Can I still train quads if my glutes are very strong? I was diagnosed with chondromalacia patella these days but honestly I feel zero pain in my knees no matter what activity I do, still not sure if I should train my quads after watching your videos. Looking forward to your answer & thanks!
I was diagnosed with grade 4 chondromalacia patella and had to have surgery to fix it. I still train quads but not in isolated movements so no knee extension. Instead I focus on compound movements and having my glutes engaged. So steps ups, step down, squat and RDLs. You're allowed to have strong quads just make sure you have strong glutes to match
Hey, David ! Awesome video. Can you also make one about popping sounds in front of the elbow and especially when pronating your arm ? Tried to figure out different ways to fix but without much success. Thanks, love you, man .
Until you hear from Dr. David . . . my first thought was traction but since I am only a "researcher" and not a physical therapist, I found a video that gives several options, one of them being traction. TITLE: How to Fix Elbow Popping Sounds in 30 SECONDS
Hi Thegreypath, you can do them but we must note that since surgery has taken place your anatomy has changed and it's important to manage recovery expectations because it may or may not work. As a regular attendee at Dr. David's lessons I would like to advise you to open his home-channel page for UA-cam and find the many, many videos he did on knees. From what I remember you are only in trouble if your meniscus has folded over on itself and is not healing. He will keep you on the right track until your knee heals. I am 8 weeks PO from partial knee replacement (medial). I am so pleased with the outcome. No more limping, pain, or swelling.

What the patient Needs and what the surgeon provides Could be a big difference . Not all surgeons do Partials - Frankly they're afraid
I would only have a partial knee replacement only with robot assistant surgery.
