@@ShoddyCast I have no Idea how UA-cam analytics work. I'm guessing it can be bad because people feel like they've already seen it and might not click on it again. Even if you did put new content at the start, people might stop the video when they get to the old part. The important thing right now is for you to do what makes you happy, if re-uploading these videos one after the other gets in the way of that, we can wait for a better solution to come up.
One note you probably heard before on the other video: The whips were actually solid with just a thin energy coating. That's why their physics worked like, you know, whips, but they could still interact with and affect lightsabers. It's actually pretty clever all things considered.
Well Austin, I'd like you to keep the "Dear, xxxxx" intro. It's sort of like a catchphrase on it's own. Like a familiar intro sequence for a tv-show. There is some value to moments of familiarity.
On a similar note, I don't really mind the "bad" typing animation. Similarly to how Ryan George is able to trick us into thinking he's multiple people by switching over to the audio for the next cut shortly before the video switches, the typing noises actually do a lot of heavy lifting for still making it feel like it's being typed
A few important things about lightsabers; They give off light, and can evaporate liquids, but, and I quote the book The Jedi Path, "Give off no appreciable heat". If the Crystal used in it is misaligned by even a fraction of a milimeter, it can Explode or not ignite at all It can be made into a flexible, whip-like form It cuts through metal and dense materials _gradually._
I’m glad that Mat is letting you reupload these without friction. You put a lot of work into these episodes and it would suck if it went to waste forever.

I started watching GT back when it was still stuff like would Assassins survive the leap of faith, and was super glad when you joined to bring that side back as GT drifted more towards lore theories. I don't have time to play every game in the world and I don't care about the lore of games I haven't played (e.g. FNaF). The Science is cool and I can understand it even from games I don't play myself, so I'm super happy you're continuing it ❤

Vader is so insanely strong but the real scary part is that he is the most precise aswel being able to crush individual organs while fighting , being able to turn of someone elses lightsaber in battle (this is nearly impossible for any normal jedi / sith) . He can also force choke you across the galaxy .

What about a rapid alternating charge? That way changing the polarity of blaster bolts wouldn’t work because you could never be sure what polarity the lightsaber was. However this also means it would be a gamble for the Jedi but given that they’re force sensitive and can basically see things before they happen, it’s not unreasonable to assume that with enough training they instinctively block the blot the moment their blade is set to the right charge.

Speaking from experience, those spark burns usually take about 3-5 weeks to heal. The metal can be over 1500 degrees when it hits your skin.

DONT YOU DARE CHANGE THE INTRO! that click, the keys clacking, the tune from carmen, ALL FUCKING PERFECTION! I literally mime along every time and just used this format for a joke a few weeks ago. its so comforting and to get rid of it MAKES NO GOD DAMNED SENSE!
Vader is so insanely strong but the real scary part is that he is the most precise aswel being able to crush individual organs while fighting , being able to turn of someone elses lightsaber in battle (this is nearly impossible for any normal jedi / sith) . He can also force choke you across the galaxy .

Brother, on the Lightsaber portion where you drop your NGD Sense line after what feels like a millenium, I knew you were going to say it. I could feel it. And I shouted it out in my living room with you. It is GOOD to have you back. And don't you EVER change that intro, I live for that click and I die for that cheap typing animation. When I see that Google Doc open I know Austin means business and I am ready to shop. Don't ever change.

honestly, i prefer the simplicity of the google docs and "Dear X" before rambling and doing science. it really sets the mood.

What about a rapid alternating charge? That way changing the polarity of blaster bolts wouldn’t work because you could never be sure what polarity the lightsaber was. However this also means it would be a gamble for the Jedi but given that they’re force sensitive and can basically see things before they happen, it’s not unreasonable to assume that with enough training they instinctively block the blot the moment their blade is set to the right charge.
