Thanks for the thumbs up! It sounds much better in person.. not to mention shedding the stock weight.. that stock muffler is a 40lb POS. IMO Ofcourse. Hope you sub!
I have the S&B cold air intake system on my 21 rubicon 2.0 sounds amazing especially the intake sound very loud and I also have the AFE stubby exhaust similar to the one installed great combination just wanted to throw that out there awesome vids by the way really like your jeep
Take you hood and engine cover off for the blow off valve makes a huge difference and sounds awesome when driving did it the day I got mine now it sounds great!
Thanks! Yeah I will say it’s gotten louder the longer we have had it.. subscribe to our channel and check out some of our newer content. Our episodes are pretty cool!
The new diverted valve won't give much sound. It's intended purpose is to dump pressure quicker. Being most oem units don't function well, break easy and don't last very long the new one will keep you and your family off the side of the highway. Thanks for the video 👍
@@BenandBrandi I don't doubt it's louder then factory. The OE ones are junk so you made a great choice, especially with the brand. I'm subscribed so I see all your videos 😃
It got better with time! Also removed the engine cover! It actually turned out to sound really good you can hear it in some of our videos shortly after this one
Hey man, altho i appreciate the video i think the new pipe sounds like crap. I to pondered on deleting my muffler but i rather have it nice and quiet in the brush then loud and droney. Thumbs up tho to you bro.
Ok so not being a Jeep wheeler the video wasn’t that important to me. But, I did watch all the way through and hit the like button because that moment of the alarm had me rolling. That was classic…..
Thank you!! I'm told all the time that I need to cut out the real parts with language ect. so I'm glad to hear you enjoyed that part! I was already pissed then the horn honk sent me over the edge haha!
@@BenandBrandi I agree that had me rolling!! I have to say people should be more real with there home video's, it suck when you watch a video and they make everything look so easy and then you get it your self and your like hallerin and cussing like a sailor moonlighting as a truck driver!!, sayin, "how the hell did they do that again!!!!" Good job. I don't have a hydraulic lift so I'll be crawling under my JL as well. I'm curious, do you think spraying the rubber mounts with silicone would help free those hangers up or are they "glued' on too much for that to work? Thanks!
Hey Ben and Brandi, enjoyed this one as well as many previous videos. Love the combination of rough do-it-yourself, family trips, product reviews and natural unscripted conversation... Setting the alarm, EPIC !!! Happens more common than people think, ask me how do I know... 😀 I am actually interested in the Dynomax 39537 Exhaust Tail Pipe. Intriguing, at least. I know is too early, but do you know if anything changed in MPG/power, or do you experience the "droney" sound those low stars reviews complaining about? If not, can you update us in a month or so, please... Keep it up guys!
@@BenandBrandi Cool thanks for "quicky" reply, I literally just posted my comment !!! I am really interested if the millage dropped or not, did the power decrease and do you have that drone sound... Cheers
Injen makes one that is still all closed and has an easy option to add a snorkel if you want to the system. Looks pretty cool too.. Injen evolution cold air dry air filter.
Love the sound with out the muffler and it is awesome. nothing left to bash on rocks is best part. Wd40 is your friend it will make removing the rubber, bolts and old pipe even so so much easier! Or any other penetrating lube
The question is: “ how to make a 2.0 sound better?” That’s a dumb rhetorical question. Answer: YOU CANNOT!!! That’s like asking how to make my 2 stroke sound like a 4 stroke.
But I do indeed believe certain 4 bangers sound good like my mazdaspeed 3 no muffler or cat but a resonator sounded amazing and it shot flames to I had it tuned and built a little of course
@@BenandBrandi it sounds like a toy car now and really cheap. that the owner forgot to buy a real (sports) exhaust with which you get a sporty sound. Better? 🤮👎👎👎💩
I gave the video a thumbs up but this exhaust sounds like Ca Ca. Leave it stock.

pull the wind baffle out of the inlet of the turbo and it will wistle alot more and youll get alot more turbo sounds

I very much enjoyed watching this video, your grunts and all made me laugh. It was very entertaining
Thank you!! Hope you subscribe and watch more! 😉
I'm sure something could be fabbed up, like a horn to amp up the wimpy sound these Turbosmart bov's have. At least I know my oem bov was upgraded. 🤔
Just came across this video.. have you found a better blow off valve for it? I need it louder on my jeep
It got better with time! Also removed the engine cover! It actually turned out to sound really good you can hear it in some of our videos shortly after this one
I did it, but mine drones hard at 55 mph and above. Did you get any drone?
Kept the bov stock only because it’s expensive some sell for 300+.
Maybe in some odd throttle positions.. but above all, not really.

Hey, I just subscribed to the channel, but so far I’m loving the content. Does the blow off valve throw any codes?
It does not! Works great. How did you find our channel?

It would definitely help. But ultimately just removing wasn’t bad.

I know you haven't had your JL very long, but so far how do you like the 2.0 Turbo?
much improved over the JK and the 2.0 T is surprisingly powerful! just didn't sound great....
@@BenandBrandi okay thanks. I just subscribed . I enjoy your Channel
“And you think it sounds like shit!?” Right there you had me. Thanks for the info finally the jeep ain’t gonna sound like a lawnmower.
Thanks! Yes it sounds much better. And after removing the engine cover the blowoff sounds good also! Happy with both upgrades.
Well hopefully since then and now you got a intake and removed the turbo silencer. They may help
Enjoyed your video....sounds good to me..
So what you say that’s a waste of money be honest as I need to send them back I just bought one
It’s grown on me! After taking the cover off the motor it sounds awesome! The pair together sounds great! Hope you will subscribe to our channel…
I just installed mine with a mishimoto charge pipe and I barely hear it :( I mean I didn’t expect my hks on my wrx but geez.
Try removing the engine cover. We did.
@@BenandBrandi but i just paint matched it, lol.
Could you do a rig review?
Love the videos ❤️
Sounds like a good idea… stay tuned!
If you’re looking for that distinctive turbo sound. install a cool air intake.
Bad idea for a off road rig! Good way to hydrolock a motor.
Injen makes one that is still all closed and has an easy option to add a snorkel if you want to the system. Looks pretty cool too.. Injen evolution cold air dry air filter.
Hey Ben, still happy with your delete exhaust? - Any change in performance or gas?
Cool Video, I like your style. Hope you make more JL vids.
Yep still happy! No changed that I have noticed. The blowoff valve is pretty cool also.. and thanks!!
Nasally is for sure not what I'm looking for when it comes to sound lmao
Cool. Then leave it alone. 😉

Agreed! Thanks!
INSTEAD of a hammer, why not use some HEAT??
Use glass cleaner for the hangers
P.S. cold air intake will help more than the blow off
Snorkel does the same thing. Already have it. 😉
Wow that sounds so good without a muffler!!!
Well that's one less thing to drag on the ground... I bet you gained two or three inches of clearance somewhere lol....
Hit that hanger with some wd40, you won’t even have to remove it.
Ben, the 392 Hemi Wrangler sounds good .... (LOL)
I agree 100 percent! Unfortunately I feel Jeep is charging way to much money for a big motor in the same rig! 😉
@@BenandBrandi Agree; I understand they are wanting about $80K for those. (ouch!)
If you find an honest dealership that charges MSRP for them… isn’t that something… MSRP is a “good deal” these days..

🤣 the keys
Haha! Yeah i was pretty frustrated…
A squirt of wd40 and those grommets pop off so easily.

i’m sorry but no. exhaust enhances engine sounds. i have the 2.0 and it’s ricey is this better, no. it sounds more civic.
