Herbie is a lucky kid. I really like the way you take discarded things and make them beautiful and interesting. Ooo, there's a little life lesson in that, wasn't there?
Also, loved the cameo of your fella.
Haha Andy absolutely panicked didn’t he 😂 He asked me to edit that out. Nope! 😂
Wow, this one played out like a thriller! Beautiful end result! The wax just brought it all together.
I really like this technique. We need a new 2 drawer filing cabinet at work, so I'm going to take the old one home and try this out. 😊
This is such an amazing effect Connie, looks fantastic!! Hope all you’re building works are going well ☺️👏👏
Great project. I even like how it looked with just the bronze and copper. What a great piece. I loved watching the process.
You definitely pulled it off.
Thank you very much! I loved the copper on its own too! Would have looked stunning just left at that stage
Ok, this is amazing! Also... 6:48- I nearly choked on my pop laughing, hahahaha ABORT!
Great to see this technique on metal. I like seeing how different items can be painted.
Love it. Ive got a big star light thats just boring black and want it to look layered and aged. Im trying this!!! Thankyou ita amazing! ❤
I want the new bonding boss in clear. I have been wondering if you could just paint with the patina paint. Now I know! Thank you for always teaching me something.
Have always loved this look! I did a big filing cabinet in a similar way a few years ago before I had heard of DBP. I thought you had to use the patina spray though. I like it better with the painted effect and likely less corrosive than the Dulux one I used!
Glad you like it! I prefer using the paint over the patina spray too. It’s a much more striking effect
Fake stuff for fake people.
Are you ok? I understand paint can be triggering for some people but make sure you get a hug today 😁
Wow. Herbie is one lucky kid. Props and a standing ovation for doing a furniture project in the middle of house renovation.
Haha thank you! 🙏🏼
