Evelyn, thank you for this Part 1 video. What do you need to bring for your appointment with the questura? I can't find your Part 2 video. :-)

Hey Jodi! So sorry that I dropped the ball and life took over but I am currently recording a batch this week!
For your appointment at the Questura bring along: 4 passport photos, your original passport and visa/ permesso, all the copies of everything you included in the packet you sent with the post office and your receipt with the appointment info!
Then I highly recommend bringing a book, snacks and a power bank bc the wait can be long 😅

Do I need a codice fiscale and if so how do I get one?
Not allowed to travel outside the country?? What if it's within three months of getting to Italy and I could claim I'm a tourist?

Yes you always need a CF, it is given to you by the Anagrafe, when you arrive in Italy, just go to the local office with proof of where you are living. or you can apply through an embassy before you arrive into Italy.
As long as you are in Schengen timing, or have a valid visa stamped into your passport you can do as you please. it is when those expire and all you have is a permesso (most often during renewals)

You mean the paper with all the different necessary documents? If you would like to find it in Italian you'll need to do a little digging search for Permesso di Soggiorno XXXX the title of your specific. Otherwise all documents and info for every different type of permesso di soggiorno are available in my Moving to Italy Guide: collineallemontagne.com/downloads/moving-to-italy-as-a-non-eu-citizen-a-guidebook/
Available as a PDF or Kindle!

hello, thankyou for this video, I wanted to know if I have to deal with the health insurance in Italy first and then deal with the permesso di siggiorno, or will that travel health insurance do?
also I would like to know if there is a problem if I put an address and then move in to another one.

Hi how are you, do you know if I can apply for this permesso at 16? I’ll be moving abroad alone next year and I want to know if being under 18 will be a problem when applying for the permesso.

Hey! as long as you have the visa, you should be able to apply the permesso. However just like with the visa you might have to show additional paperwork signed off by your parents!
