  • $20 Universal Fuel Pressure Regulator from Amazon, Slightly Modified. This will work on any Fuel Injected Atv or Side X Side. You have to Modify the plastic in between the top an bottom pieces of the Regulator to allow flow back thru the small port on the regulator to make it back feed the excess pressure into the tank instead of being used as a vacuum port like it would be for cars then adjust it to your factory fuel pressure specs. If you need any more help on setting this up on your rig let me know in the comments and I'll try to help out as much as I can. Hit like and subscribe if this helped you out!!! Thanks!!!

You can buy a 35$ fuel pump from a 99 Ford explorer and use the regulator from that I just seen that on the tube that's slick tho

Did you use the air vacuum hose that came with the pump
as the return line hose into gas tank ... or did you install a
new high pressure fuel line hose? Did you install a barbed
hose connector on the gas tank?

I would not recommend using that hose cause it will deteriate pretty quick since fuel would be rolling thru it so yes definitely use fuel line on the return part to but on the fuel tank I drilled a whole thruough the cap of the fuel pump assembly and stuck a rubber grommet that I had around the shop In an put the hose thru it so it would fit snug that line wont ever be building pressure so you won't have to worry about being anchored by a barbed fitting unless you just want that peace of mind

I bought this same thing for my Polaris and I’m not quite sure what you’re saying to do with the vacuum line... any suggestions

Spencer Shoun instead of that working as the vacuum side of the regulator cut a dime or nickle sized hole in that plastic piece that divides the top half from the bottom half of the regulator an it will allow the excess pressure to back feed thru that small vacuum port back in to the tank just don’t use the supplied vacuum line I’d upgrade to an actual fuel line and of course once you get it all put together you will have to adjust your pressure down to your desired psi as I showed in the video if you’d like I’ll try to get around to making a follow up video on this to clear up some of the confusion

@@danielboone8073 where did you cut the hole? I cut it right in the middle and psi won't adjust up or down. Stays right at the 90psi from the pump

Take that plastic piece an cut a dime sized hole in the center of it I might have went nickel sized I honestly don't remember I've worked on a many of em since this one but putting that hole in the center allows the pressure to bleed back out through what would've been the vacuum port
