    I must be missing it; you said you put the cut list in the description but I don't see them. Thank you for your hard work and ideas. I have been wondering why landscape timbers aren't used as much as treated 2x4's for more gardening ideas.

    Love your channel and the products you make but what I like the most is your proper use of editing. I watch a lot of these kinds of videos to get ideas for different things to build but some are painful to watch. They make you slog through a lot of useless time watching 16 cuts of the same thing but yours are efficient and don't waste my time (at almost 70 years old I figure I don't have a lot of it left in the tank).

    Would never give this to my mom, she deserves a much better quality wood and a planter box that has some design to it. Not sure if you know (I am pretty sure you don't know) But some pressure treated wood can have harmful chemicals in them...The one you want to avoid is chromated copper arsenate (CCA)

    • @yoderwoodworks5073
      @yoderwoodworks5073 Рік тому +10

      She also deserves a nicer son. I'm guessing that you're speaking from experience about the risk of CCA as one of it's linked to nervous system damage, birth defects, and brain damage.

      @@BradyHommelCedar is a great wood for an outdoor planter, either decorative or real. It's bug and rot resistant, and looks good with or without a finish. I top coat my cedar projects and let the beauty of the wood show through.

    Brady wicked video they look amazing deffo sommit am gonna look at to try make and sell this year but can I ask 1 favour (not just u all across pond creators) could we please stop going in 3/8ths/7/32nds us that use mm and cm there really hard to convert. 🫢 Keep em coming though. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍

    • @aieeejo
      @aieeejo Рік тому

      If you find yourself watching a lot of US-based wood-working/project videos, it might be useful to create a cheat-sheet for conversions between metric and imperial measures. Something like a 3"x5" or 4"x6" index card that you could keep in a pocket or tack up on a wall would be super handy. (Sorry - couldn't resist! I'll let myself out. But the suggestion is genuine, card size notwithstanding.)

      @@aieeejo yea yea yea bravo!👏👏👏 A no what u mean a need go through all the common ones that are used. It's when it's gets really far down that gets me one recent ones a watched was 17/64ths a mean wtf and who can even measure that out. It's usually done in mm, cm or metres over here although a can do both just nothing less than say 1/4" 🤯
