would not fit

They've now put a fire exit symbol on the illusion wall, probably something to do with the safety in an evacuation

Have they repainted the scratched up floor or have they left it so people accually see where to walk instead of going right into the wall
