@crownvictorialifestyle4421 in 2009 the blocks were cast different. If you put a Cobra crank in an iron block cast previous of 03 you have to clearance the block. That isn't uncommon information.

I like what ur doin! I think people say 6 bolt main cause some blocks have 6 bolts holding each main journal. My 2003 aluminum wap block is like this. It has 4 bolts in each main and 2 cross bolts. So 6 bolts in each main crank journal
Yes! The aluminum blocks are 6 bolt mains and the cast iron blocks are 4 bolt mains. Just to clarify, some people claim that the 03-04 cobra cast iron blocks are 6 bolt mains. Sorry for the confusion. I appreciate you checking in 🤙
@@canadianmarauder1923 I rebuilt an 07 gt500 and it had dowel pins where the outside of the main caps. So basically it had the 2 cross bolts, 2 dowel pins, 2 bolts next to the crank.
Deburing the block will reduces points whereas it's likely to cracks throughout the block. I've done this a few times and it takes about an hour, cleaning the block takes even longer and if you think it's clean double check. I've found specs of metal after I thought it was clean.

Great video and information. Question how much a difference in the Gt crank 4.6 2v and Cobra crank 4.6 4v. Can a Gt 4.6 2v crank hold 500 hp as a daily driver 🤔
Thanks for your videos! I'm working on a non pi 4.6 now. Gen 2 cyote rods, New pistons, New rings gapped for boost, PI heads, Think a gt45 and 10-14 psi should be ok?
That's the last year of the 2v for the expedition. You can tell by the intake and valve cover shape pretty easily. 2v valve covers are rectangular looking and 3v covers have rounded shapes along the bottom
Aye man I have a question so I just finished rebuilding my 4.6 mustang and besides one lil problem it all went very well and I was hoping you have the time to help me figure out this problem and that is when the vehicle gets to operating temperature it stalls out at idle, so I replaced the IAC VALVE but once I put the new IAC VALVE in now it just stalls out once I start it. I know the vehicle is timed correctly so I don't think that's the issue maybe you might be able to send me in the correct direction

If it goes away after a few seconds, most likely it is the lash adjusters. They are pretty easy to change.
the plastic baggie the rear main seal may come in works well for install as well

Nope
What did it cost to rebuild ?
About $500 with machine work
My 1998 f150 2v knock/ rattles on first start up cold but goes away what could it be ?
Timing chain tensioners take a second to fill with oil sometimes.. You’re hearing the chain slap until the tensioners pump up..
