Painting furniture with a wooden block | Indian inspired furniture makeover

- For as far as I can remember, I've always loved Indian and Mexican style furniture with the colourful chippy, layered paint finish. In my previous video, I used an ink roller to create layers and follower commented that they had similar results with a wooden block. So I decided to give it a whirl and create a look similar to that vintage Indian and Mexican furniture I adore.

We call white spirit methylated spirits in Australia or metho. lol. I’ve used this method hundreds of years ago in a past life and I remember how cold it was on my hands. Looooove your work ❤🎉

I have never commented on a UA-cam post - well if I have I can’t remember it’s either been too long ago or doesn’t actually matter enough that I do - but I had to say hello to you because I think you are absolutely fabulous!! I’m still watching the video, so I’m not sure how it goes but from the below it sounds like it went very well, but I’ve never watched a channel and said “y’all watch her, this is me if I had a UA-cam channel!” Everyone in my house has seen you tell the milking cows story and putting on those gloves….I've only made it to where you are done stripping the wax….have to keep stopping to show my daughter and her friends as they wake up. Looks fabulous. I’m guessing that piece was probably originally meant to be a butcher’s block (that had never been used as such). I love the colours.❤
