The accuracy of the snappy jolt at 3:24 is very impressive. I’ve ridden the smiler a fair few times in my life and each time without fail that jolt is rough as hell
This is amazingly accurate. Just missing the thousand odd people in front cueing for the ride & the hour it takes to get to the front of it. Will let you know about the night time bit in November when we get to do it again in the dark.
I was super scared to go on it as i am a new 'enthusiast' and alton towers was my first time going on extreme and more thrilling coasters. I think the smiler is really great although i'd rather something like nemesis which is just a little less relaxed. The smiler gave me a headache lmao
@@Eggish3 its upsetting that they had to open the ride in unsafe wind conditions AND have an extra cart operating on the track which the staff failed to tell the technician when they were checking why the ride had stopped
This ride looks and is designed just like the real smiler, and the queue line is the real size *laughing* You fall to your knees at the end after walking miles, some of them don't even make it at the end of the queue line but those who make it get whiplash during the ride, its fun :) P.S Even though its the same it doesn't give you the roughness of the ride to enjoy, and it doesn't seem to be that fast and it doesn't follow all of its steps like it stopping at the base of the first chain lift and the first loop is way to quick and whiplashy
I’ve been on this ride before. Saw it, Waited in line for it (its very long like the game) and rode it. Its so accurate!! The maker of this should be proud!
this is very accurate mr vitamin, I love da smiler, that queue is very accurate and it takes about 4h to go through when it is full, except after the first inversion it should have stopped for a bit
As someone who loves rollercoasters and lives 10 minutes away from Alton Towers and goes a lot (I'm next going on the 18th Aug/ 8 days) I can say that this is pretty accurate apart from the length of time that you are on the chainlift thingy. :D Also your content is amazing
@@VitaminDelicious Yeah it’s pretty much identical from what I remember. Although we road first thing in the morning so I took the whole line at a fairly decent sprint haha
@@VitaminDelicious I went there before when I was really woung after the accident that happened there it looked crazy it's worth going to on holiday maybe a first flog idea
1:41 The Smiler soundtrack is not copyrighted. Many people uploaded The Smiler soundtrack to UA-cam and IMAscore (the producer of The Smiler Soundtrack) couldn’t care less if the music is used in videos.
I’ve ridden it and it’s one of my fave rollercoaster and it even holds the world record for the most inversions in the world and the ride is very accurate
The object with the legs is called the Marmaliser, it uses different methods to make you smile, the back story revolves around The Ministry of Joy, that exists in a dystopian world where joy is mandatory. The que is designed to bombard your senses, especially inside, the theme music plays everywhere and in some places at high volume, also on the brake run before the first lift hill, bright red lights and loud sound effects are used. I'm pretty sure the Smiler music is 45 min long, to avoid too much repetitiveness, as it does run continously. Every part of the 45 min track is different, despite sounding alike.
I have been on the smiler before and this is very accurate! The boomboxes play “ha ha ha, ha ha ha HA HA HA HA HAAHAHAH” all the way through the queue.
I have been on the smiler 10 times this year and the ride itself is hyper realistic but the line to get on the ride is off but get again the ride is amazing
This recreation of the coaster with the most inversions in the world is pretty accurate. Minor details were missing such as the screens on the 4 machines and the process complete writing at the end.
I just went on every single rollercoaster in Altons today, and the best for me was the smiler & the worst for me was personally oblivion cause it wasn't long enough with only one high vertical drop, and it would've been good if it twirled and went upside down; the smiler is one of the best getting a 10 out of 10 as a coaster; the smiler is actually just Galactica & nemesis but mixed up like riding both of them in one, which is good cause nemesis & Galactica are some of the best etc in the entire park, and the smiler was the best in the park cause it is literally just nemesis/Galactica in one ride, and I really see why it's called the smiler cause manic laughter including your own spreads through the track like a disease. One of the best theme parks I've visited in a long while, the blade was very good aswell. Every rollercoaster is highly recommended, just make sure to get fast track tickets, cause that'll be a better experience for us all. By the way, the track is identical to how it is entirely.
I like how he doesn’t talk ahen riding bc when im watch maliboomer he just keeps talking and talking and its pretty annoying we love you content vitaman ❤️
Vitamin, if you see this, can you make a roller coaster that goes up to full height, then goes over heaps more hills, each being slightly smaller, then make small loops inside through the hills, before throwing everyone into space? Do in theme park tycoon 2
The accuracy of the snappy jolt at 3:24 is very impressive. I’ve ridden the smiler a fair few times in my life and each time without fail that jolt is rough as hell
i remember riding it in june. The whole thing is extremely accurate and I'm still surprised with how they made it so good

I rode it in august!
There was a crash in june
@@yelissahenriquez yeah… and? The crash was almost 6 years ago.
Loved it! Smiler is one of my favorite coasters in Europe! I love how many times it goes upside down. 14 times to be specific.
The smiler literally earned the world record for most inversions
very accurate! the queue might be the slighest bit different but the ride and detail itself is on point
Literally watching this on a school trip thanks vitamin

Good job school is lame
Actually same
I also agree with vitamin delicious

Everything about this smiler recreation is accurate apart from the rides joltiness also the chain lifts are very fast
well, it is planet coaster and the ride joltiness is hard to prevent
@@argyle7973wrong, the joltiness can be prevented, its tedius but it's possible
Actually that jolt coming out of the cobra roll is in real life, for some reason
Only the trains aren't realistic

The smiler has to be one of my favourite rides at Alton towers but the history of it gives it a bad reputation which is quite sad.
Yeah it wasn’t even the rides fault it was ether parks staff
It’s a great looking ride - I’ve never been on it but my friends say it’s great
I was super scared to go on it as i am a new 'enthusiast' and alton towers was my first time going on extreme and more thrilling coasters. I think the smiler is really great although i'd rather something like nemesis which is just a little less relaxed. The smiler gave me a headache lmao
As to queues at Alton Towers - the three rides I went on in 1999 (Corkscrew, log flume and the rapids), you were queuing up for about an hour!
@@Eggish3 its upsetting that they had to open the ride in unsafe wind conditions AND have an extra cart operating on the track which the staff failed to tell the technician when they were checking why the ride had stopped
I went on it last week on Tuesday and that is how long the smiler queue line is. Love your videos by the way:)

The line is accurate, i felt like i was going insane while walking through it because of all the turns and the music
I love it when americans appreciate our uk coasters
It’s great to see those people with stuff like velocicoaster, ka, all that stuff notice the things on our tiny island.
There are lots of coasters in Europe in general that look cool and fun to ride
100% percent accurate the ride and also the waiting line
I never rode it because I live so far from Alton Towers, but I'm fascinated with the design of it and this recreation looks insane!
