Great video ! Thanks for sharing ! Just bought the plans and printed them out. They look great for these old eyes. If my Mom was around I am sure she would love them. Keep going no matter what!
I must be missing it; you said you put the cut list in the description but I don't see them. Thank you for your hard work and ideas. I have been wondering why landscape timbers aren't used as much as treated 2x4's for more gardening ideas.
Awesome! Yes, I made a batch of those smaller ones earlier this week listed them and they all sold! I don't like doing 2 planter videos in a row on the channel but they sell so good this time of year. Give these ones a try!
Awesome video Brady. Completely forgot that Mother's day was getting so close - looks like I'll be making a planter tomorrow! 🤣 Keep up the great work, and I've been really enjoying your projects (and nicely edited videos!) lately!👍
Love your channel and the products you make but what I like the most is your proper use of editing. I watch a lot of these kinds of videos to get ideas for different things to build but some are painful to watch. They make you slog through a lot of useless time watching 16 cuts of the same thing but yours are efficient and don't waste my time (at almost 70 years old I figure I don't have a lot of it left in the tank).
Would never give this to my mom, she deserves a much better quality wood and a planter box that has some design to it. Not sure if you know (I am pretty sure you don't know) But some pressure treated wood can have harmful chemicals in them...The one you want to avoid is chromated copper arsenate (CCA)
She also deserves a nicer son. I'm guessing that you're speaking from experience about the risk of CCA as one of it's linked to nervous system damage, birth defects, and brain damage.
Oh Johnny. I've got much better quality wood in stock for your mom. Lol just kidding man. Sorry you don't like them. There decorative planters man I'm not growing carrots or something I'm going to be eating out of them. Lighten up. Have a good weekend!
@@BradyHommelCedar is a great wood for an outdoor planter, either decorative or real. It's bug and rot resistant, and looks good with or without a finish. I top coat my cedar projects and let the beauty of the wood show through.
Brady wicked video they look amazing deffo sommit am gonna look at to try make and sell this year but can I ask 1 favour (not just u all across pond creators) could we please stop going in 3/8ths/7/32nds us that use mm and cm there really hard to convert. 🫢 Keep em coming though. 🏴👍
If you find yourself watching a lot of US-based wood-working/project videos, it might be useful to create a cheat-sheet for conversions between metric and imperial measures. Something like a 3"x5" or 4"x6" index card that you could keep in a pocket or tack up on a wall would be super handy. (Sorry - couldn't resist! I'll let myself out. But the suggestion is genuine, card size notwithstanding.)
@@aieeejo yea yea yea bravo!👏👏👏 A no what u mean a need go through all the common ones that are used. It's when it's gets really far down that gets me one recent ones a watched was 17/64ths a mean wtf and who can even measure that out. It's usually done in mm, cm or metres over here although a can do both just nothing less than say 1/4" 🤯
When the rooster crows you will have denied Sketch Up thrice...LOL.
Your rooster is awesome.
Great video! Even the rooster .. 😂
Haha. Miss that rooster he was the coolest. Thank you!
Man your rooster is so enthusiastic and supportive! We all need someone. 😂
Yeah - LOL!!! 🤣🤣🤣 The rooster was certainly making it's presence known... because I think it was experiencing a little FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out)!
Love it. Especially loved the beginning... with the rooster!
Haha. Hes pretty cool!
The rooster was cracking me up. 😂
😂haha he was awesome miss that thing!

Ahaha that rooster had me laughing so much 😂 has such perfect timing 😅🧡
Haha. He was awesome. Unfortunately I lost him about a week ago. He fought off of fox but didn't make it.
Love the design, I bet it would make a great base for a wishing well too.
Rope handles are also a great idea.
Nice
Thank you David

These look great. I have made 4 of your other smaller planters. Loved doing them!

Thank you! It crept up on me too. I didn't realize it was next weekend until a couple days ago. Lol. Glad you are enjoying the videos.
Brady, Great video. Question, what is the ratio of stain to Thompsons? What you had looked really good.
The rooster just makes this! 😂
Cool Video 👍🏻👊🏻
Great job and seems simple. One question what kind of clap are you using on the cutoff saw table?
great job sir what color stain are you using thanks
Minwax provincial is the color I used. I mixed it right with the Thompsons water seal
My wife just yelled out to let me know one of our roosters was freaking out! 😂😄
😂 haha.
Purchased plans
also do you have Any thoughts on a nice “well” something 4 to 5ft tall and easy to build
how big of a pot will it hold Height and diameter?
Great video Brady! What table saw are you using??
These are awesome. How much do they sell for on average?
How can I purchase the plans
Www.bradyhommel.com/build-plans
Time for Freezer Camp Rooster.
About how much should someone charge for a pair of these?
I did $60 a piece or 100 for the pair
@@BradyHommel thank you. I bought the plans from your website and have made a few. They turned out great.
@@PineRidgeHomestead Great to hear!
Make up a bunch for the spring time. They sell great during the spring!
Brady got an A in woodshop I'd wager
Not sure where you're located, but what are you selling these for? $30?
These? No these ones I was selling for 60 or 100 for a pair. They are larger and unique planters.
@@BradyHommel The Tiki ones. The Tikis look smaller than some of your others. I did buy the plans for the Tiki ones.
