I read "The 40 Knot Sailboat" in our Highland Park IL library nearly 50 years ago . It was beautiful and brilliant and uninhibited thought . I would love to be able to read its mathematical appendices on aero-hydrodynamics now that I have the "mathematical maturity" to better appreciate them . One question : can it tack ?
