Seriously can't tell you enough thank you for the content you put out. Really brings a smile to my face in the mornings man! I'm commenting before even watching lol.
I hadn't herd of xray until I watched the carpet nat's from Cocoa fla. this past weekend. Cool car. I just got back into rc durring the spring lockdown after 30 yrs. Alots changed to say the least!
Thanks for another great video. Went from an AE to an XB2 and seriously I drive so much better the deal is something else hard to put my finger on it. Feels really nice like closing a heavy car door. 😁
Wir in Europa fahren immer die vorderen Reifen mit Superkleber an der außen Kante . Low Rollcenter ,1,8 Stabi, Öl 700/550, 3Slot Hex / 2 Slot Hex. Lange Schwingen / Springs 4 Dot 3 Dot .
I really like your reviews. They are direct and honest. The driving is great as well. It is mesmerising. :-) Do you have an opinion on old cars v new ones? For example, the high prices of say Kyosho Optima Mid's. Do you think it is just nostalgia or do you see them race competitively at local level? I can't see how they can. Newer designs seem to have such a low CoG and better balance, as well as larger shocks and other improvements. What make and model buggy would you recommend from the last 5 years to try racing with? A TLR, Xray, Yokomo, Kyosho, Tekno or Team Associated? I can't quite afford a new Xray yet, and I wan't to see how good my driving is after all these years to. :-)
Heh, the fast guys are the ones who know exactly where to go slow, and where not to. These chasses are epic in terms of quality, I still have a T4 (touring car) from 10+ yrs back, but am getting back into buggy racing with a Schumacher Cougar 2WD at the mo. Too many $$$$$$$$$$££££££££££££££ going out the door at the moment, but will definitely consider a 4wd Xray in the future.
You say the shocks are a little soft? I am wondering how the stock setup's 700cst front + 4dots springs, 550cst rear + 3dots springs can be a little soft. As I experience on a track you describe (carpet/astro layed down on a bumpy dirt track), it feels like it's bumping around when accelerating. Really should go down in weight (600 front + 3dots, 500 rear + 2 dots).
Looks like one heck of a chassis, Xray certainly knows how to design a wheeler! I just find 4wd so expensive to run, regardless of country of origin. Still, want to pick up one, most likely used, though. Thanks for the vid 👍
That fast guy is really good. He knows how to drop the rear wheels first and throttle. And wip the car on the corner to for fast cornering . No kidding he is fast . Like your video. What are your honest thoughts for newbies looking in the market for a new 4wd car.
I'm sure this is super obvious to people with experience but I'm setting my up now and where do you guys run the receiver antenna wire to? Just along the inside of the chassis? Thanks for any input
Are you running the 81T Spur? I find that I'm limited to about 23T pinion. I have some interference between the motor wires and the chassis floor if I try to go any larger. Are you finding the same?
Very good review. 👍🏻 Describes the XB4 perfectly. 👍🏻 I have the XB4 2020 and it‘s the best car I ever had. How do you like the center slipper with its option to select different slipper values f and r? I‘m thinking to update mine with the new slipper (if it fits).
Overrated buggy and at £550 in the U.K. a total rip off😐. The only reason it’s fast on the track is because of the driver and experience of setting it up correctly.
Not really. I got an XB2 2018 (when it was new) and my lap times instantly decreased by half a second to a second with a box stock setup (my old car was a B6). And when the B74.1 is 500 and the XB4 2021 is 580, you really are paying for a better car, the parts quality, the manual, everything about Xray cars are worth the extra 70-90 dollars.
Now that X-ray is dialed ♥️

Am also lookin forward to Razor's vids...keep it up sir
When I got mine I was told kit setup is fire and to run 5dot front springs. Car is amazing.
Really enjoy watching you at the track.

It would be interesting to compare XB2 and XB4. Waiting to get a XB4C '22 coming soon.

Car looks really good.
Wish we had a track like that here in Atlanta. RC isn't as big here for some reason
Yeah, Same here in Düsseldorf... No indoor Offroad tracks, but luckily a few onroad places available near by...
Great track!!!
I’m in Atlanta wanting to get back into the hobby. Have you found any decent tracks around metro Atlanta at all?
@@cpg8000 Look up AJC speedway. They are located in Acworth GA
@@RoachRC thank you

How much more a month is the xray over something else ?
And we certainly drive a 5 Turn Motor . An 12 grad C-Hubs
Would've liked to see what it looks like with body on
there'll be a video soon, probably this week
@@RazorRC ok thanks!

Yeah, he's a good driver. For a newb, I'd get the B74.1. Easiest to drive, best parts support, one of the cheaper ones.
What's the difference in lap times between you and Anthony? Looks pretty fast.

seems to work pretty well so far
The off road from NorCal still open?
No
@@RazorRC thank you hope to see you soon at NorCal hobbies you are my favorite vloger for rc keep safe idol😇
What track is that. You should come to oc Rc or coyoty hobbies
The bad part of living in a democratic run state, everything is locked down.
How would it do on dirt?
Clue the side walls !!!! Important. No roll!!!!
Then the car is really fast . Try Bruno’s setup for carpet .
Thanks. Do you have a link? I couldn't find it.
Leider nein . Ich kann es dir gerne per Mail schicken . Ich habe es von Team selbst .
OK, if you don't mind sending it, I would appreciate it. razorrcstuff@gmail.com. Thank you.
Luxury RC. If you buy an Xray, you can be sure to enjoy getting that 100% luxury rc. But honestly, I've heard nothing but good about this company.
It looks so slow in the straight. I heard you have 13,5t. Try 5,5 to get some speed. In Sweden we drive 5,0-6,5 in 4wd Its very fast.
Which one do u prefer? 2wd or 4wd?
I like 4wd
In my country we just marshall the car with our car..😁
What model receiver?
ARX-482
I like the huge whole in the carpet...
Important is that you drive the X-ray body . The car does not work with the Schumacher body
That does affect the setup, too? Thought this would not be so important at offroad....
