With the galaxy games in mind, I think it's fair to say the road brigade technically have the most development actively pursued in the Mario franchise (Rosalina was basically done behind and likely against miyamoto's back as it's a Mario game and not Zelda lol)
It’s so surreal to see Power moons and New Donk on 3DS hardware. Anyways I loved Captain Toad ever since I met him in Mario Galaxy and was so happy to see him fully realized in 3D World onwards
