    05-09 are the best sportsman as far as quality. The racks , storage , plastics are thick and high quality. The fit and finish much better

    Once it’s broken in. You will hit 60. That is amazing how you only have just over 100 miles. On it. I have one and love it. Just wish it had power steering.

      Yes once you drive one with power steering you wish they all had it.

    I have 2 of these one identical to yours. I got it last year with 600 miles, and a little over 100 hours. First thing that you are going to find, and I'll guarantee it happens soon, is the fuel sending unit is going to go out. Probably within the next 100 miles. Problem from sitting for so long. It will start and idle great until it gets to running temp, and then it will start running rough and idle bad. Dealer pump is nolonger available, and when it was, they wanted $700 for a new tank and sending unit. Quantum fuel systems sells a rebuild kit for $100. You will thank me later when your bike starts running rough and you don't have to spend hours and a ton of money to figure it out.

      I appreciate the info. I actually already replaced the fuel pump in it. I got a good deal on it because it wasn’t running when I bought it It only had about 10psi fuel pressure.

      @Rocks Powersports good deal. 06 was the first year for EFI and it's pretty common. My pump came out looking brand new, but wouldn't hit the 39 psi needed as it started to get hot.

      @@JP-tz3lt Ya when I bought min they said there kids ran it out of fuel several times so I’m sure that’s what took the fuel pump out. Appearance looked fine on mine also.

    I just bought one identical to this with 730 hours and 6200 miles for $2800 and it came with a plow as well. Thing runs perfect. Funny I noticed a little knock/tap sound at mid rpm and above and i can hear yours make the same sound in this video so it must be a 500 thing or the cvt system. I got mine from the original owner, guy was 77. It was kept in the garage and serviced just before i got it. Im hoping to get another 6000 miles out of it! I am a mechanic by trade so i can keep up on the maintenance and repairs.

      May just be the starter bendix rattling. I think they all do that....mine does.

    Rock another great video. In your opinion what Polaris 500 would be the best for all around use. Plowing etc?

    I’m thinking of buying one of these is $4500 Canadian too much for a one that doesn’t run?

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports  Рік тому

      I’m not sure of the Canadian market but that would be too much here especially if it’s not running.
